My name is Lolita but i prefer Lola. I have 2best friends in the world Adam and Edward.We're all 7 years old and have been friends since we were 3.

"Aww,why I thought we were gonna play castle"Adam complained.
"Yea"Edward said.
"Why are you guys so girly?"I ask them.
"We are not its very manly to play castle"Edward said
"Nu-uh"I said

"Whatever I'll see you guys tomorrow."

I got back into my house and sat next to my mommy on the couch.
"I love you mommy"

I love my mom so much and welook alot alike. She's the only person I have besides my friends. My daddy left when I was 3 and I know it hurt mommy.I don't know what I would do with out her.

One cold day in Jersey,I was walking home alone in the rain. A comforting voice calledout "Hey Lola what's wrong with you, you might catch a cold!!!"I turn and tomy delight it wasmy friend Edward.We had been friends since third grade, when Edward moved in next door, since that daywe have been inseparable. Edward andI were walking home pushing each other out from underhis umbrella. When they got home they said goodbye and went inside. The next day at schoolI saw a new kid looking around aimlessly. He looked really lost soI started to walk up to him but Edward comes out of nowhere and tackles the new kid to the ground. "EDWARD WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!"I yelled as I run over to them. The new kid looks up and you realize that it's Edward’s cousin Adam. "OW!!! Edward youdidn't have to tackle me so hard." Adam says before noticing Iwas there. "OH!!! Hi Lola haven’t seen you since last year. "He said getting up. Being my usual retarded self, as soon as he stood up I tackle hugged him. "This is your first day back from California and that's all you say?" I told him as a gave him a noogie. "Sorry, Sorry!!! Please stop Lola!!!" Adam said laughing. "Alright you’re free for now any ways. So what are you doing here?” I asked.” Didn’t Edward tell you? I'm moving in with Edward's family and we're going to the same school. I looked at Edward really quickly demanding an explanation.” I wanted it to be a surprise” Edward said quickly because he knew I was mad. "You're forgiven. Any way what class do you have do you have first block?” I said. Adam fumbled with his schedule and replied, "AP Math, Mr. Lincoln." I looked at Edward and we picked up Adam and started running to Mr. Lincoln’s class room.
We got there and I asked Mr. Lincoln if Adam could sit with me and Edward. He approved, he was a new teacher and really didn't know what to do. "Oh my gosh!!!”I'm so glad your here Adam!!! We need to give you a nickname!! “I said really excitedly.”How about Addy!!" Edward said quickly. "No, that's too weird. How about…. Ader?” I said. "I don't like those just call me Adam." Adam mumbled. "OK that's fine I guess.” Edward and I said. I was sitting in-between the two boys and we were doing our transition when the principal came in and asked me to come to his office. I wasn't worried because I didn't do anything wrong.
I sat in the chair and stared at him waiting for him to speak. He looked up and said in a clear, sad voice, “Lola, I'm sorry for what I am about to tell you." His seriousness was scaring me a little. He continued,” Your mother has been involved in a car accident. It was a three car collision, it happened because of a man who ran a red light and well, there weren't any survivors.” I sat there in shock I felt my knees lock and all my muscles tighten but what was worse is that I felt like a knife was twisting in my heart as I felt tears pouring from my eyes. They said I could go to the scene of the accidentor I could go back to class naturally I went to the accident.
When I got there I saw her car smashed in on both sides. There it was again that feeling in my heart and I couldn't move. I saw them putting her into the ambulance, she was lying there lifeless and I couldn't help it, my voice just screamed out involuntarily, "MOM!!! WHY!!! WHY!!!" It was about 3:30 when Adam and Edward found me alone at still at the scene of the accident on the ground crying. They knew what had happened they tried to get me to get up and come home but I wouldn't. "We're not leaving without you.” Edward said. They both sat next to me and held me until I was ready to go. We got into Edward's car and Edward drove. The whole way home Adam held my close as I cried on his shoulder. "Shhhh, it's alright we're here don't worry" Adam kept whispering to me rubbing my back softly. Edward knew exactly how to calm me down. HE started singing my favorite song with Adam to comfort me. When we got there I reached in to my bag for my house key, but they stopped me Adam took my bag from me and brought it into his and Edward's house and brought it to the guest room. Edward took my hand and led me in to his house and sat me down on the couch.” There is no chance in hell that you’re spending the night alone at your house.” Edward told me. Adam and Edward joined me on the couch and we watched movies from when we were kids. This comforted me and held back the tears long enough for me to fall asleep.
