I woke up and unlike last time I knew exactly what was going on. I looked over and saw an empty space next to me. I stood slowly. Combing though my long and tangled hair with my fingers. I sadly looked down at my dress and saw what I already knew, it was ruined. My pretty two hundred dollar dress, my mother was going to kill me.
Leaving my heels on the floor I walked out into the main room. Caden was sitting on the couch, only half watching the t.v. He turned around when he heard my close the door.
“Hey, you’re finally up.” he remarked.
“What time is it?” I asked sitting down on the opposite side of the couch as far away from him as possible.
Caden glanced briefly at the t.v which was on some news channel. “Eleven forty-two.”
“Wow, it’s early.”
“Early? I tried to wake you up three hours ago and you attacked me!” Caden said glaring at me.
“I did?” I asked a smile starting to form.
“Yes,” Caden scowled, “look, I’ve got a scratch from your nails” he pointed to a spot right below his left eye where sure enough there was a tiny red line.
“Hm, I don’t recall doing that.” I said my smile getting bigger.
“Yeah well, if it becomes infected I’m holding you responsible.” I giggles, then abruptly stopped remembering that this guy had kidnaped me.
“So, it’s been fun and all but I really should get going. Knowing my parents the entire police force is out looking for me.” I stood up but before I could make my escape Caden grabbed my arm and pulled me back down.
“I’m sorry but you can’t go home.” Caden said leaning closer into me. I wanted to look away from his perfect face but his eyes held me in. I can’t believe I hadn’t noticed them before, they where the brightest and lightest shade of green I had ever seen. I didn’t even know that eyes could be that colour. Just looking into them made it hard to believe that he was something bad.
“Well,” I said, my breath slightly short, I cursed myself for acting like this and managed to redirect my eyes to the t.v. “I’m sorry to disappoint you but I’m going home.” I tried to tug my arm away from his firm grasp but even giving it all my effort it was useless.
“Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you but there is a reason why I am here, why I took you and I’m not about to let you go.”
“And what would that reason be?” I asked, looking back into his lovely face.
Caden narrowed his eyes at me, “My father.” was all he said.
“I’m sure you can do it without me.” I snapped narrowing my eyes as well. I gave one last tug but Caden’s grip never loosened.
“The bathroom is over there, you can get a shower if you want.” Caden said changing the subject.
“And do what change back into my ruined dress?” I asked appalled
“No, we’ll have to go shopping I guess.”
“I don’t have any money.” I stated.
Caden snorted, “Money is the least of our problems. For now, just take a shower and change into some of my clothes.” Still clutching my arm, he dragged me to the bedroom.
“You are going to give me bruises you know.” I informed him dryly.
Caden looked down at me and dropped my arm “Sorry,” he murmured. He went to the dresser and threw a few things around until he tried to hand me a pair of gray sweats and a hollister tee shirt.
“These aren’t going to fit me.” I declared.
“Too bad.”
“I’ll look like a guy.”
“A tomboy.”
“A guy.”
“A hot tomboy.” I blushed and grabbed the clothes and stormed off into the bathroom.
