“What?! You’ve been waiting two months for her, and now once you finally find her, we can’t get her! What the hell’s wrong with you?!” Shawn shouted.

“No, listen to me. Katie doesn’t want us hurt, so she told me to leave. But we have to get back up to get her. I know where she is, so we can come back here tonight. Today at the meeting, I can talk to my father about this whole mess. We’ll get some men, and get her back.” I explained.

“This better work, man. We can’t risk Katie’s life here. Or ours.” Shawn said.

“This will work.” I reassured. ‘Better said than done.’

“Father!” I said bursting through the meeting room doors.

“Aidyn! There you are. You’re late for the meeting!” he said furiously. I noticed there were other vampires in the room.

“Now Aidyn, please sit down. We must continue our meeting about the wedding,” he said.

“Listen to me father! I found Katie!” I yelled at him causing him to look away from the paperwork and at me, shocked.

“You found her?” he questioned with a stunned expression. I just nodded while smiling like an idiot.

“But that’s impossible. I got the top soldiers and all the men to find her. And she was nowhere to be found. Where was she?” he asked.

“She was deep in the woods in a cabin with Cam. The guy that kidnapped her. I was hunting until I fell upon her scent. Then I just teleported myself to the scent and saw her in a room. She told me to leave and that it was dangerous for me to be there, but I reassured her that I will come back to save her. Father we must. I can’t marry Jasmine. She’s a whore and will be a horrible wife, but Katie…I love her father. I need her in my arms again. We must get her.” I pleaded. My father walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder.

“Son, we will go to her tonight. I will round up my men, and you must take us to the direction to her. Everything will be alright.” he said.

“Thank you father, but what will we do with Jasmine?” I asked. She may be a whore and a horrible person, but I’m still caring enough to want to know where she will become of.

“Well we have nothing else to do but just send her back home.” he stated. I nodded then walked out of the door to a waiting Shawn and Nick.

“So…” Shawn asked eagerly.

“We’re leaving tonight. My father’s gathering up the men, then we’re out. I’m leading the way because I found her scent before. I still can’t believe my father didn’t catch her scent before. He had the best men out.” I said.

“Yeah, I don’t get that either. I think it’s because you can smell her scent the best because you were always around her.” Nick said.

“Probably,” I nodded in agreement then walked off to my office with Shawn and Nick by my side. Once I reached my office, I pulled a book off the bookshelf and it led to the secret passageway to the room.

In an instant, we were in the room. I walked to the stone wall by the fireplace, pressed in a brick and a wall turned around to reveal an entire wall of weapons. We each put on some light weight but something that could still kill Cam and his friends then walked back up to the meeting room to see my father and five of our best soldiers.

“You ready son?” he asked.

“More ready than I’ll ever be,” I replied confidently. We all walked out the front door, out the gates, and were on the road.

“Lead the way, Aidyn.” my father said. I nodded then ran in inhuman speed towards the woods, with everybody close behind.

Don’t worry Katie. We’re coming.

After Aidyn left, he was all I could think about. Well I always thought about him, but now I wondered more things and questions started flooding my brain. Will he come back to save me? What if he does? What will Cam do? What can I do? And these were just the few that were on my mind. I stopped thinking about them once it was nine at night. It doesn’t seem like Aidyn will come. Good thing too, I love him with all my heart, but I can’t risk him losing his life for me. I just couldn’t live with my self. And when I was just about to close my eyes to a nice sleep. I heard footsteps. My head instantly flew up to see six tall men and three guys. They were all wearing black and had some light weapons on them.

“Aidyn?!” I whispered yelled. He turned around to face me and came to my side.

“Don’t worry Katie. We’re here to save you. Everything’s going to be okay. Father, I have it from here.” he said looking at his dad then paying his full attention back to me. His father, Shawn, Nick and the rest of the men suddenly knocked down the walls and ran out searching for Cam, Ace, and James.

“Aidyn, you have to leave. Once Cam finds you, he’ll kill you and show no mercy. If I live and you die, I would never live with myself. I can’t let you risk your life for me. I just can’t.” I said, tears fighting to break out in sobs. Aidyn saw the tears forming and instantly held me close to his chest.

“No worries, Katie. The men that we brought are highly skilled soldiers. They’ll be the ones to show no mercy. Now come on, let’s get you out of those chains.” he said.

“I can’t let you do that Aidyn,” a voice said from the doorway. We both looked up to see Cam leaning against whatever’s left of the wall.

“Cam.” Aidyn growled. I felt him tense up against me as he glared at Cam filled with hatred.

“It’s nice to see you again Aidyn. What’s it been, two months?” he said casually with a smirk. I really hate him right now.

“Cam, can’t you see this is over? There are men in the house searching for you, Ace, and James. They are all highly skilled and won’t have mercy on you. How about you just leave us alone and take off.” I said angrily.

“I won’t let them take you Katie. You belong with me. We belong together.” he growled.

“Don’t you get it already!?” I yelled frustrated at the same repeated line. “We are not meant to be with each other, I don’t love you, and nothing will ever happen between us!” I yelled clearly pissed off right now. His face looked broken and hurt then it quickly changed to hatred and anger.

“Well if I can’t have you, nobody can,” he growled then in an instant, Aidyn and him are fighting it off beating down every wall, breaking down everything they come in touch with. Tears started falling down my eyes as I kept screaming at them to stop the fight.

The seconds were ticking as I waited for the guys to be here. They seemed to be taking days, as the brawl became for violent and bloody. I didn’t know how much longer I could take this.

Then in a heartbeat, Nick and Shawn came running into the room pulling Cam and Aidyn away from each other. Everything was so fast and I was filled with so many emotions, my weak body couldn’t take any of it anymore. My nervous system failed as the last thing I heard was, “Everything’s going to be alright.” Then pitch black.
