Looks Can Be Deceiving 3 (Kajimoto)

Sadaharu had everyone doing some drills and he had another new drink. I personally think his drinks are really good, and so does Syusuke. maybe it's just us. It can't run in the family because Yuuta doesn't like it. I won't dare try it on Yumiko, my aunt, and my uncle. Sadaharu gave me a book of recipes for all of his drinks, and it's a binder with those plastic sheet things to put papers in, because everytime he thinks of another recipe, I can add it to the book. I went into the girls locker room and changed (into a tennis outfit). When I got out, I saw everyone but Tezuka and Syusuke on the ground basically dying. I went to every single person and told each of them something that would het them to wake up. For example, I told Momo that if he didn't wake up, the rest of us would eat everything at Taka-san's dad's restaurant and leave nothing for him. As soon as everyone was up, we continued practice. Practice ended and instead of changing back into my uniform, I changed into a light blue tennis outfit that had some red and black on it.

Takahisa-kun and I were planning on playing tennis and then having dinner. "Do you want Yumiko and me to drop you off?" Syusuke asked. "No, it's ok. I'll walk, but can you guys pick me up later?" I asked. "Sure. Just call whenever you need a ride," he replied. "Ok. If anyone asks, I'm going to visit an old friend. Just so you know, we're going to reveal our secret during the Kantou regionals, and Mitsu-kun knows, but he doesn't know who," I told him. He nodded, and I ran off. I got on the bus that went closest to Takahisa-kun's house. When the bus stopped, I got off and walked to Takahisa-kun's house which was about two blocks away. I got to the house and knocked on the door. Takahisa-kun opened the door, and when he saw me he said, "Hi. Um, my friends are here, are you sure you want to come in?" "Uh, yeah, I'll come in. If we tell YOUR friends now, it'll just make it easier at the Kantou regionals, or maybe I'll just tell MY friends tomorrow, when you come over," I said. He smiled and let me in. I walked into the living room and saw a group of people and they all turned to me. "Um, hello. My name is Fuji Amaya, but you can just call me Amaya. It's nice to finally meet you," I introduced myself with my meeting-new-people-shyness kicking in. An orange haired guy came and started hitting on me and because of my shyness, I just called for Takahisa-kun and he came running in the room, so I hid behind him. "What happened?" he asked. "Flirty over there was hitting on Amaya-san," a blue haired guy said. "Who is she anyway?" a magenta/pink/purple haired guy asked (I swear, I thought the twins were girls at first, but then their voices and the fact that their tennis outfits had shorts instead of skirts made me realize they're boys). Everyone looked at Takahisa-kun expectantly. "She's my girlfriend," Takahisa-kun said. His friends seemed to be in shock because their eyes were wide and their mouths were hanging open. I waved my hand in front of each of their faces and nobody snapped out of it. "So you wanna just leave and go play tennis now?" I asked Takahisa. That got everyone listening. "I wanna see you play! Let's see how you do against buchou!" the orange haired guy said. "Sure, but first you have to introduce yourselves," I said. I learned that the guy that was hitting on me was named Wakato. The twin with the blue hair was Kouhei and the other one was Youhei. The short kid was Oota, the muscular guy was Kiriyama, and the tall guy's name was Shinjyo. We went to the nearest tennis courts and Takahisa-kun and I took our places on the court. Takahisa-kun won the game (7-5). I didn't completely play my hardest because I didn't wanna show everyone my special moves. (Why would I want to show another school's team when my school has only seen like half of my techniques?). After the game, we decided to go eat some dinner. By now, it was dark out. We all went to a restaurant together and had a great time hanging out together. After dinner, we got ice cream (Takahisa-kun never let me pay for anything T_T), and went back to his house. At Takahisa-kun's house, we decided to watch a scary movie. Wakato, being the idiot that he is, tried to suggest watching 'Scary Movie 1', and the second and third ones. "You DO know that those are comedies, right?" I asked the dumb*ss (ok, I cuss SOMETIMES). We ended up watching all three of them anyway. By the end of the third movie, I was asleep.

*Takahisa's POV*

By the end of the third movie, Amaya-chan was asleep. I looked and saw her asleep in my lap. I smiled and Youhei said, "Shouldn't you wake her up so she can go home?" "No. She'll sleep over. I just have to call her family," I told him. I carried Amaya-chan bridal style to the guest room and called Syusuke to tell him Amaya fell asleep and I didn't want to wake her up. He said ok and I went back downstairs. My team was there waiting and I asked if they wanted to sleep over. The twins and Wakato did, but the rest said they lived close enough, so they went home. I gave the twins and Wakato some pillows and blankets and they immediately fell asleep.

*My POV*

*the next morning (Saturday)*

I woke up and looked around, I remembered last night and I guessed that when I fell asleep, Takahisa-kun took me to the guest room and called Syusuke. I went downstairs and found three of his friends asleep. I went to the kitchen and made breakfast for Takahisa-kun, his friends, and his parents. I made bacon, eggs, french toast, and pancakes. Of course, I didn't make too much or that would be a waste of food. Everyone woke up and we all had breakfast together while having conversations with each other. Takahisa-kun's friends left and we told his parents that he was coming over to 'my house'. I called Syusuke and told him not to pick me up. Takahisa-kun and I took a bus. When we got to the Fuji household, we greeted Syusuke. My aunt and uncle were away visiting a friend two cities away, Yuuta hasn't come back yet for winter break, and Yumiko was out with her friends. Syusuke said the regulars were coming over, so Takahisa-kun and I went upstairs, where we would stay until our guests came. In my room, I was lucky because he never found my Christmas present. We weren't in the room long before we heard the doorbell ring. We heard Syusuke let them all in and then they said they should come up and try to scare me. I told Takahisa-kun to stay in my bed and pretend he's asleep while I hide, and when the regulars come up to scare me, I'll scare them instead. Takahisa-kun made sure he was completely covered so they would still think I was the one asleep since they didn't know I didn't come home the night before. So, when the regulars came in, I saw them through the crack between the doors of my closet. I could tell Syusuke knew what was going to happen, so he played along. Syusuke and Kunimitsu stayed by the door: Syusuke because he knew what was going on, and Kunimitsu because he didn't want to get involved. Momo uncovered the blankets and Kikumaru screamed, "Oh no! Amaya-chan has turned into a boy!" I took this as my cue, jumped out and scared them. You should have seen their faces, Syusuke, Takahisa, and I were laughing our heads off. Mitsu-kun had his normal emotionless face, and the rest of the regulars had a look of pure shock on their faces. Eiji soon recovered, glomped me, and said, "Amaya-chan! You're not a guy!" The rest of us got a sweatdrop at his... um... weirdness. We all went downstairs and Ishi-kun (Oishi) asked, "Amaya-chan, would you care to introduce us to your friend here?" "Oh yeah! I almost forgot! This is Kajimoto Takahisa, buchou for the Jyousei Shounan tennis club, and, well..." I trailed off at the end, but Takahisa-kun saved me and finished for me saying, "I'm her boyfriend." Everyone had that shocked look on their faces, except for Syusuke and Kunimitsu 'cause they knew about it. Then Momo started laughing. We all turned to him and he said, while still laughing, "You couldn't get Tezuka-buchou, so you went for another school's buchou! I didn't know you were THAT desperate for a boyfriend Amaya-sempai!" I glared, and Momo was the only that didn't see it, so he's the only one that didn't back away. I walked up to him, still glaring, and said with venom dripping from every word, "I'll give you one chance to take that back, or else." He was still laughing when he said, "Or else what? You can't do anything to me!" I smirked and said, "You'd better learn to sleep with your eyes open. After all, I live with Syusuke. You never know what I can do. You don't even know half of my tennis moves." He stood there for a second, then dropped to his knees and started begging for forgiveness. I told him it was too late and he started crying. I suddenly smiled and cheerfully said, "Just kidding!" He looked at me and blinked, then started yelling at me about how it wasn't funny. I got an idea. I winked at everyone while Momo wasn't looking, dropped to my knees and started 'crying'. Takahisa-kun came and hugged me while rubbing my back and saying, "Shhh. It's ok. I'm here." Kunimitsu said Momo was going to have to run 100 laps when we got back to school. The regulars all looked at Momo like they were disappointed with him. He looked down shamefully and said, "I'm sorry Amaya-chan. I didn't mean it." I smiled with my face still in Takahisa-kun's chest and pretended to say I forgave him as if I just stopped crying. I sniffed and looked up. I pretended to wipe my eyes (but I really rubbed them so they would turn red) so he would think I was really crying. "Amaya-chan," Takahisa-kun started. "Yeah?" I asked. "Well, all your friends know me, but I don't know your friends," he told me. "Oh yeah! Ok. There's Tezuka Kunimitsu. He's our buchou. This is Oishi Shuchiro (sp?), our fukubuchou (sp?), and Eiji Kikumaru, the acrobatic, and energetic one that plays with me when I'm bored. Eiji-kun and Oishi-kun make Seigaku's golden pair. Inui Sadaharu, our data collector, is now a trainer since Ryoma-kun beat him out of the regulars. This short guy over here is Echizen Ryoma, the only freshman to make it onto the regulars. Kawamura Takashi is the shy guy. Hey that rhymes! Anyway, Taka-san's dad. Owns a sushi restaurant. The guy that made me cry is Momoshiro Takeshi. Momo picks figts a lot, especially with Kamio Akira from Fudomine and Kaido Kaoru, which is the guy with the bandana," I said quickly while pointing to each regular as I introduced them. The regulars looked at me lost, except, of course, Sysuke and Takahisa, 'cause they're used to me doing things like this, and Tezuka, because, well, he's Tezuka. "Ok. I got it," Takahisa-kun said nodding. After everyone recovered from their shock, again, Inui wrote down everything that happened from when they came into the house to what was happening now. He started to record everything he learned that was even remotely/relatively related to my relationship with Takahisa. They regulars seemed to guess that Takahisa-kun and Syusuke-kun only understood all that because they were used to me talking like that. That day, Takahisa-kun got to know the regulars better.
