"Once long, long ago there lived four rulers. Each of them had a diffrent power. Each of them had a power of one of the four elements. The first one had the pwer of Earth. He was the leader of the four. His name was Ermentos. He was a holy stone."
"Wait a stone? Why a stone??? How can a sone be a boy???"
"That... Is a good question, but never the less he was a stone. The second one had the power of Water. Her name was Serpenta. She-"
"She?"
"Yes. She was a Water Snake. The third one had the power of Fire. His name was Flameous. He was a Fire Pheonix. The last one had the power of Thundor. Her name was Thundora. She was a Dragon.
"Dragon?"
"Yes... A Dragon. The four lived in peace and harmony, and they planned to do so for the rest of there lives. Until they started to get lonely. They relized the the world that they lived on should not only hold them, but others, other creatures, other lives. So with the power of four-"
"What is the power of four?"
"Legend says that the power of the four elements could do almost anything."
"Almost?"
"Well the only thing that it couldn't do was bring back the dead, but the power of five could. It could if there was five elements. Any way... So with the power of four they started to create other beings. They took stones to make these creatures bones, water to make their blood, soil to make their flesh, and the bark of the holy tree to make their skin. The only thing that these creatures were missing was emotion. So the four put their own emotion into them. That is where everything went wrong..."
"Then what happend?"
"I'll tell you tomorrow at bed time. Now you two get to bed.
"But mom-"
"Sheeta! Don't complain"
"Sorry" Sheeta said not looking at her mom's eyes, but at the ground where her mothers scales slithered accross the ground.
" Mommy?"
" What is it Fay-fay?"
" Is that where we came from?" Fay-fay looked up into his mom's eye's.
" No darling we just appeared on this earth not knowing why we came"
"Okay mommy" Fay-fay yawned. " Good night."
"Good night Sheeta, Good night Fay-fay." She turned off the light, and closed the door.
" Serpenta. Serpenta are you there?"
" I'm right here Ermentos." Serpenta slithered out from the darkness. "Where is-"
"I'm coming!!!" Loud flapping wings were heard as the dark night turned bright. A huge fire pheonix had just arrived.
" Flameous!!! You need to work on your entrance!" Serpenta whispered as loud as she could.
" And why is that?" Flameous looked offended.
" Because you know that Sheeta, and Fay-fay are sleeping at this hour!" Serpenta wanted to scream.
" What is all of the noise about" A huge dragon soundlessly flew in.
" Sup Dora."
" Don't call me that my name is Thundora." Thundora, and Flameous began to bicker. Serpenta, and Ermentos could do nothing but stare at them...
"What are you two looking at?" Flameous snapped at the two of them. Bickering with Thundora always puts him in a bad mood.
"Nothing." Serpenta said with a straight face still staring.
" Alright that's it you two stop bickering or you'll both wake up Sheeta, and Fay-fay! And if you do you will have to tell them a bed time story, and see how you like it!" Serpenta yelled as loud as she could without bothering Sheeta, or Fay-fay.
"Okay, she's right." Thundora sighed. Everyone was quiet. Serpenta almost expected them to start fighting again.
Ermentos broke the silence. "Alright now that everyone is here lets get down to buissness. Sepenta have you told Sheeta, and Fay-fay what your name is?"
"No sir, Fay-fay thinks that my name is mommy, but Sheeta is a little suspicios." Serpenta straightened up.
"Have you told them the Legend yet?" Ermentos turned to face Serpenta. Even though he had no face Sepenta knew that he was curious.
"I have begun, but I heard you coming, and you know Sheeta can hear footsteps a mile away so." Sepenta looked at the ground almost ashamed of herself.
" Understood. Serpenta I have some bad news." Ermentos murmered.
Serpenta looked up. "What is it?"
" He knows." This time you could barly hear him.
" Exuse me?" Serpenta looked puzzeled.
"He knows about Sheeta and Fay-fay. That is why they ended up on the beach. Now they are in grave danger. I'm sorry Serpenta, but... You must tell them about their true destiny, before it is to late." Serpenta said nothing. "He has recruited him."
Sepenta looked up again. " Him?" Serpenta gasped. "You don't mean!" Ermontos nodded.
"Yes. Yes I do."
