The day was perfect; it was a cool sunny day. Clients were coming in and out of a small sweets restaurant where a blond haired cheerful teenager worked hard. That girl is you.
You were a mess, flour on your hair, face and arms; chocolate vanilla and strawberry all over you, even some icing on your shoulder and cheek. But that didn’t stop yo from doing what you love
“Order!” That was Kei, your boss; he worked in the counter sometimes, like today. You quickened your pace, taking a couple of trays in your hands filled with desserts. You handed them to Kira, one of the waitresses.
She grinned and winked your way; you smiled and waved at her “Oi! Aiko-chan, today we’ll be closing early okay?” you smiled widely, today was a special day, it was May the first. You grinned
“Hai!” you continued mixing up spices and sweets to make the orders that came in the days. You were having a lot of fun, and at the same time, you felt troubled.

You stared blankly at your boss, who placed the keys to the establishment on your hand “Close up when you’re done okay?” you blushed a little “How did you-”
He cut you off, a kind and playful look on his face “I work around 4 girls, who do nothing but gossip, that’s how” you giggled at the face he made when he said gossip, he batted his eyes and held out his hand as if he was girly.
“All right, be careful now” he waved his hand and disappeared in a puff of smoke. You squealed and went inside, you were excited to begin your work for his birthday present.
Since it was 4 in the afternoon you figured you’d take about an hour to make the cake and about 30 to fix in nicely, then you’d give it to him and confess you feeling. Very cliché right?
You spent two hours baking the prefect cake; it was heart shaped, with a marmalade cover bellow, a vanilla base, chocolate covered and white chocolate icing flowers on top of the cake. You felt very satisfied with how it ended up looking
“Choji-kun is gonna love it!” you squealed and placed it, very carefully on a box with a black top, to keep it a surprise. You notice that you are still completely covered in flour and sugar.
“Kei-chan does have a shower up here.” You take of your clothes and toss them on a plastic bag, you are now fully naked parading around the shop.
You giggle at the thought of someone parading around naked. You quickly place the bag on the floor next to a counter where the Cake is, and head upstairs to shower.

You find an old shampoo and soap in there. You don’t mind it much, taking a quick cold shower, you dry yourself with one of the kitchens towels and realize you have no clothes
“I guess I could always borrow a waitress uniform from the café… im sure Kei-chan won’t mind” you smiled a little; you quickly put on your undergarments and searched for an extra uniform.
“Found one!” you took it, and tried it on, it was a little tight, but nothing you couldn’t handle. You fixed the bow on the back and quickly put on your shoes, taking the cake in your arms, you exited the shop, closing it.

You were smiling brightly ahead. Shikamaru and yourself had come up with a plan to surprise Choji. He’d take him to his favorite barbeque restaurant. And you’d pop over to give him dessert.
You entered the barbeque restaurant shyly, not knowing what to expect. You looked around trying to remain hidden, only to notice that both Shikamaru and Choji were not there.
You felt a hand on your shoulder, you turned around a bit frightened, only to see a friendly waitress “Are you Kibio, Akio-san?” you smiled and nodded
She smiled back and took out a piece of paper from her knee-length black skirt “Nara-san left this for you, he said it was important” you bowed a little, taking the paper from her exiting the restaurant.
You opened the note, unsure of what it would say
‘Hurry to the roof top -Shika’
You tossed the paper at the nearest garbage bin. Quickly making your way to the roof top where you had met Choji and Shikamaru. You were very excited, but at the same time, you felt kind of nervous.
You continued going as fast as you could, you quickly reached the place, climbing up the stairs, you tripped several times, but regained your balance quickly.
*This is it* you stood outside of the door, staring at it with a smile printed on your face; you reached for the handle and –BAM!. You dropped the cake and it rolled down the stairs, but you hadn’t noticed, you were to busy, holding on to you now reddened forehead.
You were sitting on one of the stairs “Akio?” it was Shikamaru, you looked up at him, with a slight smile. Choji poked his head from behind his shoulder “Akio-chan!”
Choji smiled your way, you blushed a little and stood up, Shikamaru went back out to the roof top, you got outside. Quickly dusting yourself of, you went over to Choji and hugged him “Happy Birthday Choji-kun!”
Choji smiled at you, hugging you back just as you hugged him “Akio-chan, you smell like sweets, but you brought none!” Choji joked a little. You looked at your arm and noticed the cake was not there anymore.
You turned around to see the box upside-down, you groaned a little, and went over to pick it up, taking it back over to Choji and Shikamaru. Shikamaru slapped his forehead, and Choji looked at you clueless
“Um... this was your birthday present Choji-kun, im sorry” he took the box from your hands, opening it, as if it was a bowl instead of the other way around.
Choji stuck a finger in it and took some cake, he licked his finger a little and then turned to you “Akio-chan! Arigato! This is great!” you blushed a little and smiled
“Really Choji-kun, you like it?” Choji nodded, taking a spoon from one of his pockets he began to chow down the cake. You smiled seeing him so happy, Shikamaru went behind you “Im leaving now, happy birthday Choji, see you later Akio”
He shoved you a little with his shoulder as he left, you looked back at him, he made sign, you blushed and nodded little “um... Choji-kun?”
Choji placed a lid on his cake, as if to say ‘im saving it for later’
He turned to you, you began to fiddle with your hands behind your back “Choji-kun... I...” Choji looked at you with a gentle smile, he hugged you suddenly, and you blushed bright red
“I like you too Akio” you felt yourself blush even more as you hugged him back. You two parted and you pecked him on the lips. You looked at him and went back to hugging him
