There's Nothing Much I Can Do {Prologue}

I can't really explain how I made this story, but it kind of popped into my head. So, hear it is! If you have a good sense of imagination, then this would be most entertaining! Oh, and don't mind the randomness in the beginning with all of the codes, I copy and pasted this story from word... Does anyone know how to make the code disappear? Apologies for typos and grammar mistakes!

There was a cackle of laughter as a girl hit the ground with a 'thud.'

"Honestly Tayfer, is that the best you've got?" a mocking voice taunted her, making her struggle even more as she had gotten up to her feet.

"Nope." the girl replied, a certain slyness in her voice. She lunged towards the source of the voice, tried for a fake punch-which her opponent blocked-and punched them square in the gut. The body spiralled into the air at least four times until landing with a sickening scrape against the cold, decayed forest floor. With this, the person quickly scrambled up to their feet, and resumed their fighting stance. The girl gave a smirk of triumph as she taunted her opponent even more.

"Wow, Vienna," she started faking her fright, "You really are superior to me! I wish that dear old mom was here... Oh wait, she can't be! She's dead! And guess who killed her?" She added with a sneer at her sister, as they circled each other in the clearing. The moon's glow lighting their every movement in battle.

"And I was glad I did!" Vienna yelled back, "The old prune was going to die anyway!"

The circle widened around them, so that they were circling each other along the clearings edges. Each showing that neither of them would back down. This was it. Kill or be killed.

"Ha! A likely excuse for someone who wants the throne!"

Vienna stopped her stance, and all was still around the two sisters. Even the forest life seemed to pause in that moment of time.

"Let me ask you something, dear sister?" Vienna asked, unsuccessfully hiding her anger.

"Anything for family." Tayfer hissed. This quote seemed to touch a nerve, as Vienna's eyes opened wide, and Sarah struck.

She ran towards her sister, hoping that this would be it. But it was not. For Vienna quickly retaliated, and dodged the punch. Leaving Tayfer's arm stuck inside a tree. She swore loudly as Vienna spoke in a barely audible voice.

"How did you find out?"

"You'd like to know, wouldn't you?" she stated, as she struggled to remove her arm from the tree's trunk. Splintering it after every effort to release it.

"Actually yes... I would."

"Well..." she grunted, as she tried for another effort to remove her helpless hand from the tree's trunk once more, "It wasn't 'how' I found out, as much as it is 'when' and who..."

After releasing her bloody and splintered arm from the trunk, she leapt back from her dear sister. Smiling at her evilly, daring her to ask who and when the information was was leaked to her.

Vienna's eyes widened once more, but this time she didn't recover from the shock of her discovery.

"It couldn't be..."

"If you just read my mind, then yes." she said softly, the smile still plastered on her face, as she concentrated on mending her arm.

"Jaiden would never..."

"Oh, dear sister, I beg to differ..." Tayfer stalled, as she mended her arm fully, and was ready to strike at her sibling's breaking point.

"But, how could he have managed to-?"

"All secrets should be hidden from the person they're about." she quoted again, as she raised her fist to lunge in again, "And apparently... This one was about you."

Seeing Vienna's weakness in her eyes made for the best time to strike. Tayfer slowly started walking closely to her sister, lowering her fist.

"Impossible..." were Vienna's last words as Tayfer literally tore her heart to pieces, and scattered them upon the forest ground. Some portions struggling for more blood to pump, as Tayfer stared into her sister's wide eyes, and whispered, "I hope mother doesn't take things to personally."

There was a brief silence, and Tayfer slowly made her way across the forest clearing and back towards the castle.

The deed was done.
