Chapter 8 : Tezuka Notices

Tezuka blinked as he watched his shoichi's match against Kaidoh. He felt a rush of pride as his cousin defeated most of the regulars with ease. He hadnt realized that he or Sayuri had gotten so good.

Being that he was the one who taught them he had a good reason to be proud. Shoichi had always strived to be excelent. Under his smile and laughter there was alot of hurt and he felt that his only release was Tennis. And beneath Sayuri's quiet polite manner there was anger. Anger at her mother for leaving them, but more prominent anger at herself for being so sick.

Tezuka looked on with rapt attention as Sayuri sat with Inui. What they were discussing no one dared to find out for fear of liquid repercussions. But very subtly his team mates chose Fuji to be the sacrifice... ahem i mean abassador. >.>

"Pardon me." Fuji said with that amused smile on his face "Inui Sempai Momo and Eiji wanted to speak to you on some matter."

"Nani?!!!"

"Ii Data, thank you Fuji-san" Inui nodded and whent over to the quaking boys

Fuji took Inui's place but sat much closer.

Tezuka Tensed as he noticed that Fuji was acting more forward with Sayuri then had ever acted with any girl.

"Ah Sayuri-chan You looked very intrested on whatever it was you and Inui were speaking on? Saa perhaps it had to do with information on your love intrest?"

Sayuri blushed slightly at the suggestion but shook her head no.

"Actually Inui and i were merely speaking about his intresting experiment he was conducting...Inui-Juice he said i believe."

Tezuka gave a small invisible shudder at the word and those who could hear did as well

"I offered to be part of his experiment but he said that he didnt think it would be a good idea... Said that the last girl who took his drink had a very early, very heavy menstrual cycle." Sayuri blushed slightly at the topic and added quickly "He also said he didnt know how the drink would react with my pills."

"Saa, I see that is an intresting topic." Fuji chuckled then turned to here consernedly "ah, Sayuri-chan are you feeling well?"

"ano, i'm a little tired fuji-kun." Sayuri said atempting to wave off any conserns but she was visibly paling.

"Then, here lay your head in my lap... i know its very improper but i'd rather be improper than have you over work yourself." Fuji said gently helping her lay on the bench with her head on his lap. And there they sat as the friendly intra-ranking matches began.
Tezuka had that pondering, far away look inhis eyes as he watched his cousins with great intrest. He wondered when they had grown up so? Especialy Sayuri. Could it be she liked Fuji? It seemed clearer and clear to Tezuka that Fujji had then intention to court his baby cousin.
and Tezuka didnt like that... didnt like it at all
(A/n:Uhoh... Doesnt seem like Tezuka aprooves of what ever it is that is Sayuri and Fuji's Relationship... Can helearnto deal with it? or will our protagonists be pulled apart before they even start.
Okay this one is rather short. mostly because i have no time to make it longer and i'm on a small writers block T.T, its not very fun. i'll try to make this next one longer but as i said befor... i suck at fight/Match scenes... especialy since i suck at tennis. Can any one explain the scoring to me? that would be extreamly helpful
