~Always and Forever~ {Kakashi Hatake} -Chapter 38: The Sound Five-

~Friday Morning~

"HEY! VICTORIA! WAKE UP AND HURRY ON OUT OF THERE, YOU LAZY BUTT," someone yelled from the outside of my door. It was followed by loud banging and more yelling, "I SAID WAKE UP! ARE YOU DEAF OR SOMETHING?!"

"Ugh, great," I grumbled and got out of bed. I walked over to the door and opened it, in front of me stood a girl that couldn't be older than me with a scowl on her face.

"What time is it?" I yawned.

"7:30, Lord Orochimaru sent me to wake you," the girl sneered. Isn't she a ray of sunshine…

"Thanks for the wake-up call… What's your name anyway?
"Tayuya of the Sound Five," she looked me over and then left.

That was a pleasant way to start my morning. I yawned again and headed into the bathroom. I changed into my training clothes and left my room.

I found myself in a kitchen-type room, there was a food tray set on the table. A name card with my name printed on it was placed next to the tray. I guess this is for me then.

No one had called me after the Tayuya girl, so I decided to explore the place. From my memory, I found my way back to Uncle Maru's lab/lounge. To my surprise, the door was not locked, but left open. I took a quick peek inside and didn't see anyone so I continued in. The room felt empty, a bit creepy, but almost safe, quite an interesting feeling really. I wasn't looking for anything in particular and was careful not to touch the dangerous things.

Something in the back of the room caught my eye. When I saw what it was, it took my breath away. A tear rolled down my cheek as I stared at it. I quickly wiped it away.

Minutes passed before my legs moved. I didn't tell them where to take me; it was like I was in a daze. My mind still on what I had seen. My legs carried me to the kitchen and I took a seat. Soon afterward, someone came in asking for me.

"You must be Victoria. I am Kidomaru, of the Sound Five. I've been ordered by Lord Orochimaru to take you to the training area," he told me.

"Oh, I see. Alright then, show me to the training area, Kidomaru is it?" I politely responded.

I followed him outside to a wide open field surrounded by trees. At first glance it looked like we were the only ones here, though I saw a few shinobi in the trees.

Kidomaru got down on one leg and bowed, "Lord Orochimaru, I have brought Victoria."

"Thank you, Kidomaru," Uncle Maru appeared out of the shadows and turned his attention to me, "Good morning, Princess, I hope you slept well and found everything you needed."

"Oh yes, thank you, Uncle Maru," I smiled nervously.

"Good. So I'm sure you've met some of my Sound Five ninja. They are the elite ninjas here."

"I've met a couple of them… so they're the elite, very interesting. Now, where's Kimimaro?"

"Anxious to start aren't you?" he laughed, "Kimimaro will be here shortly. In the meantime, I'll introduce you to the rest of the Sound Five."

"Up there, is Sakon and Ukon," Uncle Maru pointed to a white haired guy and the other one… attached?

Next he motioned for a rather large man with orange hair, "This is Jirobo. Intimidating, huh?"

Hmm, so there's Tayuya, Kidomaru, Sakon/Ukon, and Jirobo. Wait… is that four or five?! O.o

While I was contemplating, Kimimaro finally arrived. He whispered something to Orochimaru before coming to me.

"Good morning, Victoria. I'm ready when you are," Kimimaro got into a fighting stance.

Everyone cleared out of the field except Uncle Maru.

He gave a stern look to Kimimaro and then informed me of the rules. (No killing, basically.)

Right before he left, Uncle Maru added one more thing, "Kimimaro is the last of the Sound Five and also its leader. I know you won't have much of a problem, though."

Okay then, Sakon and Ukon count as 1 person. And wow, the leader, huh? This should be interesting, indeed.
