imprinting is hilarious (jacob black) 1/intro

i've never thought a could have a worse day than when i threw up all over my fith grade crush at school. but boy i was wrong.
"What do you mean we're moving!!" i screamed at my mother.
"your father got a job transfur to washington. it will be good for us to start out new."she reasuredme not once rasing her voice. Grace Brown my abdoptive mother almost never raised her voice. She was about 5'2 with golden skin and blue eyes and chestnut brown hair that was always neatly in place.
"but mom!" ashleywhined "just because she-" she pointed her finger accusingly at me "-messed up doesn't mean we have to suffer!" god i hate that girl. Ashley Brown was the all-american bitch. short like her mother blond haired blue eyed and had an attitude big enough to sink the titanic.
"i think the move would be cool" Jason said hopping on to the couch. "and it wasn't Charlie's fault. she didn't ask for it to happen." Jason was my favorite member of the family. he's the only who really accepted me fully. and he was the only one taller than me. he was about 6'1 with a football players figure and a baby face that was irrisistable to the ladies.
"you would agree with Charlotte" Ashley narrowed her eyes at him.
incase your confused; my name is Charlie, or if i'm introuble Charlotte, and if your smart enough to put two and two together yes my full name is Charlie Brown. i know it's amusing, but trust me i'm not bald and i hate the color yellow.... but i have a cat named Snoppy!
"all right all right" Andrew Brown my adoptive father came in just in time. he was about 6'2 with the same build as Jason but with blond hair and brown eyes. "we move in a week so after dinner start packing." and with that we knew it was final. we were going to washington.

a week later the house was empty, the movers had gone all ready and it was time to say good bye. not that i really had any one to say good bye to. Jason was the only one my age i talked to and he was going with me.
"i'm going to miss you guys soo much!" Ashley blubberd to her friends she wasn't really crying we all knew she didn't care if her friends died just as long as she still stayed queen bee.
i rolled my eyes and climbed into the rental van. everbody's cars were already at the new house waiting for us. "can we go?" i asked for the seventh time
"hold your horses Chuck" Jason said climbing in next to me. "are you looking forward to the flight that much?"

i snorted. "yeah a ten hour non-stop flight from New York to Washington what's not to love?" he laughed at me
"just sleep the whole time Chuck"
