~Start~
'Chapter 8: Enter Syuki Ooksaki!'
Five years. Five long years. That was how long they were seperated.

But the promise was to be kept eventually.

"Finally," A mysterious voice breathed. Heavy tired footsteps came to a halt as she stopped, just in front of her destination. "Finally, I'm.... home." the voice spoke again, just above a whisper. She stared at the scene in front of her, dark purple eyes glistening with emotion.

The village hidden in the leaves. That was the place.

Her bottom lip quivered slightly before letting out a small,relaxed sigh. The stranger's lips titled upward into a smirk as she advanced forward, bag slung over her shoulder, a few strands of purple hair dancing behind her in the gentle breeze.
The two gaurds keeping watch at the gates looked up and stared at the little girl in curiousity as she walked without a care in the world, eyes forcused forwards into the streets of Konoha.
"Hey, you!" one of them shouted, jerking up from his seat. The girl stopped in her tracks and moved her head slowly in his direction as the gaurds stalked towards her. He towered above the young girl, hands on his waist. "Who are you, and what is your business with Konoha?" he asked.

The girl looked up at the gaurd with a slight glare, her mouth in a straight line and replied cooly,

"My name is Syuki Ookasaki. And I've come back to Konoha to keep a promise."

Attitude: Hard-headed, cold, cocky, bitchy at times, motherly and kind... on rare occasions.
Outfit: Okay, see if you can picture this cos' I don't have an image xDD. Black shirt that only reaches the place below the chest with a slightly fanned-out coller and sleeves just covering the top of her shoulders. Grey-ish bandages rapped tightly around her waist and the rest of her exposed tummy. Bandages also on her elbows. Light brown shorts that reaches knee-length and the common dark blue ninja sandals.

Naruto sat down with his chin on the table, a huge toothy grin on his face.
Yeah, today was his first day as a ninja and he was darn proud of it, too.

"Alright, one step nearer to becoming Hokage!" He cheered to himself, grinning somemore. "If only Syuki-chan was here.... I'm going to make her proud."

It had been five years since he last saw the young Ooksaki girl. It had been tought since then... No one to talk to, no one to laugh with, no one to share his dream with. Naruto suddenly relieased how much he had missed his friend.

"Well, I've been living life without her for 5 years... I'm sure I can carry on without her until she comes back. At least I hope she comes back. She promised didn't she?" he started to feel the smallest tinge of doubt tugging at his mind and heart. His grin slowly vanished as he gritted his teeth.

'I'll be back. One day.'

'Is that a promise?'

'Cross my heart and hope to die.'

"No. She promised she would come back and she will. I know she will." the doubt that was tugging at his heart suddenly dissappeared and was replaced with confidence. The toothy grin on his face came back again and he chuckled to himself a bit.

"Huh? What are you doing here, Naruto?" Shikamaru asked rudely, catching Naruto's attention. "This isn't for drop-outs. You can't be here unless you've graduated." he told him.

"Oh yeah, you see this? You see this?" Naruto snorted back huffily, pointing to his headbacnd proudly. "Open your eyes, Shikamaru. It's a regulation headband! We're gonna be training together! How'd you like that?" He smirked, shooting yet another foxy grin at the pineapple-head shinobi.

"Hmph." Shikamaru grunted and put a hand on his waist not believing what Naruto just told him.

"Lemme put it to ya this way," Naruto says and proceeds to tell Shikamaru about how cool he looks with the headband on and yada yada yada while a certain Hyuuga girl admires him from afar.

She stares at him with a faint blush on her face as he jabbered on, not aware of his shy admirer.

"And my headband.. -YADA YADA YADA- .. RAMEN... -BLABLABLAH-... Better then you!..-Blehblahbleh-."

"He did graduate after all," Hinata thought smiling. "I'm glad."

All of a sudden, the doors slam open to reveal two girls rushing in, squuezing each other as they did. They pushed each other's cheeks away and declared loudly in unison, "I'M FIRST!" before panting like someone who just ran a marathon.

"I win again, Sakura!" the blonde kunoichi smirked, looking at her pink-haired opponent.

"As if!" Sakura rolled her eyes and said. "I had to look back to see you!My toe was in before yours!"

"Yeah, right." Ino huffed, "Have you always be this dellusional?"

"Sakuraaaaa...." Naruto blushed, turning his head, a goofy smile on his face. Yeah, even after all these years he STILL had the same major crush on the pink haired girl. He thought that she was super cute with her bubbly pink hair and sparkling green eyes.

Speaking of which, she turned around and blinked at Naruto's direction before bursting into a happy, excited smile.

"Oh my god, she's smiling at me! Sakura-chan's smiling at me!" Naruto squealed on the inside, "She probably thinks I look good in this headband too!"

He watched eagerly as she skipped down the stairs towards him.

"Hey, Sakura-chan!" He greeted just to be punched out of the way. "OW!"

"OUT OF WAY, NARUTO!" She hissed before turning to the real source of her interest.

Sasuke Uchiha.

"Hehe, er...H-hi Sasuke." She giggled, clasping her hands together hopefully. The Uchiha looked at her boredly with disinterest as she asked if she could sit next to him.

"Hey, BACK OFF FOREHEAD!" Ino yelled, shoving Sakura aside. "I'm sitting next to Sasuke!"

"But I was here first!"

"Nu-uh! I was!"

"Dream on!"

they bickered, shooting death glares at each other.

*Anime veins*
*Twitch, twitch*
*Grr....*
A bunch of other girls started to crowd around them, protesting that they were here ealier then either of the two and started to fight about who got to sit with the oh-so-charming social disaster.

"Annoying." Sasuke thought bitterly, shutting his eyes.

"Grrr..." Naruto growled, jealous of all the fuss about Sasuke. He jumped onto
the desk and glared back into Sasuke's face. His eyes squinted more as he stared back in hatred at him.

"NARUTO!" Sakura yelled angerily, "STOP GLARING AT SASUKE, YOU IDIOT!"

Startled at Sakura's words and then ignoring them, Naruto continued to glare back into his eyes, wondering why the hell everyone adored him so much.

Sasuke, getting really pissed off right about now, glared back with just as much hatred. You could pratically see the static zapping back and fort from their eyes.

Unintetionally, some dude leaned back and pushed Naruto's bum back...

Lips smacked into each other and gasps and shrieks of terror and shock were heard.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! OH MY GOD!!"

"AW, GROSS!!" Naruto shrieked, holding his throat in utter disgust.

"NARUTO! IM GOING TO KILL YOU!" Sasuke sputtered, cringing and doing the same.

"NARUTO.... YOU ARE SO DEAD...." Sakura hissed dangerously, anger marks appearing all over her wide forehead.

"S-sakura-chan! It was an accident!" D:

"YOU'RE FINISHED!!"

"AHHH!!!"

~With our Heroin~

Feeling a weird chill run up her spine, Syuki shivered a bit. "Eh? I've got a weird feeling... I wonder if something bad just happened..." She muttered to herself, "Or... it could be the excitment of coming back." She smirked, entering the
Hokage building.

*Knock, knock*

"Come in please," The Hokage says loudly, not looking up from his paper work. Syuki enters queitly, shutting the door behind her as she did.

"What is it?" The old man asks, shifting some papers from his huge pile. He removes his pipe from his mouth and looks up at the purple-haired girl i front of his desk.

"I'm here to register as a citizen in this village," Syuki tells him calmly.

"Alright, then." the elder says, staring back at the young girl, a bit surprised at her calm statue. So young, yet it seemed as if she held herself as an adult.

"Did you come to Konoha all by yourself?"

"That is correct."

"Hmm... okay. Name please?" He took out a stack of papers and a pen, still staring at Syuki.

"My name is Syuki Ookasaki."

"Ookasaki? But I thought all of them--"

"That's what you THOUGHT." Syuki almost snapped, glaring at the flabbergasted old man.
Grunting slightly, she looked downwards, her jaw tightening. "I'm sorry." she muttered, her eyes still on the ground. "I didn't mean to snap. It's just... a very sensitive topic."

"I understand." The old man smiled kindly, a knowing look in his eyes. Hesincerely knew what she meant. "Alright, I just need you to fill out some questions and you'll be good to go," he says, handing her a stack of papers and a pen.
Taking the papers, Syuki looked up at him, a small smile curled on her lips. "Can I request enrolling as a genin too?" she asked polietly, as she scanned the questions before filling them out one by one.
"If you want." He replied, lacing his fingers together. "But first, show me if you can make at least three replicas of yourself"
Placing the papers and pen on the desk, Syuki nodded, folding her arms. Her eyes started to glow white before patches of colours started to slip in, dancing wildly around the pupils.

*POOF!*

Then, in a puff of chalky white smoke, three clones of herself appeared around her.

"Hmmm. Not bad, not bad at all." The hokage mused, rubbing his chin. "Hmmm, you pass. You are now officially a genin, congragulations!" he smiled, eyes closed.
Syuki nodded silently, actually feeling happier then she seemed. Her clones then poofed away automatically as so dropped her arms down to her sides.

"Do I start today?"

"Well, today's suppose to be the first day of whereas the new genin start their first day at the ninja academy. But if you're too tired from your journey..."

"No, it's okay. I'll be alright." Syuki told him, picking up her bag from the floor. She slung it over her shoulder as she turned around, glancing at the Hokage once more. "I'll be at the academy today, then. If my memory serves me right, I'll be able to get there in no time."

"Okay, then. When you're there, look out for a man called Iruka and tell him all that happened. He'll know what to do from then on."

"I will." Syuki muttered reassuringly, shutting the door behind her as she did.

"Ooksaki, Syuki." The hokage mumbled in amusment, staring at the shut door. "Interesting child. I can tell she has potential... but how well will she just fit in here after so many years of being away?" He smiled lightly, his old face lighting up. There was a wise glint in his eyes as he chuckled. "I'll just have to wait and see then."

~With Syuki~
'This is it, I think.' Syuki thought, staring at the building in front of her. The official ninja academy. The door made a weird squeaking sound as she pushed it open, revealing an empty hall. 'Maybe everyone's in class already.'

She walks down the deserted hallway until she stops at a door, hearing noises inside. "Maybe he's here." she said to herself, exclaiming the door before her. She was about to knock on it when someone went up to her and spoke in a curious voice,
"Hello, I've never seen you before. Who are you excatly?"

Turning to look at the person, she found that it was a chuunin (Dunno if he is a Chuunin or Jounin, I'llgo with Chuunin) with a scar across his nose, hair tied up in a spikey ponytail. He had a friendly aura around him and there was a smile plastered onto his face.

"I'm supposed to be a new student here. I just moved in the hidden leaf villagetoday.My name is Syuki Ookasaki," Syuki introduced herself, staring at the man strangely.

"Ookasaki...?"

Syuki looked away, a slight pissed look on her face. She hated it when she got that reaction.

"Yes, Ookasaki." she said sourly, glaring at the wall.

The man, a nervous drop of sweat forming and rolling down the side of his face, scracthed his head. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to offend you." he apologised, as Syuki shook her head.

"It's quite alright. Mostly everyone does that." She said, still not looking at the man.

"Okay then. My name is Iruka, by the way. I'm a teacher here."

"Iruka? Ah... then you must be the guy Lord Hokage asked me to look for." Syuki says half to herself. "He said to look for you and tell you that I'd be enrolling here as a new student. I already passed the test, so all I need is to get my hedband from you and I'm all set." She said dryly, if not a little boredly,as if no emotion got to her.

"Oh, okay then." Iruka smiled at Syuki again. "I was just about tostart class. Just wait here while I take care of the students inside, come in when I tell you to, okay?"

"Kay."

~With Naruto~

Naruto stayed still, supporting his body on the desk. "Oh my aching... everything..." He groaned mentally, steam literally smoking off him from the friction of Sakura and the other fangirls' punches. He could barely hear Iruka coming in and start to give a little speech about being a ninja. DX

"As of today, you are all ninjas. To get here, you faced difficult trails and hardships. But that's nothing. What comes next will be far more difficult. Now you are only genin, first level ninjas all the genin will be grouped into three-man squads. All squads will be leaded by a Jounin, an elite ninja."

"What? Huh?" Almost everyone in the classroom gasped in surprise. Some of them were happy, some of them were not.

"Yes, but before I group all of you into your squads, I would like to introduce a new student who just arrived in Konoha today." Iruka said, his hands behind his back. He glanced towards the door and said loudly, "You can come in now."

More excited whispers filled the air as the door slowly opened.

He immediately sat up straight as his blue eyes opened wider andhis mouth dropped a bit as feet waltzed lazilyinto the classroom as if the person hadn't a care in the world, despite the voices and stares.

"Class, I would like you all to meet Syuki of the Ookasaki clan."
