"Hey Kristen, how have you been?" Britt asked happy to see her friend.
"I can't complain."
Ed looked at Hughes. "How have you been lt. col. Hughes?"
"Well it's mostly all paper work. Still it keeps me away from Elissia!" The group knew what was comming next. Pretty soon they would have a picture shoved in there faces of Mases daughter.
" Shes getting so big isn't she?! And look at that hat! Isn't it cute?!"
" Well, I can see that you haven't changed a bit." Britt said with a chuckle."
Ed and Al were sweatdropping.
"Soooo. How have my brothers been doing?"
"meh. Just got back from a misson." Ed said.
Britt looked at her watch her eyes widend with panic as she realised how much the time flew. " Crap! It's 20 to 9! I'll never get home in that time! Roys going to kill me!"
"Don't worry Britt, I can give you a ride no problem." Hughes said smiling.
" Really? Thank you so much Hughes! Roy would kill me if I was late for dinner."
The group said there goodbyes and Hughes drove Britt home.
"Roy I'm home!" She said walking in the door.
Roy looked at the clock. "Good. You had 5 minutes to spare."
"Hughes gave me a ride. Whats for dinner?"
"Stew. Your favorite."
"Awsome! Thanks Roy." ^_^
"No problem." He said messing up her hair as he passed. "How'd the misson go? Anything out of the ordinary?"
"No. At least we couldnt tell. Seemed just like an ordinary mining town to us."
"You seemed to get along with FullMetal and Alphonse."
"Yeah. They were really nice." She said helping Roy set the table.
Once the table was set the two ate dinner in silence.
"Alright. Time for bed Britt. It's late." Roy snatched up the Alchemy book she was reading and put it back on the shelf.
"Aww. Alright. Night Roy."
"Night."
Britt walked into her room and turned off the light. [I wonder when Naos comming back from that misson?]
Nao was not only one of her best friends, but Roy's niece. You could tell They were related. They had the same thick black hair. Only Naos was longer. Her eyes, depending on her mood would change color. Varrying from brown, blue, green.
She sighed.[Well, Better go to sleep. Who knows what he's got planned for me?] A few minutes later she was asleep.
"Britt! Wake up! Pancakes are ready!"
She grunted a responce. "I hate getting up early..."
"Well hurry or we'll be late!"
"Okay okay I'm comming!" She forced herself out of bed and walked into the kitchen taking a seat.
"Want a cup of coffee?"
"You know I can't function without coffee."
"Okay okay. here!" He said pouring her a cup of of coffee.
"Thanks."
He noded.
"Do we have any syrup?"
"Yeah it's in the cabinet."
"Okay." She got up and found the syrup.she sat back down and drenched her pancakes in it.
Roy took a seat next to her.
"So Roy you ask Riza out yet?" Britt asked with a smirk cutting into her pancakes.
Roy blushed. "w-well no. not yet. I-I mean not that I was going to!"
"Rightttt. Of course not. Ask her out. She'd be good for you. I know you like her. I have a feeling she likes you too."
"Really? You think so?"
"Yeah. She'd make you happy."
A few months pass and things were going fine.
Roy was quiet driving to central. Which was unusual for him. Normally he'd at least explain at least explain what was going to be on at central that day. What he had planned for Britt and stuff.
"Uhh hey Roy?""
"Hm?"
"What am I doing today?"
" Oh I'm giving you and Ed a day off. You seemed tired."
"Oh okay. I won't complain! A day offs a day off."
They arrived at central a few minutes later. Britt waited in Roys office for Ed.
[I wonder what Ed and I are going to do today? ^_^ Something fun I hope....Wait...Why am I excited about seeing him? Maybe because he's just a good friend! Yeah thats it! He's just a friend.]
"Your blushing Elemental. Whats up?" He said with a smirk.
"Nothing! Whats with the smirk?"
"No reason."
