The moon, silent as the dark clouds, consumed the mystic orb that until now had filled the night sky. Slowly the entire surface of the large winter moon was covered. A chilled breeze blew the dark hair of a man standing on the harbour as he listened to the push and pull of the water. Only two things on this man’s mind: escape and revenge. First he needed to do was escape from the monster that controlled him through a complicated contract. For that he would also need to complete his second task, to kill the monster that had taken his beloved Luna. Just as the clouds had taken the moon... 'Now now Kaiser, still angry?' said a cold taunting voice that snapped Kaiser out of his thoughts. 'Leave me alone Lucifer, I won’t work, not tonight.' Kaiser replied his voice slowly failing him. the shadows twisted slightly, 'emotions are a weakness, forget them Kaiser' Lucifer said coldly with a sneer as the shadows twisted into the form of a man and Lucifer stepped out of the darkness to face Kaiser drake who refused to turn and face Lucifer the creature that destroyed his life, he turned to the tall man, this time he had chosen his true form. Kaiser flinched as he looked into the eyes of Lucifer, the devil himself. The cold blood red eyes was the focus point on Lucifer’s face, the colour reflected all the horrible things that Kaiser has done in the past for this monster. "Tsk tsk, Kaiser if disobey me there will be consequences" Lucifer said coldly and calmly. Kaiser felt a deep primeval fear deep inside rise to a boil, "what is it?' Kaiser asked barely containing the urge to flee. Lucifer looked at Kaiser and laughed then shook his head "I need you to retrieve a certain book from a few people that believe they can change their mortal fates." Lucifer said his hands clasped tightly behind his back and looking at the moon nervously. "How can they do that with a book?"Kaiser asked, Lucifer was acting strangely agitated, "the book is from the archive of souls, never are mortals supposed to enter the archive...even that is reason for severe punishment, but to steal a book is unexpectedly stupid" Lucifer said getting angry, most likely because of the lower demons guarding the archive got tricked, lower level demons aren’t known for their intelligence. "so...you’re in trouble then" Kaiser said with a smirk knowing that Lucifer was at a moment of distress and Lucifer himself couldn’t come to earth for extended periods, no longer than a day in fact, and most demons couldn’t go in most private buildings unless summoned there. So Kaiser must be his only choice."So my little grim reaper, those pathetic mortals who dare to escape with the book.Are your tagets" Lucifer finished then returned to his shadow form and disappeared into the shadows and most likely his office down below...And so Kaiser was left to wonder how the hell he was to find...Lucifer never even said HOW MANY had escaped or where he thought they went...Kaiser just decided to go back to his apartment and rest until Lucifer got pissed or sent him more details.That and listen and read the news were the only things he could do at the moment...
