I wanted to love you ♥

“Hey are you Emma?” on of the guys (I think) from Menudo asked me.

“That’s me.” I said a little bit shy I couldn’t help it. I’m not the most social person around.

“I’m Carlos.”

“Menudo right?”

“Yeah it’s me, Emmanuel, Monti, Jose, and then Chris. He said pointing to each member.

“Okay just making sure. I’m really bad at remembering names and who is in what band.”

“Yeah Travis mentioned that ahead of time just incase we got offended.” He said laughing.

“That sounds like something he’d do.”

“Yeah all of the NLT guys have been telling us stories about all the trouble you get them and yourself into.”

“Really.” Note to self: Kill Travis, JJ, Kevin, and V. After their show.

“Hey! Emma right?” one of the other members of Menudo walked up to us Jose? Yeah I think that was his name. I nodded. “So you’re the one that went trick or treating in July.”

“Yeah Travis dared me and I never turn down a dare.”

“We were wondering if you could help us with something. Maybe if you could help us out with a prank?”

“It depends ….on who?”

“NLT.” The said smiling

I thought about it for a moment. And an evil smile spread across my face. “Ill do it.”

“Yes!” they said giving each other high fives. The door opened up behind me and the guys walked in. They stopped when they saw me talking to Jose and Carlos.

“Kevin do you see what I see?” Travis asked

“I-I think I do little ms. anti-social Emma Johnson actually talking to people she just met!”

Travis pretended to wipe tears away from his eyes. “I’m so proud my girls growing up!” he said before engulfing me in a huge bear hug.

“Get off me you mush!” I said trying to pry him off. Everyone in the room was cracking up. After a couple minutes of me struggling to get him off he finally let go.

“So what were you guys talking about?”

“Ummm….” I said trying to think of something.

“Football.” Carlos said jumping in.

V started to laugh really hard. “Yeah right Em doesn’t know a thing about sports especially football.”

“That’s a lie I know plenty.”

“Okay then, name a team member on the Dallas Cowboys.” JJ asked me.

“Tony Romo.”

“One that isn’t dating Jessica Simpson.”

“I don’t wanna.” I whined they all looked at me suspiciously

“Sooner or later we will find out.” Travis warned us.

“Fair enough.” I said smiling.

“I know that smile nothing good has ever come out of that smile.” Travis said looking a little afraid. “What are you up to?”

I was saved when the road manager burst through the door.

“Okay guys. Start getting ready. It’s almost time to start.” The guys started to get up “You” she said pointing to me. “You can go take your seat.” She walked away from me.

I turned towards the guys “she’s a charmer alright.”

“Be nice Em.” Travis warned me.

“Aren’t I always?” he gave me a look. “Shut up.” I said laughing giving him a hug. “Good luck.” I said as I hugged the rest of NLT

“Good luck guys!” I yelled to the rest of the room. I got a couple of thanks because most of them were getting ready and were in their ‘performing mode.’

I walked out the door and down the hall toward the room where the guys were performing. They had already started to let in all the girls who were anxiously waiting for the show to start.

A half and hour later the lights went down and the bandemonium show had begun. all of the guys were AMAZING. And all the fans let them know with there screams and shouts of approval getting louder by the song. By the time the show ended 2 hours later. And I was 99% sure I was never going to get my hearing back. The room was emptying out. All the girls were eager to get in line for the meet and greet. I ran backstage bursting through the door.

“How the hell do you do that every night?!!?” they all burst into laughter.

“So I take it you liked the show?” Travis asked me.

“WHAT?” I screamed the ringing in my ear getting annoyingly louder by the minute.

“DID YOU LIKE THE SHOW?” he half yelled at me.

“THE SHOW?”

“Yes!”

“OH it was great you guys rocked it!”

“Okay good.” He said

“Huh?”

“GOOD”

“Travis I just got a look at our future when were old…..it’s not pretty.”

He pulled me into a hug.

“Well lets just hope were still pretty.” I hugged him back. “Now sadly I have to go.”

“No.” he said still holding on.

“I have school.”

“So?”

“As much as I would love to drop out or skip school. I made a promise to my dad that I wouldn’t miss more school. He’s already threatening to send me to catholic school.”

“Fine.” He said letting me go.

I turned to Kevin “Keys please!!” he reluctantly let handed them over

“Be careful.” He warned me.

“No promises.” I smiled talking the keys from him.

“V!” I shouted turning to him and pulling him into a hug. “Ill miss you!!” he hugged me back “we will see you soon.”

“You better or I’m hunting you down.”

Finally I turned to JJ he hugged me tight

“Call us as soon as you get home so we know that you didn’t get yourself or anyone else killed.”

“JJ I’m drowning in your confidence in me. Nice to see you trust me.”

“I’m just watching out for you kid.”

“I’m not a kid.” I said glaring

“Oh and one more thing.” I said as I walked over to Carlos.

“Ill text you with my football plans.” I said handing him a piece of paper with my number on it.

“Sweet.”

“Bye guys.” I said waving goodbye one last time. Before walking out the door. But before the door shut I distinctly heard Travis ask

“What football plans?

I laughed all the way to my car.♥♥♥♥♥
