Introduction: Once a girl, now a fishgirl?

Ellise felt something slimy gripping her ankles as she continued to sink downwards into the dark ocean. She tried swimming to the surface, but a weight kept pulling her to the ocean floor. All of a sudden, she could hear some sort of enchanted music being played. However, Ellise could not figure out where it was coming from. Everything went black and Ellise never reached the surface in time.
"Is she awake, Alec?" a bubbly sing-song voice questioned. Ellise stirred in the spongy silk bed as she cried out for Grandfather Louis. "When she does wake up, she will be in for a surprise." Alec replied. Ellise's eyelids flickered to reveal a violet tail flickering nervously. As she looked up her eyes met a pair of dazzling topaz. Ellise flinched back in shock. "Calm down, I'm Alec and this is Nina." Alec pointed to a beautiful goddess with a sparkling blue tail and long golden locks of hair.
