Vampire Kisses-Face Down-Chapter 1
Chapter 8 : Vampire Kisses-The One I gave my Heart To-Chapter Eight
im sorry i dont think this is a very good chapter!!!! but i will try to do better next time :)
Good Going Krystal. I sighed deeply, knowing that I had hurt my only living relative. Wow I was sure smart today. Groaning, I placed my hand on the doorknob when two arms wrapped themselves around my waist.
“Where do you think you’re going?” I half shrugged. “C’mon.” He led me to the living room. “We need to talk.”
“You heard the fight didn’t you?”
Aiden’s lips twitched into a broken grin.
“Well it was kinda hard not to hear.” We both sank down into the couch and Aiden’s face became more serious.
“Well do you want to know why your brother left?” I nodded.
“Okay you do have the right to know. First of all your father was a powerful visionary, one of the last. When he didn’t cooperate with Vladimir, he was killed.” I put my hands up to stop him.
“Wait what? And first of all what’s a visionary?”
“A visionary is like a physic, except their visions come on dreams. You family has a very powerful line of visionaries. Anyway when Vladimir found out your father had children, he was determined to kill them all. He found your brother, but did not about you until…until you met me.” I tapped my fingers along the table. “Umm okay if this is some kind of joke or lie to get Adrian out of telling me, it isn’t working.” I rose to my feet.
“I know you’ve had them.” I internally winced.
“What are you talking about?” Aiden grasped my shoulders and spun me to face him. “The dreams. The nightmares. You scream in the middle of the night and you gasp for air. You weep and you once you even stopped breathing.” My eyes widened a little. “H-how do you know that?”
“You look like all them. Eyes wide open and rolled back so only the whites are showing; trembling all over.” I remembered seeing my father like before he left, or was killed. His watch beeped and he let me go. “Sorry. I uh have to go.” I stared at the wood floor and heard him leave. Slowly, I trudged into the kitchen to find Collin on the floor unconscious. Oh my god. I ran to him and patted his cheek. “Collin? Collin you need to get up.” He wasn’t breathing. Okay calm down Krystal, Calm down. Was it just me or was Collin turning a deep shade of blue? Flipping out my cell phone I dialed 911. “Hello 911 what’s your emergency?” The dispatcher spoke loudly. Are those horns on Collins head? “Hello?” I shook my head and turned my attention back to the phone. “Uh yes I need an ambulance-‘’’
A blue hand grabbed the phone and snapped it shut. Sitting in front of me was Collin, but he was blue and had scales and…horns. His fingers curled around the phone and crunched it into to dust. My cell phone lay in his hand, a tiny pile of grayish-red crumbs. Collin moved a little and jumped back. I ran from the kitchen barely catching his pleas. “No wait.” I yanked the book back and sprinted down the hallway until I came to the waterfall. I sat on the edge of a tiny cliff and brought my knees up to my chest and scrunched my eyes closed. I must have fallen asleep because I had another dream, or “vision”. I was standing in a white room; A really bright white room. Sam was in front of me, a sheepish smile plastered on her face. A vampire appeared next to her and slowly drug on of his long clawed fingernails across her neck. Blood stained her neck and she crumpled to the floor. I tried to run to her, to call her name, but the white room starting cracking and the ground shook. It opened up underneath me and I was swallowed into a dark abyss. I’m falling. I really was falling.
Opening my eyes, white water came to meet me as I plunged head first into the water. I couldn’t move. Not my legs, my arms; I was paralyzed by the sting of icy water. I let out my last breath; and gave up…on everything.
Lips where forced upon mine and air filled my lungs. Two fingers pinched my nose. Another puff of air expanded them. I forced myself to take a breath, even thought it was painful. Shooting upright, Aiden patted my back and I coughed up water. He removed his jacket and wrapped around my shoulders. Aiden carried me back to the living room and I sat in a trance. With a worried look he left the room and crept up the stairs to Collin’s room. I could hear them fighting.
“Why didn’t you go after her?” Aiden shouted. “I thought she wanted to be alone.” “Time alone? You could have killed her!” A pause. “It would have been better if she was gone.” Collin was right. It would be better for both of them if I just left. Standing I scribbled a quick note on a piece of scrap paper.
Aiden, Collin is right.
It would be best if I did leave.
Thank you for all you have
Done for me and I will never
Stop loving you. Forget me,
But I will never forget you.
-Krystal
I set it down where Aiden’s car keys should have been and shut the door to the mansion as quietly as possible.
