My Vampire Life *Part 1*
Chapter 5 : My Vampire Life *Part 5*
The room started spinning. I cannot believe it. I just can’t believe it! I am adopted, and no one told me for all these years!
“What?!” I asked.
“Levana’s mother and I, didn’t have our own birth children. Levana’s mother Austria, couldn’t have children, and I wanted children, but I didn’t want to lose myself. We were two young neighbourhood women; who went to the adoption centre to adopt beautiful girls. When we got there, there were two cots, next to each other. You were in one of them and Levana was in the other. You both – are, um you both are – um...” my mother hesitated.
“Twins?” I asked. With shock.
“Um, well yes, that is the reason why Austria had moved – so you do not get to know that you are sisters. I am so sorry for keeping this away from you. Oh and this necklace came with you when you were born. Levana has one as well. You both were already named. We did not give you these names.” My mother was calm whilst saying this.
I am shocked. I don’t know what to be. I am mixed emotions. I am happy, because me and Levana are identical twins. I am sad because I am adopted, I don’t know where my real mother is, I don’t know who she is, and I don’t think I will ever find her. Well I hope I do. I am so angry. I cannot believe my mother hasn’t told me this!
“Mum why didn’t you tell me before?” I asked, really upset.
“Me and Austria didn’t think we should get you two together until your 16th birthday.” Said my FAKE mother.
I thought of Levana and ran to her house. Austria had known that my FAKE mother had told me. Austria had also told Levana at the same time as me. I was crying and running. Austria answered the door.
“Hello Belladonna – “
I ran upstairs. I could hear Levana come downstairs. She ran as well. She hugged me tight and I hugged tight back.
“Me and you are, are sisters” She screamed.
I didn’t say a word. I just hugged. I was so shocked I didn’t believe it. I went into her room. We sat there. I had the necklace in my hand and analysed it. Then I looked at Levana’s. Oh my god. I can see where the two necklaces become one. The little man was putting the star on the moon. I told Levana to take her necklace off. She did so and what I had said was true. The little man was holding the star on to the moon.
Me and Levana just smiled at each other. We were so happy.
We had decided that we will go to look for our mother.
