Please comment or rate these two chapters. I'll only post more if I get some feedback. I would really like to know if I suck or not. (lol :))
Pandora thought back to her first day of her first year. It had been her first time being known as the bad-ass Morrigan girl. It had also been the first time she met Todd. They had been an “item” for the whole (you guessed it) FIRST semester, then broke up, but got back together every single year.
“I can’t believe we’re starting 5th Former already, Pan!” Is exclaimed. Rose nodded but was already buried in a book. Is was preening herself in a black framed mirror for she was getting ready for a date that night. The next Trip, which was going out to the surrounding towns, was at the end of the month but the Trio knew how to get out. Pandora paced around, bored.
“How long is the Placing going to take?” Pandora complained. Rose snapped her book shut and shoved it away.
“I don’t know, Pandora! God! How long did it f-ing take us?” Rose answered, exasperated. Pandora shrugged. Finally, the announcement came on-the exact same every single boring year. Pandora jumped away from a black Raven statue and ran out the door. Isadora and Rose took longer and Pandora stomped her foot outside impatiently.
“Guys! Hurry up! I want to get a good seat!” she yelled. They filed out into the hall, laughing at Pan’s eagerness and walked to the caff.
Shan’s P.O.V.
On the way to the cafeteria, Shan and Ben passed the girls. Shan could not understand why whenever she walked by he got this wiggly, feverish feeling. But she was an Ackart and he could never like her.
Pandora’s P.O.V.
They arrived in the caff at the same time everyone else did to Pandora’s annoyance. But, everyone split into two lines as the Trio walked by. All of the students recognized the power and popularity of the trio practically (willingly) bowed to them. They may only be 5th Formers but they ruled the school.
“Pandora!” called out Todd. He broke away from the left row and matched his walking with Pandora.
“So…are we going out again?” he asked confidently, seemingly already knowing the answer would be yes. Pandora was going to answer yes until she noticed Shan walking towards the Gwydion tables. Her mind blanked out as she drank in the exact way his longish black hair fell in his eyes and his confident walk-almost sauntering.
“Um, Pan? Pandora?” Is’s word pulled Pandora back to the present.
“What?!” she answered, annoyed.
“I asked you out.” Todd grinned and touched her cheek. She frowned and pushed it away.
“No.” The cafeteria went silent and all eyes turned to look at the four.
“WHAT?!” Three voices rang out in the dead quiet. She turned to look at them.
“No, I mean it. I don’t want to go out with you. Not anymore at least.” She replied. Todd leaned in closer to her.
“I know you want me though,” he whispered in her ear, sending trickles of loathing down her spine. “I’m all you want.” She shoved him away so he fell onto the cold marble ground.
“All you want is to fuck me. And I’m done with that. You didn’t get me any of the years before and you won’t get me now.” She spat. He got to his knees and held his hands as if praying.
“Please, Pan Pan. I’ll beg and grovel and do anything!” he whined pitifully. She sneered at his tearing face.
“Nope. Sorry Todd, go get your Sex God status somewhere else.” She turned on her heel and strutted to the table. The other two followed, leaving a stunned Todd on the ground.
“Shit, Pan! Why did you do that? Now you won’t EVER get him back!” Rose exclaimed and Is nodded seriously.
“Ha! If I did want him back, it would be in a second. But I’m done with that male chauvinist pig.” She retorted and turned to her food. Her soul soared as she realized she was finally, truly free. She could have anyone.
Shan’s P.O.V.
Shan gasped, along with everyone else, as the scene played out in front of them. He couldn’t help but feel incredibly happy-ecstatic even-at this new development. Free, free! Pandora was FREE! He wanted to jump around and scream; such was his excitement. But he couldn’t. Why? Because she was an Ackart and he was a Reynolds. They hated each other. They could never be together. It was practically law.
Pandora’s P.O.V.
Boys flocked over to her, desperately vying for her attention. She sent them away with a flick of her fingers. Before, she picked up the cutest guy and messed around with him for a while. But this time was strangely different. She only had eyes for Shan. Their eyes met and her heart skipped a beat. She smiled, embarrassed and quickly looked away. Heather Finn, a stupid wanna-be, snaked her arm around Shan and sat down in his lap.
“Darling! I haven’t seen you all summer! How has my baby toy been doing?” Heather pulled his attention away from Pandora. He shrugged and Pandora glared at the bitch.
“Er, fine I guess. How have you-“ Heather cut his question off and smashed her mouth against his in a loud, smacking, get-a-room kiss. Pandora grimaced and turned away, so not to see the obnoxious PDA.
Shan’s P.O.V.
He broke away from her bile-raising kiss swiftly. Somehow, she had gotten it into her head that he was her plaything and she owned him. He used to let her do whatever until she got boring. Heather’s happy face turned sad and pouty.
“Shanny, what’s wrong?” she asked, petting his hand.
“Oh, uh, nothing. You just surprised me, is all.”
“Okay then…wanna come to my room tonight? I’ve got a special surprise…” Heather hook her ratty hair “seductively.” Distractedly, Shan nodded and his eyes searched for Pandora.
Pandora’s P.O.V.
Pandora could not bear not knowing any longer. Heart pounding, hoping with all she had that she wouldn’t be caught, she decided to send an invis-note to Shan. Invis-notes were relatively simple. You wrote what you wanted to say on a piece of paper, and used your power to make it invisible. The only problem was that it could stop being invisible any time. She wrote quickly for Shan to meet her in the room right next to the caff, alone, after dinner was over. She bit her lip and sent it.
“I still can’t believe you did that, Pan Pan.” Rose gushed. Pandora grinned and shrugged, dismissing Rose’s comment.
“He was a womanizer. I have no more patience for him.” She stated. All who heard her latest comment turned to openly stare at Todd. He was sitting without any friends and crying. Many girls, though, tried blatantly to get his attention. But all his confidence was gone. His status as Morrigan Sex God had been ripped away, it only came from dating Pandora. All had praised his attempts to get her to “give him some” and groaned when he failed once again. He had no taste for any others as his prime chase was over. Pandora didn’t care in the least. To her, that stupid waste of time was over and done with.
The end of dinner bell rang. The benches were pushed back and a flood of students stood up to go elsewhere. Pandora and Shan’s met for a nanosecond, enough for them to absolutely know what was bound to take place soon.
