"Ready George?"
"Yep."
"Oruichi?"
"Uh, hell yeah."
"Good. Let's do this."
The three kids snuck into a small closet. They move some stuff around and took out a two meter sized trunk out of the small closet. They were having a hard time moving the trunk around because it was moving
"Ugh. You'd think there was rocks in here," said a boy.
"More like monkeys," another boy said.
Two of these kids were 13-year-old twins who were exactly simmilar in appearance--both pretty tall for their age with red hair, freckles and light brown eyes. They were also alike in personality. They always seemed to be happy--and a bunch of pranksters. Their names: Fred and George.
"Hurry," Oruichi whispered."We don't want to be caught!"
The twins had a friend, who was a girl. NOT A GIRFRIEND, just a friend--a best friend, acually. She was 13 too, but had black hair--slightly longer than shoulder length--about 2 inches shorter than the twins, and gray eyes. This girl would be more serious than Fred and George sometimes--but only a little. Otherwise, she enjoyed having fun pulling pranks on people from time to time. Her name: Oruichi.
They were slowly climbing up the stairs quietly, up to Fred and George's room, but since the trunk was moving around so much it was really hard. There wouldn't be any way to escape if they were caught since the stairs were so narrow.
"Were almost there," said Fred.
"We'd better be, because I'm not bailing you idiots out if you get caught again," she responded, struggling with her end of the trunk.
"Don't worry," George said. "Who do you think you are? Our mum?"
Fred and Oruichi chuckled.
"We're here," Fred interupted. Fred let go of the side of the trunk he was holding (this nearly made Oruichi drop her side from the movement) to open the door to his and his brother's room. He helped push the trunk through the doorway and closed the door. The trunk kept on moving around the floor when they droped it.
"What a surprise," said a sarcastic Oruichi. She pinched her nose."It smells like gunpowder. Still."
The room didn't just smell horrible: It was a mess. On the floor, there was paper, boxes--even some rockets. Unfortunetely, saying that Fred and George's room was a mess was an understatement: Their room was like a mini-sized dumpster.
"This should work--that is, if they don't attack us," Oruichi said, a bit confused.
"Look," Fred explained. "The only thing you need to do is shake the trunk to annoy them. That's it."
"Yeah. Like they're not annoyed now," Oruichi whispered sarcastically.
"Oruichi, go check out where everybody is," said George.
She nodded.
Oruichi sat down. She didn't need to go anywhere to find out where everybody was. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and was thinking about her pet cat, Momo. A second later, she opened her eyes, but now, instead of gray eyes, she now had very brightgreen ones--and now, she couldn't see the room or twins in front of her, but instead, she saw the inside of a chicken coop, with chickens scrambling around.
Fred, George, and Oruichi weren't average kids--Fred and George were wizards and Oruich was a witch. But Oruichi was wierder than Fred and George, because unlike most witches--or wizards--she grew up with a strange power since she was six. Ever since she was six, this ability was to be able to talk to her black cat, Momo, through her mind. She could also see what Momo saw too.
Momo, can you hear me, Oruichi said in her head.
No response.
Momo? Momo! MOMO!
She could now see that Momo had jumped a few feet off the ground.Oruichi saw a sideways view of everything, which meant Momo landed on her head.
And they say cats always land on their feet, Oruichi thought to herself.
God Oruichi, don't do that, a voice replied in Oruichi's head. Oruichi could see that Momo was getting up again.
It's not my fault if your not paying attention! Anyways, can you check on everybody? We're almost ready.
I still think this is stupid! But you're my master, so whatever, Momo said. Because of this strange ability Oruichi and Momo had, Oruichi seemed to have some kind of control on the black cat. Oruichi could see that Momo was getting out of the chicken coop, through the field to a huge house that seemed to gointo the sky(it only looked as huge as it did because the cat was small). The house was very uneven and looked like it was build with different rooms on top of another. Momo climed up to the lowest roof, which was on the second floor.
It was about then that Oruichi was feeling very tired and dizzy. Using her seeing ability had its disadvantages: The ability apparently used up a lot of Oruichi's energy, so she would easily get tired, dizzy, and sometimes nausious after half a minute of it.
She closed her eyes immediately. She opened them again and they were gray again. But she could still hear Momo in her head.
Okay, nobody's near the house. All clear.
All right, Oruichi answered. Bye. She got up.
"Well," asked Fred. Fred and George knew about her powers since they met Oruichi, but no one else knew of them.
"Momo says its all clear."
"Good. Let's sneek these into Percy's room before he gets back."
"Where did you two get these, anyways?" she asked."I thought you guysgot rid of them all."
"Not all of them," said George. About that moment, the trunk gave a huge jolt up. Fred and George got on top of it to stop the movement.
"Okay, let's put these in his room," said Fred while he grabbed one side of the trunk. Geroge and Oruichi did the same thing. They ran quicklythorugh the stairs to Percy's room.
Percy was one of Fred and George's older brothers. He had the same red-colored hair as Fred and George, but Percy was the complete opposite of them.He seemed to be more like a follows-the-rules kind of person/freak and was the parents-and teachers-love-him guy also, which would explain why he had been given the position as a school prefect for the school they went to, Hogwarts School of Witch-craft and Wizardry. Percy had been braging about his new position ever since he got the news. Unfor-tunetely for all of them, he got the news in June--and it was the middle of August. Which was why Fred and George came up with the prank they were going to pull. Even though Oruichi and George thought that setting off rockets was a good idea, they thought that Fred's idea to put some certain creatures that lived in their garden into his room would be better. Even though Momo thought that this was going too far (which is what she says to all their pranks), Fred, George, and Oruichi went on with it.
They ran into Percy's room, which, thankfully, had nobody else inside. It was neat--books in stacks based on subject, bed was made, no trash on the floor. Completely the opposite of Fred and George's room.
"Can we get these out soon", Oruichi asked. At her last word, the trunk started shaking so much that she accidentally dropped her side of it. Oruichi let go so quickly that George didn't notice--that is, until the trunk fell onto his feet.
"AGH!! Damn it!" yelled George. "Oruichi don't do that!"
"Quiet you git. We'll get in trouble if you shout like that", Fred scolded George.
Great. He's scolding his own brother.
"Hey! She's the one that droped the damn trunk on my foot."
"Just get over it," she almost yelled.
After a few minutes of having to tell George to be quiet and ignore the pain in his foot, Fred said they should open the trunk.
"Oruichi, go to the door."
She nodded and walked to it.
"Get ready everybody."
The plan was pretty simple, but it had to be done quickly. Fred and George were to open the trunk and run out of the room, and Oruichi was to close the door as fast as she could as soon as the twins got out. They had to be quick or the things in the trunk would get out of the room and the plan would be ruined. Not to mention the fact that the "things in the trunk" would try to destroy their entire home.
"Ready?"
George and Oruichi nodded.
"Okay. One."
Fred and George put their hands on the locks, butkept the lid of the trunk closed.
"Two."
The twins unlocked the trunk, but kept their weight on it. They all became tense when the trunk's lid shook.
"THREE!!"
Fred and George get off the trunk and ran to the door as fast as they could. Ourichi pulled the door open for them when she saw what came out of the trunk: Gnomes with potato-like heads, the ones from the Weasley's garden. But she didn't look at them for long, because Fred and George ran out of the room and she quickly ran out too, closing the door quickly.
"How the hell did you two catch those things!?" she asked. Her back was against the door, so she could feel the gnomes trying to ram the door down with their heads. Luckily, those things aren't that smart. They don't know that they can just turn the nob of the door.
"It was accually kind've easy to catch them," George responded. "It was getting them into the trunck without letting them escape that was the hard part."
"You're both crazy sometimes, you know that?"
"Hey!! If we weren't crazy, you'd be pretty bored," defended Fred.
"That's," she hesitated, then sighed. "Probably true."
After a few minutes of listening to the gnomes through the door (it sounded like they really liked destroying Percy's room from all the ripping and crashing noises), Fred, George, and Oruichi left. They went back to Fred and George's room and played Exploding Snap. After Oruichi won twenty games out of twenty-six (she was pretty good at beating everybody at Exploding Snap), they began talking about what they would be doing back at school.
"I can't wait to see Angelina again," Ourichi said.
"I just can't wait to play Quidditch when I get back," said Fred.
"Me too," George said excitedly.
They started playing another round of Exploding Snap, but Oruichi was in her own thoughts.
Acually, I heard from my grandfather that a certain someone would be starting school a Hogwarts. He's the one I can't wait to see.But could it really be him.....
"Everyone. Lunch," they heard Mrs. Weasly, Fred and George's mother, say.
"OH CRAP!!!" the twins yelled. Oruichi jumped.
"What are you--" she began, but got cut off by George.
"We were suppose to clean our room! She'll be really mad if we don't get it done!!"
She'll be mad when she sees that you two put gnomes in Percy's room. And you're scared of her seeing that you didn't clean your room!? Wow.
"I'm so sorry for you," Oruichi said sarcastically. "But you know me. I need to eat! BYE!!" She ran out of the room as quickly as she could.
"Thanks alot, friend!" she heard them yell to her while she went downstairs.
Oruichi laughed while running to get lunch. They're gits, but what the hell? They're my best friends.
