*A couple days later*
*Ashley's POV*
"Have you guys realized that Kevin's been acting different around me," I asked Michelle, Emily and Nichole.
"Yea. You and him haven't hung out as much as you usually do. It's like he's trying to distance himself from you," Nichole said.
"Yea it does but every time I try to ask him why he's doing it he says because and walks away," I told them.
"I've noticed him doing that so I asked Joe what's up with him doing that and he doesn't even know," Michelle said.
"Neither does Nick. It's weird that he's not even telling them what's going on," Emily said.
As we were talking there was a knock on our hotel room door. Michelle got up to get it. I heard her talking to someone. About a minute later she walks back over to us.
"Ashley, Joe's at the door he needs to see you for a minute," Michelle said.
I got up and walked over to the door to see Joe standing there waiting for me.
"Hey Joe," I said.
"Hey Ashley. Can you come with me for a minute there's something some one needs to tell you," he said.
Me and Joe walked over to his and his brothers room. He unlocked the door and we walked in. Kevin and Nick were sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Guys I'm back," Joe said. "And I brought someone with me." They both turned their heads and saw me.
"Hey Ashley," Nick said turning back to the TV.
"Oh, hey Ashley," Kevin said getting up. "I got to go."
"Your not going anywhere," Joe yelled. "Sit down and tell Ashley what you told me."
"O.K. what's going on," I asked.
"Well this morning Kevin told me why he hasn't been hanging out with you that often anymore," Joe told me.
"Really. Now I want to hear this reason and it better be a good one," I said.
"Well you know how the day before we left we went to the mall and when we were leaving we saw Jeremy and he asked to talk to me alone," Kevin said.
"Yea," I said.
"well when we were out of ear shoot he told me to stay away from you or else. You might think I'm lieing but I'm not."
"I know you wouldn't lie to me but I wounder why he would say that to you."
"Well from the vibe I was getting from him, he might think of me as a threat."
"Well I need to go make a phone call. Thanks for telling me this Kevin. I'll see you guys tonight. Bye."
"Bye," they all said before I walked out the door.
After I left the boys room I decided to call Jeremy before I got back to my room. I didn't want the girls hearing my conversation with Jeremy just in case there was yelling. After two rings someone picked up the phone and it wasn't Jeremy. It was an other girl.
Girl-Jeremy's phone.
Me-Who are you and why are you answering Jeremy's phone.
Girl-My names Chantal. I'm Jeremy's girlfriend. Who are you.
Me- I'm ashley. I'm a friend of Jeremy's. Can I talk to him.
Girl-Sure hold on.
Jeremy-Hello
Me-Hi Jeremy. Why is there an other girl answering your phone saying she's you girlfriend.
Jeremy-I don't know. She was lying to you.
Me-Jeremy don't lie to me. I guess since I won't sleep with you, you go and cheat on me with someone who will. I don't want to see or talk to you ever again. It's over.
I hung up the phone and ran to my room crying. I ran into the room and just collasped on the floor crying. As soon as the girls heard me they ran to me.
"Ashley waht's wrong," Michelle asked.
"I...just...found out...that...Jeremy is..cheating in...me," I said in between sobs.
"Ashley I'm so sorry," Emily said.
"Is there anything we could get you," Michelle asked.
"No I just want to go lay down and try to forget what happened," I told them.
"O.K," Michelle said.
I went to go lay down. With in a couple of minutes I was asleep. A couple of hours later I was woked up by Michelle.
"Hey ashley are you going to go with us to celabrate Emily and Nick's birthdays," she asked.
"No I just want to be by myself for now," I said.
"O.K. If you need any of us just call," she told me.
"O.K. I will."
After they left I decided to watch a movie on my laptop. About half way into the movie there was a knock on the door. So I paused the movie and went to answer it. Standing in the doorway was Kevin.
"Hey Kevin," I said. "Come in."
"Hey Ashley. The girls told me what happened," he said. "Are you o.k."
"Yea I'm fine. To tell you the truth I'm knida happy we broke up."
"Really why is that," he asked sitting on my bed.
"I don't really like him the way I used to anymore," I said sitting next to him.
"Oh. Why didn't you come with ud tonight?"
"I just wanted to spend some time alone."
"Oh," he said getting up and walking to the door.
"If you want you can stay and watch a movie with me."
"Are you sure."
"Yea."
So we both sat aganist the headboard. Kevin turned the TV on and picked a random movie. I can't remember what it was. About an half an hour into the movie I had fallen asleep.
