Our Love is Evergreen (Sequel to Angels in Hell) Chapter One Where could she be?!
Chapter 2 : Our Love is Evergreen (Chapter Two An Unexpected Person)
Wee! Oh! I need help! I need good nightmare ideas! If you can, will you message me ideas? That would be totally awesome! Anyway, on with the story!
Maple’s POV
I woke up, groggily and in pain, to a very bright light in my eyes. I blinked back tears for a few minutes before my eyes were adjusted. There were bars all around me. I looked around, confused, until I looked up to see no freedom. Then, I realized I was in a cage. I looked around the room.
The room looked like the kind of place you would see in a scary movie. There were tiled floors and walls. There were no windows in the room. Everywhere I looked, there were strange tools. I didn’t know what they were used for, but I also didn’t want to know.
Suddenly, the door opened. Leo and Lynda walked into the room.
“Ah, she’s awake,” Leo said strutting over to the cage I was in. When he was in front of me, I cowered away from him so his hand couldn’t touch me. Leo smirked while he looked at his snickering sister.
“What do you want with me?” I asked bravely, more bravely than I felt. Leo looked at me with dark cold eyes.
“Why, love, you’re here for tiny experiments. You’ll only feel a lot of pain, but I’m sure you’ll die if you’re not very strong,” he said casually and I immediately felt sick. These people were twisted.
“What kind of experiments?” I asked and Lynda smirked to me.
“That’s for us to know. You’ll soon find out…if you live!” She cackled evilly and walked out of the room. Leo, however, walked over to a table next to my cage and picked up a large needle with yellow liquid in it. Leo advanced me with the needle in hand and I cowered further and further away until my back hit my cage.
“Hold still!” Leo roared as I squirmed from his touch. Finally, he stuck the needle into my arm, sending horrible pain up my arm. I screamed loudly. Leo slapped me and I fell unconscious. What is he doing to me? I begged, hoping I would live to see my friends again.
Sierra’s POV
Jessie and I shared a room, a different room than before. This room had two beds. I was probing minds, looking for Maple, when I heard a What is he doing to me? thought. I grabbed onto that thought but then it vanished from me. Glowering, I tried again, searching more and more for the certain brunette. If I could find her and she could tell me where she was…but it didn’t seem very likely that I would find her again. It was as if she put a magic cloth around her mind so I couldn’t find her! No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t find her.
“Go to sleep, Sierra. You can try tomorrow,” Jessie’s voice rang and I frowned, nodding. There was tomorrow, but there was a chance that she wouldn’t be alive by then! I replied these concerns to her and Jessie frowned.
“You have to take those chances,” Jessie said and Sierra nodded sadly. I’ll try… Sierra thought to herself and fell asleep. I will try…
The next day, I was already awake. I could hardly sleep. It was like waiting for a new Classic Crime CD to come that day and then trying to fall asleep. I sat up and closed my eyes, probing, again, everywhere for Maple. This time it was harder because of my grogginess. Sometimes I would flicker onto something suspicious, but when I grabbed onto that mind, it turned out to be one of either Teren’s or Connor’s knights. Suddenly, I had a question that needed answering.
Teren? How did you know where we were? Where we were kidnapped? I asked Teren, not caring if he was sleeping. I heard him groan and he replied, Nick told me. He missed you guys a lot and wanted to save you guys. He doubted that you actually ran away after the ball when Connor was gone as well. I nodded; I would have to kill Nick later. A sudden thought came to mind. This thought was dangerous and would require patience, but I was sure that we could get a person to do the job. This plan would undoubtedly work.
~~Few Hours Later~~ Still Sierra’s POV
We were all in the dining room, the six of us. I cleared my voice to interrupt the silence and everyone’s attention was on me. I was nervous.
“Connor? Is there anybody that has the power to tell where a certain person may be?” Everyone’s eyes suddenly shined brighter than before when I finished asking the question.
“Why, I do believe there is someone. I’ll have to call her up and she’ll come see us today at noon,” Connor said, standing up. “If you’ll excuse me.” He walked out of the room, all eyes on him. Before he was out of the room, he pulled out a tiny dark blue cell phone and flipped up the top part.
“Do you think it’ll work?” Teren asked me and I nodded.
“It should…” Sierra said. We sat, waiting for Connor and within a few minutes, Connor walked back into the room, smiling.
“She’s coming right now! She’ll be here in ten minutes!” Connor said and Jessie sat up.
“That’s great!” she said and I sat back, trying to relax. Ten minutes seemed to go by slowly. All of us were too tense to speak. Suddenly, a knock on the door dampened our tense mood. Teren rushed to the door and looked too shocked to speak at first, then admitted the girl in. As soon Jessie and I saw the red haired woman, we jumped from our seat.
“Gentlemen, I want you to meet Lynda, the woman who will help us.”
