So Andy and Gerard were on their way to the library, as the rest of them were charging into the empty hospital wing.
“You know guys- I really liked it…” Ray started the introduction to the first song.
“Where the hell?” Bob said, “Upt, they‘re makin‘ it in her room.”
“Not likely…well…what‘s that?” Lori said going over to the card on Gerard’s bed. She read it out loud as the rest of the boys gathered around her.
“Clue #1:
Despite your thoughts of outdoing,
Your minds are sure convoluting,
You do think a lot.
What does it mean???? If you were smart you’d know. ” There was a long pause after she read the last line. They were all trying to figure out what convoluting meant, it means twisting. Finally Mikey spoke up,
“Library.”
“How?” Ray started.
“I‘ve been living with Gerard for…ever- I know what it means.” and they accepted the fact scurrying to the library.
By that time Andy and Gerard had already planted the clue and were on their way to the next location.
“How‘s that cast coming along?” Andy asked leading Gerard down the dark path- well dark to humans.
“It‘s clunky.” he laughed trying to see her face.
“Well of course it‘s a cast. We could take it off pretty soon- everything heals super fast around here, we could literally take it off tomorrow. But that’s only if your nice.”
“What does niceness have to do with it?”
“What doesn’t it have to do with it?” Andy said challenging.
“You’re ridiculous.”
“Or am I”
“But, I like you better like this.” he said causing Andy to stop, and Gerard to fall into her making them land on top of each other on the floor. They both looked at each other awkwardly, neither one of them moving.
“They aren’t here again!!!” Lori yelled.
“They lied to us” Frankie sobbed.
“They didn’t actually say they would be in here…” Bob said looking around for another clue, as soon as he spotted it he ran to it. The others followed as soon as they figured it out- it was in the dictionary.
“Clue #2:
Good job you are smart- but take a guess on this one…
Where is my favorite place in the world?”
“Kitchen!” both Frankie and Lori yelled in unison, then looked at each other funny.
“So they both like to eat! We need to catch them!!!” Ray screamed and pulled everyone to the kitchen.
Meanwhile Andy and Gerard had already placed the clue and were chilling, seeing as the kitchen clue was hard. They were still both awkward about the fall.
“Sooooo.” Andy laughed. Gerard still hadn’t looked at her since then, he was thinking. And how will I say it? Oh and by the way I’m falling in love with you?
