It was 5 am.Hiei was sound asleep so I put on my kimono and went on the beach.A girl with curly green hair and red eyes was waiting there smoking.
Chiyo:right on time,Monoka...
Monoka:Are you sure about this?I mean...
chiyo:yes?
monoka:...it just started...if...
chiyo:sorry to intrerupt you,Monoka,but I'm positive of this...besides...it won't have an impact on anyone.She's gonna stay in an egg and she's gonna grow in it.I'll always visit it and she'll always be connected to my mind but she'll have to stay in the egg for 3 years...
monoka:so she'll be born mature?it will be a bigger shock for everyone in the end but...guess it's better that way...

I stayed on the ground and started concentrating.My body became only light.A few seconds later there was an egg laying in my hands.I teleported myself and Monoka to the underwater cave from the lake at home.Mizukasha's statue was the stone statue of a woman who was holding her hands as if she was embracing something.When I placed the egg in her arms the stone wings covered them.I placed a drop of my blood on the egg.

Taka left fast to the restaurant.I went back to the house veranda and took a seat on the braided chairs.Several minutes later a cup of cofee,some toast and a pile of paper was brough.I started examining them.Taka sent more than just last-night's reports.She brought the whole months's reports.I started comparing them to previous reports.This year the island cashed in more than it did in the previous years during the Kokuou festival...

I couldn't remember much.I didn't care much.I had a great time and felt relaxed after a long time.When I opened my eyes and looked next to me,Chiyo wasn't there
hiei:a dream?
I looked in the room.The kimono she wore last night was still there.So it wasn't a dream afterall.I took a bath and changed in a new kimono then I went out of the room.On the veranda,Chiyo was sitting,looking at some papers and drinking coffee.
chiyo:good morning...
She said that without even moving a muscle.she did even blink but she felt my presence.
hiei:morning.what's that?
chiyo:some reports.I'm comparing last-night's gathering,the number of people,prices,cashing and all...
hiei:why?
chiyo:I'm the legal owner of the island and I'm in charge of everything that moves or doesn't around here.if something goes wrong it's my fault...
hiei:so?did anything go wrong?
chiyo:no.the exact opposite...it went good...but it's go too good...
hiei:too good?
chiyo:ever since I made it a touristical attraction I've been keeping the island on the same bussiness line.it goes great but not perfect.if it doesn't go good then the material is of bad quality.if it goes to good then the material is too common and it's like a mass productionthing.so that's not good either.sothe island has to keep on the line where it's popular but not famous...

chiyo:guess I am...I never felt good if I wasn't aware of all the advantages and dangers...so that makes me happy I can read minds...
hiei:you sure are weird...guess it's a good thing you're not common...

chiyo:yes.my mother always has crimson-red lips.that means she loves to taste blood...My hair is also crimson-red,not pinkish-red,like my brother.that means I love to feel blood...maybe that explains the sadist nature...I wonder how...?
