Revenge Isn't Always The Right Thing
Chapter 21 : Revenge Isn't Always The Right Thing
Alright, here it is, the FINAL chapter in Revenge Isn't Always The Right Thing. This is where the big battle between father and daughter takes place. I hope you enjoy it! I DO NOT OWN THE 'NARUTO' SERIES...but Tessaria and Dianatu are all mine!
Tessaria dodged her father’s quick attack by back flipping out of his way. The attack might have been quick, but it wasn’t very accurate. When Tessaria got out of the way, she immediately threw three shuriken at the man.
Before the small weapons could make contact, Dianatu substituted himself with a simple log. When the log hit the ground, so did Tessaria. She looked around, but her father was nowhere to be seen.
Damnit! Where the hell did that asshole go!?
Tessaria glared and looked around some more, but still, Dianatu wouldn’t show himself. "Peek-a-boo." A voice said, coming from Tessaria’s left. She quickly turned her head, but she didn’t see anybody.
Tessaria reached into her side pack and grabbed a kunai. "Alright Dianatu! Quit being a dumbass and show yourself!" She commanded.
Dianatu laughed. "No…you CAN see me." He said simply. "Just focus."
Tessaria had had it with her father’s games. "QUIT HIDING!" She yelled angrily.
"If you insist." Dianatu said and he appeared right in front of Tessaria. Right when he appeared, he punched his daughter in the face and she fell back. "Please," he said, "is that truly as strong as you are? Pathetic."
Tessaria glared and wiped the blood from her lip; she stood up and made the appropriate hand signs for a powerful jutsu. "Lightning Style: Thunder Field Jutsu!" She yelled. Right after she yelled the jutsu, Tessaria set the path in which the lightning would travel. In that path was exactly where Dianatu stood. As Dianatu dodged the lightning, more and more bolts followed the man.
There’s no way he’ll be able to dodge all the bolts. The path is set to follow him…
When the bolts hit Dianatu, Tessaria realized how much chakra that move had used; her breathing started to speed up and get deeper. When her chakra had gotten as low as she would allow it, she canceled the Thunder Field Jutsu and fell to her knees.
Dianatu was extremely exhausted and beat up, but he was still on his feet. "Impressive." He said simply and straightened himself up. "But I’M still standing." He said and made mysterious hand signs. "Dark Art: Black Depths." He said simply.
Suddenly, a black darkness surrounded Tessaria’s weak form. Unable to move quick enough, Tessaria was caught in the jutsu.
SHIT! What’s going to happen!? I can’t—
Before Tessaria could finish her thought, she flew back because of an unknown force. When she regained her balance, she was sent back again by the same force. "Well Tessaria…I must say, it was nice seeing you for a whole ten minutes." Dianatu said. "But now…I’m afraid it’s time for you to join your mother." He finished.
Right after he said those words, Tessaria spotted a silhouette of a winged creature. Suddenly there was a high-pitched call that came from the creature. When the call had been made, the creature came flying at an unsuspecting Tessaria.
When it reached her, she felt sharp pains through her already aching body. She recognized the pains as scratches from the winged creature. Tessaria couldn’t spot the creature, so she made the hand signs for "Kunai Clone Jutsu." Not wasting a second, Tessaria threw a poison-dipped kunai in one direction, and exact clones were created and flew in all other directions. She was relieved when she heard a high-pitched cry of pain.
That poison should kill that damn creature.
After a few seconds, the darkness lifted and Tessaria was back in the forest, face-to-face with Dianatu. He had a look of shock on his face, "How were you—nobody’s ever survived that jutsu!" He yelled.
Tessaria looked up at her father angrily and wiped some blood from her face. "Nobody but me." She said and grabbed out three shuriken and threw them at him. Since he was so shocked at Tessaria’s survival, he didn’t have time to dodge the attack, so the three shuriken landed in his legs.
Now’s my chance to launch this jutsu…I just hope I have enough chakra to do so…
Tessaria straightened herself up and smirked at her father. "I have a special surprise for you, DADDY!" She yelled and made the hand signs to a jutsu she had been saving just for Dianatu. "Dark Art: Black-out Suffering Jutsu." She said, the smirk still plastered on her face.
Dianatu’s green eyes went wide as a darkness surrounded him and Tessaria. Suddenly a wooden board came up from behind him, and his ankles and wrists were held to the board by metal cuffs. "What!?" He exclaimed in surprised fear.
Tessaria laughed evilly. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. That was quite clumsy of you, being caught off guard like that." She said, making it seem like she was coming from everywhere.
Dianatu looked around frantically in search for his attacker. "Where are you!?" He yelled in fear.
Tessaria laughed again. "Are you scared?" She asked and appeared in front of her father, with three shuriken in each of her hands. "Look up to your left." She said and saw her father obey. "Do you see that hourglass? That’s as long as you have to live." She said and smiled evilly at her father. "It’s time for me to accomplish what I’ve been wanting to for years." She said and lifted her hands, readying herself to throw the shuriken. "IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO DIE!" She yelled and threw the six, specially dipped shuriken at her defenseless father, purposely missing his vital spots. "IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO FEEL WHAT I FELT LIKE GROWING UP KNOWING THAT YOU KILLED MOM! I’M GOING TO FINISH YOU HERE AND NOW!" She screamed and threw six more shuriken at Dianatu, once again avoiding his vital spots.
Finally…afterall theseyears…the time has finally come.
Tessaria glared when she noticed that the poison had begun to do it’s job. "Goodbye, Dianatu." She said angrily. "Do you have anything to say?" She asked, the anger still clear in her voice.
Dianatu lifted his head and looked his daughter in the eyes. "Thank you, Tess." He said and a smile played across his lips. "Thank you so much…" He said once again.
Huh!? Why is he thanking me!? It doesn’t make since!
Tessaria glanced at the hourglass, then to her dying father. "You’ve got 90 seconds. Explain." She commanded.
Dianatu looked at the hourglass, then dropped his head again. "90 seconds, huh?" He asked and sighed. "Tess…I never wanted to kill Sayami." He said weakly. "I loved her."
Tessaria glared as much as she could. "THEN WHY!?" She yelled.
Dianatu kept his eyes glued to the ground. "It wasn’t me." He said. "I was being controlled by Unohaiti…he has the power to control the weak of mind. HE killed your mother…that’s why I left the village…I didn’t want to risk getting you killed." He said and lifted his head and made eye contact with his confused daughter. "No matter what you think…I DO love you Tessaria. You and Sayami were the two best things that ever happened to me." He said and Tessaria risked a look at the hourglass: 30 seconds was all. "Up until the death…you were the best thing that ever happened in my life." He said and quickly changed the subject. "The Lanugan…remember the Lanugan." He said and his head fell limp. "Goodbye…Tessaria…I’ll always love you. Thank you for ending my miserable life." He said and his green eyes closed, and that was the end of Dianatu.
When Dianatu’s life had ended, the darkness subsided and Tessaria returned to the forest. When everything disappeared, Tessaria fell to her knees. Were the past two years of her life just wasted? If she wasn’t training to kill Dianatu…then who WAS she training to kill?
Tessaria knew that her mission for revenge wasn’t over yet. She KNEW that she had to avenge Zani and Tiamo as well, but she didn’t know who was responsible for their deaths. Suddenly it hit her: Unohaiti. Unohaiti was the one she was TRULY training to kill, HE was responsible for her mother’s death, and something told Tessaria that HE was also responsible for the deaths of Zani and Tiamo…she just knew it.

Note From The Authoress: Ta-da! That's the end of my story! Wasn't it nice of me to end it with a 'To Be Continued...'? I know how much somepeople hate that. So yeah...Dianatu wasn't the one who actually killed Tessaria's mother, Sayami, everything revolved around that damned Unohaiti. Tessaria is now pissed and has her sights seton the death of Unohaiti. If you're one of the ones who read ALL THE WAY through this story and enjoyed it, let me just say thanks and I'm in the process of the second story...I just hope I can come up with a good title for it.
To all you romance lovers: I'm so mean, aren't I? All of that romantic tension between Kankuro and Tessaria and no kiss! HeeHee...you just learned how I do things! I enjoy making people get excited for a HUGE make-out scene and I never do it...not until the last story...I never can write just ONE story, I always make sequels.
I hope to finish my second story sometime soon and get it posted up here. If you're looking forward to it, just keep checking in with me. Also, if there's something you think would be fun for the second one, message me and let me know, that would be very helpful. Another thing: message me and tell me what you thought about the WHOLE story, I'd like to know what you all thought. ^-^
Thanks For Reading,
