Revenge Isn't Always The Right Thing

Kankuro paced back and forth angrily. Why the hell would Tessaria leave RIGHT after him, Mikia, and Temari found her!? Was it possible that Tessaria didn’t WANT to be with them? "But why?" He asked nobody.

What could we have possibly done to make her WANT to leave the village? We always treated her so well…

Kankuro growled in impatient anger and punched the trunk of the tree next to him, HARD. When he felt his knuckles begin to bleed again he looked at them, but immediately dropped his arms to his sides. "We might as well just leave. I don’t think she cares about ANYTHING anymore."

Kankuro shook his head and walked away from the large tree. When he approached Mikia and Temari, the two girls seemed to be confused.

Temari arched an eyebrow. "Kankuro…where’s Tess?" She asked her younger brother.

Right when Kankuro opened his mouth to speak Mikia cut him off. "The stupid girl probably just up and left!" She yelled loudly. "So can we just go already!?"

At this point, Kankuro’s anger had hit its limit. He grabbed Mikia by the shirt and pulled her up to look him right in the eye. "LISTEN!" He screamed loudly and full of anger. "WE’RE GOING TO KEEP GOING AFTER TESS UNTIL SHE GIVES UP ON THE REVENGE SHIT! YOU GOT THAT!?"

MIKIA! You better fucking quit pissing me off! Cuz next time I might not be able to stop myself from killing you!

Mikia didn’t seem the least bit scared, she just seemed pissed. She swatted Kankuro’s hand away violently and glared daggers at her cousin. "No…YOU LISTEN!" She screamed. "You’ve become way too obsessed with Tessaria’s retrieval! Until you calm the hell down I’M GOING TO QUIT HELPING YOU!" She yelled and got right in Kankuro’s face. "From now on…YOU BETTER START SEARCHING!" She finished and disappeared in a puff of white smoke.

Kankuro clenched his aching fists and sat on the ground, against a tree trunk. Temari seemed worried about her brother, so she knelt down to his sitting height. "Kankuro…what was all that about?" She asked.

Kankuro shook his head. "Not even I know what that was about." He said and sighed. "Temari…do you think Mikia had a point?"

Temari sighed and nodded slowly. "I do, honestly." She said. "Since Tess disappeared…you’ve slowly become obsessive with finding her." She explained. "I think that you need to take some time to calm down and make-up with Mikia. THEN we can look for Tess again, ok?"

Kankuro nodded in annoyance. "Yeah…whatever." He mumbled quietly.

That’s probably the best advice Temari’s ever given me…

Kankuro rested his head against the tree trunk and let out a relieving sigh. "Damnit Tessaria…you piss me off so much." He said and shook his head. "What the hell have you done with yourself?" He questioned and remained silent and deep in thought.

Tessaria, Tiamo and Zani had stopped for a break. The group of three had been walking constantly for the past couple of hours, and Zani was on the verge of collapsing. Zani breathed heavily and fell to her knees then to her stomach. "Yay! We FINALLY get to take a breather." She said and rested her head on the ground.

Tessaria shook her head at her friend’s childish antics. "Zani…you’re even more pathetic than I thought." She said and rested her back against a tree. She stayed there for a minute with her eyes closed. When she opened them she was shocked to see Tiamo ALSO laying on the dirty ground.

What the hell? Tiamo isn’t pathetic like that…he’s always been able to keep up with me…

"Heey! MEANIE!" Zani yelled, still resting on her stomach, low on breath.

Tiamo was on his back, so he looked up at Tessaria. "I know." He said quietly. "But something about this forest…I dunno…I just need to rest for a minute." He said and closed his amazing, blue eyes.

Something’s wrong…now that I think about it, neither of those two would be so weak. The three of us went through the same training and they were never tired…

For a long while, Tiamo and Zani rested comfortably and undisturbed. Then, all of the sudden, the two siblings woke up at the same time. The sudden awakening startled Tessaria. "It’s about time you guys woke up…I was beginning to—"

Tessaria got cut off by the deep, painful-sounding coughing of her friends. "Tess…I…can’t—" Zani started to say in between coughs.

Tiamo was also coughing loudly. "Some…thing…is—" Tiamo couldn’t finish his sentence before the two siblings fell to the ground, still coughing madly.

Tessaria’s light green eyes went wide when the two of them fell to the ground. "What’s wrong, guys!?" She asked in panic. Suddenly the coughing stopped and the two siblings silenced, and their breathing stopped. Tessaria let out an out-of-character gasp of fear. "TIAMO! ZANI!" She yelled and scrambled over to them.

She reached Zani first and picked up the 11 year old girl’s head and rested it on her lap. "Zani…hey…wake up…" Tessaria begged, but didn’t receive even the slightest movement from the little girl. She, then, checked Zani’s pulse, but she got nothing. The 11 year old girl was gone.

Tessaria felt tears roll down her face and removed Zani’s head from her lap. Then, she made her way over to Tiamo. "Tiamo…please…wake up…" She begged, but she already knew that he was gone…along with his sister.

I can’t believe this...

The crying only lasted for a short time, then Tessaria just became angry. She, then, stood up from the ground and ran away from the death scene. Suddenly the confused and angry girl came to a complete halt and fell to the ground crying again.

"WHY!?" She screamed as loud as she could. "WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT TO KILL THEM!?" She asked, still screaming loudly.

Zani…Tiamo…I can’t understand why…it’s so unfair! They didn’t deserve that!

Suddenly there was a large gust of wind, then a man appeared right in front her. Right when their eyes made contact, Tessaria recognized the man; she suddenly forgot her sadness and replaced it with the most anger a 16 year old girl could produce. "DIANATU!" She screamed at her father.

Dianatu laughed like a madman. "Shouldn’t you address me properly?" He asked. "I AM your father, and there’s nothing you can FUCKING DO ABOUT IT!" He yelled and lunged at his daughter. The big fight had officially started, and Tessaria was looking forward to it…

Note From The Authoress: Hiya! So...Tess and her Daddy meet at last! The battle's about to begin...are you prepared? HeeHee...I hope so cuz I'm sure ready to share it with you! Anyways...I know the deaths of Tiamo and Zani were rather rushed, and not really focussed on...I'm sorry about that. To be honest: I really didn't plan on killing the two of them off...it just kinda happened. You'd figure that Tessaria would be more upset about this, huh? Well...she was pissed, but everything was forgotten when her 'Target' showed up.
Well...the next chapter finishes the story, it's the battle against Dianatu. It's actually kinda surprising what happens. HeeHee...if you message and rate, I'd be pleased!
