Then, a knock came to the door. Kida looked at the door from her living room where she was sitting. She got up and yawned. Long day. She wasn’t even thinking about who could be at her door at this hour. It was dark out now. She had her mind on the academy. Kida opened the door to see Kakashi. Kida looked at him surprised, then that turned to anger. “ Hey there.” Kakashi said smiling under his mask. “ Ugh.” Kida slammed the door. When she turned around Kakashi was in her house right in front of her. Kida looked a him. “ What do you want.” “ I would like to apologize. Usually in fights my people insult each other.” Kakashi said shrugging. “ Yes I know that.” Kida said sharply. Kakashi stared at her. Nothing else to say. A low growl came from upstairs. Kida and Kakashi broke their gaze from each other and looked up. Kida smiled at Pouge who was standing at the top of the stairs. Kakashi saw her smile. His mind went in all directions and his heart hurt. “ I see you like your present.” Kakashi said returning his eyes to Kida. She did the same. Kida completely forgot the Kakashi bought her Pouge. Kida was the one speechless this time. Kakashi smiled under his mask and walked to her living room. Kida and Pouge looked at each other. Kida rolled her eyes and Pouge sat at the steps. He was to small to go up and down them. Kida walked to her dinning room table where Kakashi had taken her seat and was reading her academy brochure. Kida snatched from his hands. “ Do you mind?” Kakashi looked at her. “ Are you really going to send him there?” Kida looked at the paper in her hands. “ I don’t know yet.” Kakashi stood and stretched. “Tea?’ Kida offered. Kakashi looked at her. “Please.” Kida made tea and they both sat down and talked for hours. They had a few arguments start up that made Pouge growl. But most of it was bliss and laughter. After a laughing burst at Kakashi’s years in the academy, Kida took a sip of some tea the she made herself. It was one of the things she was taught. Her Sensei was a master at Herboligy among other things. The smell was completely different from the taste. The scent was serenity and the taste was joy. Kakashi managed to take a sip every now and then when Kida wasn’t looking. She had to fill his cup a couple times.
While Kida was taking a sip Kakashi looked at her. When Kida opened her eyes from the sip she looked back at Kakashi. They just stared at each other. Kida was swimming in Kakashi’s black eyes. The mystery they exerted. Kakashi was staring at her eyes to, but what he was seeing in the was a mystery. Kakashi suddenly rose. Kida snapped out of it. “ I should be going.” Kida smiled and walked him to the door. As he was leaving threw the door he grabbed Kida lightly around the waist and put his hand on her face. Kida went numb in his arms. They stared at each other again. Then Kakashi let go and walked away. Kida was left standing at the door. Suddenly cold. Kida closed the door and walked up the stairs. Pouge was watching their moment and was excited for some odd reason. Kida looked at him confused. “ What?” Pouge just wagged and hoped around. Then Kida smiled, she had an idea to get back at Pouge for snooping. “ Bath time.” She said. Pouge tilted his head. Kida scooped him up and washed him in the bathroom sink. The whole time Pouge seemed to enjoy the bath. Some payback. Kida dried him off with a towel and set him back on the bed. Kida then took a shower. After wards she got out and put on her silk nightgown that flowed around every curve. Kida got in her bed beside Pouge and he hobbled down from his pillow and snuggled up by Kida’s stomach. They both slept.
