French Vanilla Ice Cream With Cheese ~Chapter 4: Legend of The Silver Fox~
Recap: You started to embrace Yuki. ~Story Start~ As I sat there embracing Yuki and expecting to poof into a silver fox nothing happened. Yuki seemed really tense himself, for what reason I don’t know, for now I want to find out why I didn’t shift. After what seemed like hours we both finally parted for air. It was obvious I was redder than a tomato right now. “I guess I better get you home”, Yuki said a bit disappointed. “I guess so”, a bit disappointed myself knowing I have no one to go home to anymore. We both got back in the car and headed for my house *cough* mansion*couch* and he parked in front of stair to the door. “I’ll see you tomorrow Saya”, Yuki sweetly said as he kissed me goodnight. “See you later Yuki.” Then I got out and Yuki watched me walk into my house *cough* mansion *cough* not before seeing me blow him a kiss and him doing the same back then driving off. ~Yuki’s POV (me: WOO!)~ I couldn’t concentrate at all on the way back to Shigure’s house. My mind kept picking at why I didn’t transform when Saya hugged me. “Mabe…no way! It can’t be! She couldn’t possibly…but how could she hug me and I didn’t transform at all? This is really weird. I’ll have to discuss this with Shigure as soon as I get home.” I pulled up to all too familiar house and parked my car. I walked into the house and went straight to Shigure’s office. I knocked on the door and heard a little “Come in”. I walked in and sat next to Shigure at his desk. “We need to talk.” “What about”, he asked turning form his computer screen to look at me. “Saya, my girlfriend…” I started but was interrupted. “Oh lord Yuki?! You have a GIRLFRIEND!? Congrads!!! “, Shigure started to squeal about. “AHEM!” “Oh right sorry”, he said settling down…for now. “Anyways, I hugged her and I didn’t transform!” Shigure stared at me like I was crazy and furrowed his brows for a few minutes, then slowly got up and went over to his book shelf pulling out a black book and stared flipping through the pages mumbling some gibberish I couldn’t quite catch. He found what he was looking and placed the book in front of me and pointed to the title “The Silver Fox” with a picture of a silver fox below it. I slowly began to read the story of the silver fox and was shocked to find out what I read. (ok I’m gonna repost the story for all you lazy asses who don’t like to go back and reread stuff you skipped, because I’m in a good mood and nice like that) Once upon a time God said to the animals, “I’m inviting you all to my banquet tomorrow night. So don’t be late.” Hearing that the mischievous rat lied to his partner the cat saying the banquet will be the day after tomorrow. Then the rat lied to his other partner the silver fox saying the banquet will be by the sacred lake. After hearing this the fox and cat went home, both dreaming of the wonderful banquet. The day of the banquet the rat rode on the back of the ox and nimbly jumped off it’s back at the gates to the banquet as the other animals followed. While the animals were at the banquet the silver fox waited by the lake for the banquet that’ll never come as the cat dreamed of the banquet that’ll never happen the next day. “So the legend is true…”, Yuki mumbled still shocked. “The Silver Fox has finally been born”, Shigure said in a serious tone. I flipped a page and read more and come to find something I never thought would be in there. The silver fox shall come to be born into the world. It’s existence can bring a world of chaos or a world of peace. The fox’s spirit will remain asleep till it’s time for it to once again awake into the world. When that happens? No on will never know. If chaos befalls the world, all will burn and perish. If peace befall the world all will be calm and steady. Only GOD and the fox may decide the world’s fate. I froze and reread everything obviously stunned as Shigure kept his head low and remained quiet. I knew then that I’ll have to talk to Saya tomorrow. But for now I need rest. I borrowed the book from Shigure and went up to my room, falling asleep looking at the picture of a girl who looked exactly like Saya… End for now!
