A Real S.O.S

Cath arrived shortly after the phone call. It took some begging but she came. Sunny knew all too well how Cath felt about The Jonas Brothers. Cath, being Sunny's best friend knew just how she felt about celebrities as well. The door swung open && Cath glared at Nick who opened the door for her. Then as she strided past him she spat, "Fall Out Boy wannabees." Her chocolate brown eyes fell on Sunny who sat curled in a blanket on the couch beside Joe who was watching T.V.
"Awww, Sunny doesn't feel very sunny?" She said using the cutesy saying that her mother had used for her since she was little.
Sunny shook her head. She had explained everything on the phone. So, she understood how her best friend was feeling && why she was in the home of a famous person. Cath made a face as she shoved Joe almost off the couch to sit next to her friend. She took Sunny in an embrace, stroking the back of her chestnut brown hair.
"It's okay if you need to cry, Babe. Just let it out. Cath is here now." She whispered in her ear soothingly.
"It's fine, Cath. I don't think I can cry anymore. I got that && more this afternoon." Sunny explained.
Cath nodded, understanding. Of course, it was only natural for Sunny to cry uncontrolably before hand.
"Umm, I take it you're Cath?" Joe said not quite understanding Cath's resentment.
"Be silent." Cath was in a word, cold, to people she didn't like.
The Jonas Brothers were the worst of the worst to the two of them. Ever since Sunny's little sister started obbsessing over Nick, they've resented their very existance.
"I'll take that as a yes." Joe said rubbing the back of his head.
"Cath, be nice for once. Imean he did save me from a nasty flu or worse. && their family was nice enough to take us both in." I said trying to force a weak smile....it failed.
Cath could read Sunny like a book. It was clear that she would never get over the love she had lost. It was also clear that a song was playing in her head.
"It's Stand In The Rain by Superchick, isn't it?" It wasn't a question.
Sunny could feel the tears beginning to swell again. Cath only nodded. She could also tell that Joe was beginning to devlope something for Sunny.
"Jonas, in the kitchen. Now!" She was talking to Joe.
In the kitchen Cath unleashed her wrath towards him.
"Listen, Jonas! She's fragile. She's still in love && will always be that way. You will never make a move on her. Is that understood?" She screamed quietly.
Joe looked stunned.
"Answer me!"
"Yes." Was all he could manage to say.
