Aurora Milla Reinikainen: (she goes by Milla)
Birthday: July 21, 1984
Hometown: Vaasa, Finland. (Her parents are teachers at the University of Vaasa.)
A Little About Milla: She listens to just about anything and everything. She went through a punk phase in her late teens and early twenties. She even sang vocal for a small time punk band. She now listens to everything from The Cramps and HIM to Big & Rich and Timbaland. She never remembers which band sings which song or what the band members look like.
She loves old horror/gore films and she's big on drama. She's not a comedy fan. ("Most of those movies are all the same…and stupid.") She loves to go clubbing with her friends and she'll never pass up a chance at a concert. She's had at least a part-time job since she was 14 so she's got money in the bank.
She lives in a small Helsinki apartment with her best friend, Maj. Most people would consider Milla a bitch and her friends agree. She's moody and grumpy when she's stressed (which is often). But she's also intelligent, loyal and reliable. She works hard for what she has and is very organized. She's modest too; she's never really considered herself a great beauty.
Driving is Milla's favorite thing in the world, aside from the ocean. But she doesn't get to do much living in Helsinki.
She is a professional makeup artist.
Maj Elisabet Carlquist:
Birthday: August 29, 1984
Hometown: Lund, Sweden. (Her parents are teachers at Lund University.)
A Little About Maj: She listens to mainly Goth/glam rock and classic rock. Maj played the drums in the punk band that Milla was in. She will not hang out with Aurora when she's listening to country music. She's sweet and easy-going. She'll try any thing once. She likes any movie and loves to buy DVDs.
She, like Aurora, is simple and neat. She's friendly and warm and very nurturing. She's bubbly and loves to meet new people.
Maj never got her driver's license and she can't comprehend Aurora's love of driving.
Maj is a professional hair stylist.
They met at cosmetology school in Helsinki where they also met Emil and Luukas.
They formed their punk band three weeks after meeting and disbanded it after a year. They're still all best friends they just didn't want to play punk anymore.
Both girls are into fashion and style. Neither one looks "gothic" or even slightly alternative. The only remnants of their "punk" days are their matching nose piercings.
They girls were trying for modeling careers but both were too short. Milla is 5'5" and Maj is 5'4". Both are skinny but curved. They run together every morning and do yoga every night of the week.
Maj tends to date more regularly than Milla. But Milla tends to find more random hook ups. Maj recently met and started dating Jonne Aaron.
Milla dreams of moving to Los Angeles or signing on with one client and travelling the world. Maj can't imagine life outside Scandinavia but would go with Milla anywhere.
The two just moved into the apartment and are slowly decorating and furnishing it.
Their bedrooms are identical. Except with different decorations.
"Maj, I understand that they think it'll be fun, but I haven't sung any of those songs in like 4 years!" You protested.
"I know, Mil, but they want to do it and I think it'll be fun. Come on, for old time's sake? We'll practice before we actually play!" Maj replied. The two of you had just come back from a morning run and you were panting.
"Fine, I'll do it. But I won't dress the way we used to." you laughed as you pulled off her shoes. You carried them to your closet and put them on the shoe rack. You could hear Maj doing the same thing.
"Alright, so it is 7:30 now, we'll be ready by 8:15 and we'll get the 8:30 train and be at work on time! Oh, we're so good today!" Maj called from her balcony over to Milla's. The one habit that they didn't share was smoking. You are smoker and Maj never was.
"Sounds good to me," you called back and went back into the apartment. You showered, dried your hair and put on make up. Then you got dressed. It was early summer in Helsinki so the weather was fairly warm and you took full advantage of it.

Maj:
"Alright, and we're out the door." You said as you locked the door behind you and Maj.
You made the 8:30 train and were at work by 8:50; 10 minutes early.
"Hi, Kimi," You said as you dropped your purse on the reception counter. "What's the agenda for the day?"
"Actually, funny story, you guys are booked out for the day." She gave you the paper work and told you that you needed to be there by 10:30. You thanked her and ran up to your area to tell Maj.
"Where are we booked?" Maj asked immediately.
"Over by the harbor for some magazine photo shoot," you replied while fixing your hair in the mirror. You noticed that Maj looked shocked. "What?" you asked.
"Did you look to see who it's for!?" She cried.
"No, why would it matter?"
"It matters because it's my favorite band of all time! My future husband is in the group!" She gushed and you couldn't help but laugh.
"Your future husband, eh? Does he know about it?" you mocked her.
"Shut up, he's beautiful! Besides, I'm allowed to be happy to get to touch their hair! I love these guys!"
"Who are they?" You asked.
"The 69 Eyes," she said with wide eyes. You smiled and began gathering your things.
