The Cat of her Haunting Dreams (A Kyo Sohma Love Story) Pt. 3

"Father, what is it?" Kiri asked. The Sohma's looked surprised that the two who led you to Inazuma, were his daughters.
"Come in and sit. I'll explain everything..." You and your sister noddedand entered the room. He told you that you would be living with the Sohma's for an unannounced period of time, which to you and your sister translated to: until the cat is discovered. Remember, he didn't know that you heard the conversation.
"Father," He looked at you questioning your sudden outburst. "What are Kiri and I going to do about school? We go to school here, remember?"
He looked down to the floor in thought. "Shigure, do they go to a private school?"
"No, they go to a public school not to far away."
Your father looked down in thought again. "Very well. Kiri, Yume, you will be going to their school for the time being."
You were excited, but tried not to show it. "As you wish father," you replied in a monotone voice.
Kiri suddenly had a worried face upon her. "Wait! If we leave and go to a public school, we are breaking two very important rules!"
"Kiri!" your father yelled. You knew he was angry about her disrespect, but she was right. Althoughyou were excited, it was true that you were not actually allowed to leave the estate. "Don't worry about the rules! As the head of house, I'm giving you permission to leave the estate!" You hated that word. 'Permission'. Why did you have to get permission for everything you did? You even had to get permission to go train! It was horrible!!! You kept your anger bottled up for the time being, but if you had to listen to much more of this, you were going to explode!
"Father," you said interupting him from his yelling. "Shouldn't Kiri and I go pack? We will need to take some stuff and we don't want to keep the Sohma's waiting."
"You're right. Go get ready," he said dismissing you.
You went to your rooms and started getting ready. You removed the pane from the floor so that you could continue to listen to their conversation.
You packed a small backpack with clothes, a notebook for your stories, and a sketchbook. That's all you really needed to take. Then, you collapsed Nowaki's cage after taking some stuff out. You hooked the compact cage to your backpack an put Nowaki and some food into a pouch on your waist. The toys and bed were in your backpack though. "Alright, are you ready Nowaki?" He looked up at you and nestled into the pouch. "I'll take that as a yes."
You walked out your door and into the hallway where Kiri was waiting for you with her backpack. You nodded at her and walked down the stairs. You waited outside the room as Kiri went in to tell your father that you were ready. As you stood there, you fingered a leather necklace that had belonged to your mother. Your mother was beautiful and it was understandable why your father liked her. She was kind and always thought of others before herself. Her name was Mukuge (rose of sharon) and she had been cursed by thedog.

Kiri then emerged from the room followed by the 6 Sohma's and Tohru. You nodded at your father as you walked behind the group out the door and down the path.


Ok, so how was it? I promise that the next one will have more Kyo in it!!! So, I guess that's it. I'll start the next part now.
