Have you ever wondered about things? I mean like really wonder? Not just about simple everyday things but random things. Well sometimes I can be a very random person, like now especially since I am bored. Now I amin Stein Mart, one of the most boring clothing stores ever, I guess if you like that kind of store, like my mother than you can find some really great stuff. But the reason why I think this store is boring is because these stupid- wait maybe not stupid- that’s too mean and way too harsh sorry but weird-o people took out the junior section. Now why would they do a thing like that who knows?
So I’m in Stein Mart with my mom. Today we are going to my aunt’s salon to get our hair done. Yea!!! I’m really happy cuz my hair is getting so long. And not to mention those horrific dead ends. Gross!!! Since there is nothing to look at I guess I will go walk around being so very bored cuz my mom has left me. I have nothing else better to do. She really likes this store and she never wants me to be right under her when she is shopping. And believe me I don’t want to either.
Ok so back to the wondering. I am a person that thinks about things; things that some people may not even think about. Like how can someone make a whole purse out of straw? Or how can someone buy a little bitty purse for prom and expect everything she needs to fit in there. I don’t know about you but I put a lot of things in my purse. Ya know the normal stuff like cell phone, wallet, brush, lip gloss. But I also like to keep other stuff in there like calculators, IPOD, lotion, mirror, floss, pencils and pens, keys, notebook, planner. I guess that’s what a normal girl would put in her purse, but one of those little ones for prom. I know they are cute and all but I could never fit everything I need in a purse that small.
Oh well what about this, have you ever wondered how people knew how to live their lives or take care of themselves? Well I have. I mean I guess they get it from their past experiences and learn from their mistakes. I guess from their ancestors. They learned from their own mistakes and learned how to make life easier and more enjoyable and passed those things down from generation to generation. But what about the other things, like how to make someone fall in love with you or how to love. Or to be a good parent or what you want to be when you grow up even what school to go to. I mean your parents can’t make the decision for you. They can’t do everything for you. I’m not ever sure what I want to be when I grow up. And that brings up the subject of choices and decisions How do you know which ones are the best ones to make? Those are the kind of things I wonder about.
I also wonder about books. I love to read. I wonder how people can have that kind of imaginations. Take J.R.R Tolkien, or J.K Rowling. How can they think up so much fascinating and marvelous stuff? I mean their story lines are just amazing and the adventures and characters are just great. Man, I just want to go and pick up Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings right now.
Oh my goodness!!! These shoes are so hideous. Oh sorry, you have to keep in mind I am still at Stein Mart walking around looking at all kinds of stuff. I just saw these shoes that were so ugly. Ok, they are red snake skinned, so out of style, pointed toes, which remind me of the wicked witch of the west, and to top it all off they have these huge, thick, platform heals.
I am also trying to find my mom. I am really getting tired of walking around in circles passing the same thing every two minutes. Lets see how long have I been walking around? I think I have been here for about 20 minutes. I bet people think I’m some sort of weird-o looking for my lost mother. She is really starting to irritate me. This so not fair!!! I can not take this kind of embarrassment. Oh these are cute. They are these two pairs of flip flops for the price of one. Ok check this out, one pair is pink and white polka dot and the other pair is the same but with stripes. Kewl!!!
So mypoint about the whole wondering thing is its normal. And also you may not know all the answers to life but you got to believe everything is going to work out just fine. I guess with all that life stuff like how to be a good parent you just get them from good teachers. Oh and ya got to have faith that you are going to make it all right in life.
Ok still looking for my mom. Let’s see where could she be? Maybe she is still in the clothes section. Oh there she is!!! Oh wait that’s not her. Wow that lady has the same exact hair style as my mom. In a matter of fact she looks just like my mom from the back, but a lot older. LOL. There are a lot of women in here that look like my mom. Ok I think I will just do this. I think I will just sit down somewhere in the middle of the store with big puffy eyes looking like I have just got done with a big sob acting like a lost puppy waiting for my mom to come and find me. Then someone would probably come up to me with the most sorry face asking me “Are you lost little girl?” I would just think WHAT?! LITTLE?! I am 16 years old. I don’t think I am little at all and do you actually think I am lost?
I remember this one time we were at Stein Mart and there was this couch. I was getting bored and really tired (we were there for a really really long time. There must have been a sale.) So I just plopped myself down on the couch and took a nap. Sure I got some weird glances but who care? I was tired!!!
This also reminds me of what my mom and I saw this morning walking in. They have chairs at the front of the store; I guess for men to wait for there wives to get done shopping. Ok there was this old man. No joke. He was sleeping on the chair with his mouth WIDE open. I couldn’t tell if he was snoring or even drooling. I bet he was. LOL.
Ok so I guess instead of rambling on about random stuff I see in Stein Mart and complaining about not finding my mom, I could tell you a little about myself. Well my name is Jaycee Paige Rider. I am 16 and I will be a junior and Rock Creek High School in Prattville, Illinois. (It is really close to Chicago!!! I go there like every weekend) Um lets see what else can I tell you? I am in the band and I play clarinet but I certainly don’t consider myself a band nerd. I don’t consider myself of anything. I’m just Jaycee.
Ok I got to tell you about my two best friends. They are awesome. There names are Elizabeth and Jessica. But I sometimes call them Lizzie and MJ. They are such wonderful friends. They have helped my thru some real hard times. Well I guess that’s it. My favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings series. And I love Moulin Rouge and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. And lets see I just love love love---

OMG?! My mother!!! This is soooooo embarrassing. Why don’t I ever learn? Don’t ever leave your cell phone in the car!? And trust me this has happened to me before. Well, at least I found my mom!!!
