*RECAP*

"Dont touch me or I'll kill you." A voice said darkly

"Its not like I have germs dude." I said

I felt something wrap around my legs and I reached down.

"Is this sand?" I asked as I felt the grainy texture

"Who are you and why are you not scared of me?" the guy I knocked over said

"My name is Kat and I have no reason to fear you." I said

"I'm Gaara and if you ever touch me again I'll kill you." He said and walked off.The sand disappeared from my legs and I shrugged.

"Odd people everywhere." I said and ran towards the ramen bar.

*Your POV*

When I got to the ramen bar I stood there listening to the footsteps of the people by it. I smiled as I heard Naruto's pacing feet. I ran over and glomped him.

"Kat! I thought something happened to you!" Naruto shouted

"Nah I just ran into someone again." I said and helped him stand up.

"Oh well...Lets get ramen!" he shouted

"Yeah!" I shouted and ran into the ramen bar.

"Six large beefs please!" I said

"Alright you and Naruto can sit in the back." The waitress said. I grinned and pulled Naruto to our usual booth. About ten minutes later our ramen arrived and we chowed down. We were almost done when I heard a scream from outside. Naruto and I jumped up and ran outside.

"Put her down!" Someone yelled. I heard sand move followed by a thunk. Someone jumped up from the ground and took off. I heard the sand moving away and I chased it.

"Gaara!" I shouted and the sand stopped moving. Then I ran into someone again.

"Why do you keep running into me?" Gaara asked

"I dont know." I said and got off of him.

"Gaara!" A female voice shouted. Footsteps came running and two people stopped next to us. They were both panting heavily. I reached down and grabbed Gaara's hand so I could pull him up. They both gasped and Gaara tensed. I ignored them and pulled him to his feet.

"Are you ok? I'm really sorry." I said

"I'mfine." Gaara's cold voice said

"Let me make it up to you. I'll treat you guys to dinner." I said

"Fine." Gaara said

"Alright, did you want to go now or later?" I asked

"Umm how about at seven?" A female said

"Alright. Umm what time is it now?" I asked

"One in the afternoon." Gaara said

"Alright! I'm guessing you guys are at the hotel so I'll pick you up outside at seven!" I said and ran off.

*Gaara's POV*

*What a weird girl.She's not afraid of me.*

~Oooo Gaara's got a girlfriend!~

*Shut up you stupid raccoon*

"Gaara?" My sister Temari said

"What?" I snapped

"Did you know that girl?" she asked

"No." I said and started to walk towards the hotel.

"Then why did she ask us to dinner?" My brother Kankuro asked

"I dont know." I said

"She's cute." Kankuro said. I felt the urge to kill him.

*What was that feeling?*

~Ha! Its jealousy~

*No its not. I always want to kill Kankuro.*

~If you say so. I say....DENIAL!~

*Get out of my head!*

~Nope!~

I growled and continued on to the hotel, where I locked myself in my room and decided on what to wear to dinner. I decided on black pants and a black shirt. I slipped on my ninja shoes and my gourd and walked to the lobby of the hotel. Temari and Kankuro were waiting for me. I walked past them and they followed me outside. I looked around and saw Kat waiting my a streetlamp. I started to walk towards her. Once I was a few feet away she looked up and smiled at me.

"Hello Gaara!" she said happily

"Hello." I said

"Who are the people with you?" she asked

"My sister Temari and my brother Kankuro." I said

"Ok, well then, it's nice to meet you! I'm Kat!" she said

"Hello." Temari and Kankuro said

"Well lets go to dinner!" she said and started to walk down the street. We followed her to a resteraunt and got a table.

"What can I get you?" a waitress asked

"Spaggeti and your number." Kankuro said. Temari hit him on the head.

"A chicken salad, please." Temari said

"A steak." I said

"Hmm.....do you guys have a mushroom burger?" Kat asked

"Nope sorry." the waitress said. Kat got a annoyed face on.

"Then get me a normal burger, please." she said

"Alright!" the waitress said and walked off.

"You didnt even look at your menu." Temari said

"Yeah I know." Kat said

"Do you wear sunglasses everywhere?" Kankuro said

"Pretty much." Kat replied

"Why?" I asked She pulled off her glasses and looked at me. I saw that her eyes were clouded over.

"Oh you're blind!" Temari exclaimed

"Yep!" Kat said and put her sunglsses back on

"Sorry." Kankuro said

"For what?" Kat asked

"For being blind." Kankuro said

"Oh you're blind too?" she asked

"No." Kankuro said getting confused.

"Kankuro, just be quiet." I said

"Alright." he said

Kat asked us questions about where we were from and what it was like for the next few minutes until our food came. In the middle of our meal she looked up and smiled at a group of people.

"Hello Kat." a masked guy said

"Hi Kakashi-sensei, Kurenai-sensei, Gai-sensei, and Asuma-sensei." she said

"I heard you beat Sasuke at training again today." A woman from the group said

"Yep!" Kat said happily

"Good job. Have fun with your friends." The woman said and they walked away.

"You're a ninja?" Kankuro asked

"Yep." Kat said and pointed to a ninja headband on her leg.

"Cool." Temari said and lauched into a bunch of questions. When we were done, Kat walked us back to the hotel and said goodbye.

"Bye Kat!" Temari said

"See ya Kat." Kankuro said

"Bye! See you later Gaara?" She said

"Yeah sure, bye." I said and she ran off. I walked to my room with a smile. I hoped that I would see her later.
