Undying Luuuuurves

I'm kind of bored, so I'm just writing off the top of my head. Sorry it sucks, but- it's the best I can do for now. There'll be more soon, I swear. NOT THAT ANYBODY'S READING THIS~ ^_^ Oh, PS It's role-playing, just by the by. For all of you Irish lovers out there.

Brushing my hair behind my ear, I focused on the words written on the page. Still, as my eyes scanned them over again, it seemed surreal. The neat script almost seemed liquid on the page, graceful, but hasty. It was obvious the letter was written in a flurry of emotions, seeming almost aggressive. The letter read:

" My dear, I cannot live without you. So far away, it feels almost as though you were only a dream. I wish to see you again, but I know not how, nor when. I only know that I must see you soon. I cannot imagine life without you. Please write me soon. Just name the time, and the place, love. I'll be there.-Chris "

I gasped for air as I clutched the paper tightly to my chest, trying to keep in the bursting emotions that fluttered inside. As my heart beat furiously, I struggled to remember his beautiful face. His lovely Irish accent, and his charmingly humble crooked smile. But I'm getting ahead of myself- let me tell you how this all happened.

"Don't be silly, Joan, I'm sure he's got a girlfriend. I mean, honestly? Guys like him have girls throwing themselves at him 24-7," I giggled, peeking over at the cute Irish boy sitting across from us on the bus.
"Maybe so, but with your dashing good looks, who could resist you? I say you go for it."
"Don't beridiculous."
"Hey, if you don't, I will. I'm just giving you dibs because you saw him first."
"Don't you dare! I'm working up to it!" I shoved her playfully.
"Don't look now, but he's looking at yoooou,"sang Joan. "now's your chance, dork."
"Now?" I hissed.
"Yes, now."
"Fine! Maybe I will," I got up and walked over to him. "Hi, I'm ___."
"Err- hi, ___. I'm Christopher. But call me Chris. So what brings you to this side of the bus?"
"Well actually, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go for a coffee sometime...?"
"Um, sure. Do you have a paper I could write your number on?"
"What? Oh! Oh, of course! Hold on a moment, I think I have a paper in my bag-"
"Actually, why don't you just write it on my hand? I've a pen right here..."
"Oh, alright. That's convenient." Well that was kind of dumb sounding,I thought. As I took Chris' hand to write my number on it, I could feel my pulse quicken, and my cheeks flush red. I bent my head so that my hair fell over my cheeks, hiding the embarrassing shade of crimson that they were. Quickly finishing up writing down my number, I looked back up into his eyes. God, were they glorious. I'm not sure how long I spent gazing up at him, but it seemed like an eternity, almost as though the whole worlddisappeared, and it was just us two, sitting there. I could have stayed that way forever. Suddenly, the bus came to an abrupt halt, sending me tumbling into him..
"Oh god, I'm so sorry... I can be such a klutz sometimes."
"No, no, it's fine, really. It's not your fault. But um, this is my stop, so, if you wouldn't mind getting off me now-" we both laughed.
"Of course. Sorry about that."
"No problem. But em, talk to you later, eh?"
"Yes, later. Bye..." I waved, grinning like a stupid idiot, until he was far out of sight. Staring off into space, I touched my fingers up to my cheek, savoring the lingering tingling sensation left in my hand. But- I still had his pen. I had forgotten to give it back! Joan tapped my on the shoulder.
"Are you going to come back over anytime soon, or are you just going to sit there, looking like a love-struck idiot?" I snapped out of my trance.
"What? Oh, yeah. Right."
"Well," Said Joan, grinning. "that was successful!"
"Yeah... it was, wasn't it." and all the way home, I giggleduncontrollably, because I knew he was the one.
