One Shot Shikamaru

It was a bright beautiful day, a great day to go for a walk. You headed out the door and starting walking to the park. You sat down the bench and watch the people pass by and as you sat, you saw the sunlight dance across the water.It was a beautiful sight.Then all of sudden your name was being called. You turned your head to see who was calling you, it turned out to be one of your best friends Ino.
"Hey_ come with me hurry!"said Ino.
You got up and walked to Ino.
"What's up?"you replied.
"Come on hurry!"she said back.
"Not aless you tell me why"you shot back.
"Fine"she said"I'm going to the BBQ to meet Choji and Shikamaru for lunch and your coming!"
"I don't think so, I know what your up to so I don't think so" you shot back again.
"Oh come on this is your chance to tell him and anyways you guys make such a cute couple" she screamed.
"Uhm how about NO!" you said angerly."I'm not going to ruin my friendship and what if he doesn't like me back the way I like him."
"Are you kidding me, I know he likes you back, knowing him he is just being shy because he thinks that you might not like him back."Ino shot back .
You knew that this argument could go on forever like this and really didn't want to stand all day in the middle park all day.
"Your not going to leave me alone are you until I come,I am I right?"you said quietly.
"Right"Said Ino.
"Fine I'll go, happy?"you said back.
She smiled and pulled you toward the BBQ, you were lost in thought,while walking. Ino was the only friend who knew, who knew who you liked and she was just dieing to set you up.
You pulled from your thoughts when Ino hit your side with herelbow. You looked up and Choji and Shikamaru waiting outside for you guys.
"Hey Ino what to you so long? I'm hungry"said Choji.
"Oh I just had to pick up someone"she said smiled happly at you.
Choji looked over to you"Hey _, how you doing?"
"Hi Choji, i'm doing fine thanks" you replied back and smiled sweetly as you could, but inside you were mad. Why did Ino do this to you, you thought then you looked over to were Shikamaru was he leaning against the BBQ.
The sunlight must of hit the right spot because the way he looked, you thought I'm dieing he looks so hot right now. That's right you had major crush on Shikamaru ever since you were kids. Both of your parnets were close friends so that's how you guys met.
"Uhm hey Shikamaru" you said with ablush then turned your head quickly so he weren't see.
"Hey_"Shikamaru said. You looked backed to face him then all of sudden you thought you saw a little spark in his eyes when he said your name.
"Hey you guys can we going in order now I'm hungry"complained Choji.
"Yeah sure"said Shikamaru.
All of you finally walked in The BBQ sat down in booth with a window next it.
You all began to chat so food arrived you were all having a great time,then all of sudden you saw out of the corner of eyes Ino she had a big smile on her face, you thought this not good.Before you could say a thing Ino did.
"Well I better get going but I need help with something, hey Choji can you help me?"she said.
"Yeah sure"replied Choji.
"C- later "she said back you while getting up out the booth then before she left she winked a you and said "Have fun you two" then walked outside the door.
You were so mad at her right now, you then looked at Shikamaru something about him today was different then normal he looked distant then normally and he didn't complain at all he was just quiet this was something that you never seen this side of him before, so you decide to leave as well then you could walk around and cool off what Ino did to you.
"Well Shikamaru I better getting going as well I've got chores to do as well" you said.
Then all of sudden looked at with look on his face like he was deciding to ask you something. You got up and start to walk tothe door when all of sudden someone grabbed your arm,you looked down it was Shikamaru.
"Can I walk you home then?"he said.
You were shocked you never thought Shikamaru would ever walk you home.
"Sure"you replied with hint of blush.Then Shikamaru smiled at you and got up and you two headed out door, while you guys walked you guys talked abit and time started to fly by. Then all of sudden you were at you front door then felt sad because you were just have a great time.You looked at the door then said
" Well I had great time thanks BBQ bye c-ya tomorrow"
you were about to open the door when all of sudden Shikamaru took your arm and swung you around and then all sudden you lips crushed together it was like fireworks and was something like you never exprince before it was like a magic or like a fairytale. Then you both pulled away slowly to catch your breath.
"_ I Love You"Shikamaru said sweetly to you. You were shocked you never imaged that Shikamaru would fall with you, you were like the girl next door.
"Please don't saying anything, well at leats not yet, let explain, you see you are different from any girl I ever met. Every girl I meet are so annoying and bossy but you sweet, kind and caring. I fell for you when I just became a genin and had my first mission, that was to bring Sasuke aback but I failed and hurt my squad but though the whole thing you were always there and and told me that I shouldn't give up yet and that not everything goes as planed. You helped out Naruto, Neji, Choji, Kiba and Akamaru while they in hospital and I saw how much you grown in such amount of time,then after all this time I been falling hard for you." he finally said. You were so shocked with everything it took you awhile to come down and take everything in, finally it hit you that Ino was right he did like you back. Ithad been a few minutes since he said anything to you and the look in hiseyes were worried now because you didn't say anything yet.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't of said anything " he said sadly, he was about walk away, when you finally to his arm.
"Wait don't go I Love You too" you said back " I was just in shock when you told me that you love me." You started to cry because you knew that felt the same for you. Shikamaru then held you close and kissed the top of your head. You then looked up and kissed once more, it lasted for a long time. You then finally broke apart and smiled at each other.
"So then do you want to go outto night as are first date!" Shikamaru asked.
"YES!!!"you replied.
You were so happy, finally you were going on date with the guy you loved.
"I'll pick you up around 6:00 p.m ok?"he asked.
"Alright" you replied.
He then kissed you again, then walked away with a smirk on his face. You went inside and ran into you room and picked up the phone and called Ino and told her that you had your first date with Shikamaru tonight.
