I was sitting in the Hokages office waiting for my new team to come in when I heard a bottle being opened.

"Do you drink a lot Lady Tsunade?" I asked

"No not to much." she responded

I smiled then heard the door open. I heard four pairs of feet enter the room then stop at the Hokages desk.

"Ah team 7! I want you to meet your new teammate, Katerina." The Hokage said

"Nice to meet you." I said while looking toward the desk

"I'm your sensei Kakashi Hakate." Said a man. I heard him move forward and I looked where he would be.

"He's holding out his hand." Tsunade said

"Oh sorry!" I said and held my hand out in front of me. I felt him take it and we shook.

"This is Naruto." Said Kakshi

"Hello!" Said a boy happily

"I'm Sakura." said a girl

"Sasuke...Uchiha." said another boy.

Nice to meet you." I said while looking towards the door.

"You have a guest Lady Hokage." I said and a knock was heard

"Come in!" Tsunade said. The door opened and I heard someone walk in.

"Well Katerina do you want to go train?" Kakashi said

"Sure Kakashi-sensei." I said and stood up. I heard Kakashi's heavier footsteps leave the room and I followed. When they stopped I shifted my foot and heard dirt.

"Is this the training grounds?" I asked

"Its the middle of the village." Sakura said

"Oh its just so quiet so I didnt know." I said

"What are you blind or something?" I heard Sasuke say from behind me. I whirled around and bumped into him. My sunglasses fell off and dropped on the ground.

"Shit!" I said and kneeled down. I ran my hands over the dirt trying to find them. I felt rocks and a piece of paper but no sunglasses.

"Umm Sasuke is trying to hand them to you." Naruto said.I looked up and waved my hand in the air.

"Where?" I asked. I felt someone put my glasses in my hand and take my chin.

"You'e blind." Sasuke said

"Thanks for the update, I didnt realize it." I said sarcastically

"Why are you a ninja then?" Sakura asked

"To prove I can do things that other people can do." I said

"Well lets put that to the test. Follow us to the training grounds!" Kakasi said.It sounded like he was smiling. He ran off and I followed just as fast. I could tell it surprised everyone else. Once Kakashi stopped I did a flip over him.

"Well Sakura how about you fight with Katerina?" Kakashi said

"Kat if you please." I said and pulled out a kunia.

"Alrigght Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura said and came towards me. I smirked at her loud footsteps. I heard her throw a kunia and I dodged it. I ran at her and sliced her arm a bit.

"Alright no more going easy on me." I said. Then she really tried. But in the end I won.

"Naruto?" Kakshi said and Naruto attacked. I won that match too.

"Sasuke?" Kakashi said

"No." Sasuke said from about 10 feet to my left

"Why not?" I asked him

"I'm not fighting a blind girl." he said

"Chicken." I muttered

"Well then training os over. Did you need help getting to your housse?" Kakashi asked

"Sure." I said and told him the address.

"That's my house!" Naruto said

"Oh well then Naruto can show you where it is." Kakashi said.

"Yeah come on Kat!" Naruto said and dragged me towards his house.

*2 months later*

"Good job Kat, that's the tenth time you've defeted Sasuke this week!" Naruto shouted.

"Hey you ok Sasuke?" I asked and held my hand out to where Sasuke fell.

"Fine." he muttered and grabbed my hand. I pulled him to his feet and turned towards Kakashi

"What next Kakashi-sensei?" I asked

"I think you guys are ready for the Chunnin exams." he said

"Do you think you could stop reading while you talk to us?" I said

"How did you know he was reading?" Sakura asked

"His voice pattern." I said with a shrug

"Weirdo." Sasuke said with his smirk. How did I know he was smirking you ask? Because his voice gets a twinge of smugness in it.

"Shut up Uchiha." I said

"Well you guys can sign up for the exams tomorrow. Training is over you can go home." Kakashi said and I felt his chakra presense disappear.

"Het Naruto, race ya to the ramen bar!" I shouted and took off. I know knew the village like the back of my eyelids and always won.

"Hey no fair Kat!" Naruto shouted and ran after me.

I laughed and kept running. Until I ran into some one.

"Oh sorry I didnt see you!" I said with a smile at my little joke.

The person stayed silent. I jumped up and stuck my hand out to help the person up. I heard several people gasp. After a couple of seconds I sighed and grabbed a hand that I heard move on the grond. I pulled the person up and I heard something move. It sounded like...sand?

"Dont touch me or I'll kill you." A voice said darkly

"Its not like I have germs dude." I said

I felt something wrap around my legs and I reached down.

"Is this sand?" I asked as I felt the grainy texture

"Who are you and why are you not scared of me?" the guy I knocked over said

"My name is Kat and I have no reason to fear you." I said

"I'm Gaara and if you ever touch me again I'll kill you." He said and walked off.The sand disappeared from my legs and I shrugged.

"Odd people everywhere." I said and ran towards the ramen bar.
