You walked up to your family and saw that Dante and JoAnna werent there. You figured it would look wierd if they were, so you didnt really mind. You walked up from behind and no one noticed you, or it seemed. You liked it that way and just hung back against the wall, waiting for the prince to show up. Your mother turned around once you sgihed. You didnt mean to catch her attention, you were just bored.
"OH well, nice of you to show up I- What dress have you got on?! thats nothing like what i make!! Where did you get it?! Alice, do you think we have time to switch dresses with your sister? The rpicne cant see her in a more lovely dress than you!" Your mother yelled at you and then kindly refered to Alice.
"Mother i bet i know where she got this! She stole it! She was gone for like 3 days and must have gone out to steal it!"
"Woah! I didnt steal this! ALexander bought it for me. He came and got me for like 3 days and we spent them together!!! Get off me!" You said as Alice examined your dress. he freinds scwoled at you.
"Well, __________, there is absoulteyl no point for you to be wearing this! Let alone going with us on this magnifcent tour! Stay back and dont talk to the prince. Tonight is Alice's night and we dont need someone like you butting in." she said. You figuered being with Alexander would lighten her up a bit, but apprently she couldnt care less if she new Alice had a shot with the Prince.
"Fine, i will be glad to. Maybe i will even sneak off half way through!"
"Good! WE will get to the library, so just shove your nose in a book for an hour!" ALice said and her freinds giggled.
"Atleast i know how to read one!" you said back.
"_____ stop yelling at your sister. ALice sweety, calm down in case the prince is near by." your mother whispered the last part. You father stood there kind of in LaLa land. He wasnt proud of you, but he certainly was nothing like your mother. YOu knew they both didnt hate you enough to wish you dead, or atelast your father anyway...your mother had never really wanted any more children after Alice and never really cared for you. Your father eventually adopted this personna so you just ignroed him. It was almost like a misundertstood relationship. But you got over it, you had Dante and his fiancee who later became a good freind of yours. So you ignored the rest of the family and decided it would be fun to just watch Anton with your sister, mother, and her two freinds.
When he fianlly arrived, he was in the most luxurious attire. He walked up, greeted the family and you stayed agaisnt the wall. He nodded his head towards you and you did it back, but with an annoyed look. Alice was going gaga over this man.
"Hello malord. You look lovely!" she said and bowed.
"Thank you..and so do you." he said and her two freinds bowed with their noses almost touching the floor. He seemed to ignore them.
He bgean to walk and said to your father, "Sir, you need to listen to most of this, so i suggest you come up with me incase of any questions."
"Yes malord" he said and walked up near him and Anton began to talk about the bulding.He talked about the history and pointed things out to your father regarding him job. Anton evenautlly let your sister and one of her freinds hang off of his arms. The other one just seemd to be happy being near him. They giggled as they walked.
"Oh you are so strong malord. I like my men strong." said Alice.
"WEll thats very lovely, Ashely."
"Its Alice."
"Right" he said and she soudned a bit annoyed but kept acting like a ditz. YOu were consumed in the leovelyness of the castle. Its history was astounding and you looked at the art on the walls and ceilings. You sort of alienated from the group and got closer to a wall and looked at the paintings that were painted on it as you walked.
"My lord, tell me, does a wonderful man like you have a lovely woman?"
"No, not yet. I am working on it though..." he said a little loudly. You just looked out the window you came across and saw the lightened city from its flaming candles that was posted on each home.
"OH you are! You only deserve the best sir. Someone who would do all your biddings"
"YEs thats what i have servants for. I am looking for a partner."
"Oh Alice is a very lovely lady sir! She is the hit of the town!" said one of her freinds. Your mother looked like a kid at a candy store, listening in while she examined the castle. Its like she was thinking all of this would be hers soon and she couldnt wait to have it.
"Well i guess that makes me alucky man, then?" he said playing along.
"Oh, well if you say so!" said Alice. You saw a bit of greed in her face.
"So Alice, have you enjoyed your stay here?"
"Oh ofcourse! You have no idea Malord, no idea! I love it!"
"Well i should assume you to stay longer with your fathers new job."
"REally! You think so?! I would LOVE that!" she said very happily
"Good, thats what i like tohear. i havent heard anything from your sister tongiht, does she enjoy her stay as well?"
"dont worry about her. She is engaged to some man and is in her own little world about it. Poor thing acts like she belongs in a pig pen, proably doesnt even noticed we moved." She said quickly.
"Oh so is that why she is so quite, lost in the world of love?" he said, just staring ahead, taliing to mostley Alice now.
"Oh well um yes thats right. I dont have any man at the moment see, thats why i can actually pay attention. Every word of yours should be listend too malord. I apologize for her ignorance."
"Oh well thats quite alright." he said trying to egg her on. As you got to more parts of the castle, anton pointed out a bunch of things to your father and ALice looked at him admiringly. You saw her dart her freind a little death glare, meaning that she needed to let go of his arm so it was just the two of them. Then you finally passed that little stair way you saw earlier, but with two guards now.
"Malord, where does that go?" said your father.
"Well i would think you need to know. It leads to mine and my parents room. Its hidden most of the time so we are safe up there." he said
"Oh thats genious my lord! May we go up there?"
"No Alice, we cant right now. Too many people.
"Oh of course!" she said a little dissapointed. You realized now you were heading for the library. You got excited and actually got near the group, ready to go in. Once they opened the door, everyone seemed slightly confused. (this is what you saw:)


"Now i know you all are proballly confused but this is the royal meeting room. If we have to meet anyone from a froeign country or someone high in power, we talk over in here. Now follow me throuh these archways...and then the real library will be there." he said and led you into the little archways and you were in a little room with high windows and two large doors infront. When he opened you decided you wanted to stick your nose in every book, but that would take a lifetime and a half...



You were breathtaken by its beatuy. There was like little ally ways that led to more ally ways full of books. You thought your family would be bored with this, but actully looked interested.
"Now if your wondering why we have so many books, its becuase they are all collected everyhwere. We have foreign books that are jam packed with information. The Ricard castle is wdiely known for its vast knowledge wtih books. We have philosphers all over coming to seek out infomration here...i think we are going to open this to the public soon if im not mistaken..."Anton said again and you just wanderd off. You looked at tall the books and everyone else seemed to stay near Atnon, but still looking. You were off looking everywhere. There were tons of people in here that seemed unaffected by Anton's prsence, except for a bow from everyone at the same time. (in my little world there are a bunch of desks in the middle) There were scholars and maids all about. Anton seemed pleased with your happy reaction. You had the biggest grin about your face. You were so exctied about this. You loved history and couldnt wait to just read. As ALice saw that fact that you were wandering very far off, she took the chance and said, "Malord, lets go see more of the castle. I am really loving this!"
"YEs, go get your sister-"
"no sir, its alright, she doesnt need to come. She is happy!" she said and her freinds all led, well pushed, Anton out of the library and you looked at him for once and smiled a kind of, i told you so, smile and he rolled his eyes as he had to go walking off with the girls. You took this time alone and decided to just walk ariund the vast allyways and familirze yourself with this place....eventualy he would come back looking for you...until then you enojyed your time alone....
