Twisted Tales [Death Note] 1- Unlucky

You woke up and you were in a room you didn't recognize. The walls were light blue, there was a small bookshelf across from you, and a toy train on the floor.Your soaking wet clothes were gone, and you were in a baggy white pajamashirt with your nowlonger purple hair dripping water onto your back.Luckily, you still had your mostly dry underwear on or you would be freaking out. You sat up, being thankful that the shirt pockets mostly covered you. (Your poor defensless bra didn't make it. So sad. Why do thegood die young, why?!?!) You rubbed the back of your head, noticing you didn't feel anything touch the back of your head. Quickly, you put your hand on your forehead and sighed with relief. It was a bandage. The door creaked open and you turned your head towards whoever was walking inside. It was Near and Ella! "Thank god you're okay Blizzard, thank you so much for getting that cat for me!!!!" Ella practically squeaked out the sentence, and hugged you.
"How did you guys find me...?" Near suddenly spoke up. "Well, I was awake when you walked out of your room and saw you, and I followed you. I waited outside the door of the toy store you went to, and saw you walk out. When I saw you hurt your knee,I was about to run over and help, but you passed out. I actually had to carry you back to the orphanage, and once I got there, I put you down on my bedroom floor I tried to get someone to help by waking people up, but nobody wanted to help, and the nursedidn't arriveyet. I used my medical skills to bandage your head in time so that you wouldn't go into a coma for god knows how long. I finally got to your room after bandaging your head and I told Ella about the whole situation, she came as soon as possible." You stared in awe. "You did all that for me?" "That's what friends do... right?" "Friends..." you whispered to yourself, and smiled.
"Er... hey Near, I have a question." Ella spoke up. "Yes, what is it?" "Was it you who... y'know... took off her clothes and put the shirt on her?" You suddenly made a disgusted face at Ella. "Ella, that's not a polite thing to ask someone who saved me like that! Besides, even if he did, he doesn't think that way. He did it out of kindness and you should respect him." Near didn't even get a chance to talk, but he gave you a small smile. "Oh, alright. Sorry Near." You smiled triumphantly with your hands on your hips in a hero pose. Ella giggled, making you flinch a little bit. "So, yeah, I'm gonna go back to myroom so I can get into some decent clothes. Thanks Near!" You grabbed your wet clothes and headed back to your room, avoiding whistling perverts. Once you got there, you threw your wet clothes in the hamper beside the closet and searched your room for a cool outfit. (Roger let you shop online since your clothes were burned in the fire)

You looked at the calendar. 'Wow, I was out for 3 days. 4 days until Near's birthday, and then I join the SPK!' You smiled, ignoring weird looks from Ella. She was reading that ridiculous book about horses again. You couldn't help but laugh just a little bit. Suddenly,you thought about Mello and Matt and wondered where they could be at the moment. Maybe they were thinking about Wammy's right now. You crossed your fingers hoping that they wouldn't forget you, no matter what. At least, for the time being, you were sure that you would never forget them. Not if the world depended on it.
