Iwoke up with the sun in my eyes, blinked a few times, and then rolled over to check my alarm clock, which said 7:49am. It took a little while for my brain to register, but once it did,I was out of bed and mumbling to
myself,"This is just perfect. Late for the first day of school. This is going to
make a great impression."Ipull on a white shirt, slide on a pair of cut offs,
and slip onmy favorite pair of Converse beforeI trip on the music cds,
books, and clothing scattered onmy bedroom floor. OnceI pick yourself
up,I stumble down the stairs and grab onto a chair to keepmyself from
falling(to start out with,I have no balance at all, and in the mornings its
even worse, so this is a daily routine). thenI drop a pop tart in the toaster,
fill a thermos full of coffee, chug some, anddrop in a chair to wait on the
poptart.My parents are long gone, for they are busy at their new jobs at the University,my mom as an art teacher,my dad teaching english.My family
consisting of mom, dad, Fayliin(my cat), andI moved here in August.I'm still slightly ticked off thatI left Road River, Oregon, whereI had livedmy whole
life.I hadlots of friends, a great boyfriend, and acuired these great
treasures with out wearing designer labels. But nowI'm are stuck in Ruston, Washington, whereIdont know anyone,and Ialso dont know the rules
around here either.
