Here we are,
The day before you leave again
We sit in the smoothie shop
Sipping our drinks
I smile and you Smile Back
“Nick” I say quietly
Oh, how I want to tell you how I feel
However, I cant, I just can’t.
“Yeah” he says in a mocking quiet tone
Man how I will miss those Eyes, that hair
That smile
“Mongoose” I giggle
he laughed a bit.
We finished our smoothies and we left the shop
“Sam” he looked at me as we were walking down the street
“Yeah” I responded looking back at him a smile on my lips
“I miss you every time I leave,” he said calmly
“I miss you allot too Nick”
we walked to a park he decided to run up the slide to show off but he fell
I laugh a bit
“nice” he looked up at me he was covered in dirt his shirt now dusted with the red dust from the park gravel below my feet
“hey Sam, you look like you need a hug” he smirked
I instantly knew this was going to be bad so I took of giggling and running away from the dust covered nick
He finally got to me he hugged me covering my new white shirt in the red dusty stuff
I gasped “OMG NICK”
He smirked and laughed “you looked so lonely being the only clean person here”
I smiled knowing that he was just doing it to bug me.
For as long as I could remember he was always bugging me not like his brothers wouldn’t bug me I mean they did allot but nick gave me special attention..
In the bugging sense I mean.
His cell phone rang
I started to walk home
He was to busy on the phone to notice
Or so I thought
“Sam where are you going”
his voice cracked mildly that made me smile a bit
“Home im tired”
he nodded even though I couldn’t see it I knew he did it by the silence
“Im going to walk you” he ran up taking my hand and pulling me along with him all the way to my house
When we arrived at my place I put my hand on the door knob to open it suddenly I was pulled to face him “Sam im going to miss you allot, and ireallykindalikeyou” he said the last part really fast so I didn’t understand
“What was the last part?” he looked down then back up at me and smiled a bit
“Don’t worry about it, I’ll tell you later” I smiled a bit “alright Nick well call me everyday alright?” he smiled and nodded “of course”
He walked off my steps as I walked in still unsure of what he said last.
