11:45 p.m. I wandered the fogged pavement aimlessly. I had been reinforced here for strange appearances. I'm talking ghosts. It was late October (go figure), so there was a slight chill, but I didn't believe the chill was caused by the weather. Fallen leaves rustled around my feet as I thought, 'Why was I called here, there is nothing to see!' I checked my pda, and it had said 4252 Willowood St. I looked up at the shattered house. It seemed like it used to be an upstate mansion, but now, all that was leftwerethe creaky, hollow remains. The door was dangling off of one hinge, andthe wooden shutters blew relentlesly in the wind. I stepped up to the door, then checked my watch again. 11:55 p.m. I slowly pulled the door aside and stepped into the house. Every step I took, there was a slight creak that followed. I came into the ballroom, and found an old, brass clock that still worked. It ticked all the way up until it said 12:00 midnight. It chimed very loudly, on after another after another. The chimes were so loud, so earsplitting, that my earscould barely hear the soft laughter that followed the chiming. On laugh turned into 10 laughs, then 20 laughs, then 40 laughs until the laughing was almost as earsplitting as the clock's chiming. The house suddenly got freezing. Then, I felt something tugging on my hair. Suddenly after that, the ballroom was filled with hundreds of translucent figures, dancing just above the floor. I couldn't believe my eyes. I took a picture, but the figures didn't show up. However, as I stood there in awe, the noticed me, then disappeared. I started to feel scared, then I heard a sad, begotten voice say, "Why are you here? Get out! Can't you see that if you don't leave, you'll become one of us, doomed to stay in this house forever?!" Then, hundreds of voices in the same tone of voice said, "Get out! Abandon!! GET OUT!!!"
I ran out reluctantly. The next day, I tried to tell the news media and everyone I knew about the occurances of that night, and that the ghosts might threaten the town. But they didn't belive me. A month later the same thing happened again, accept someone went in there and they never came out. I researched this and found out that this happened every night when there was a full moon. So I went there every time there was a Moonlit Night.
