In a world of darkness, you hold the light: A Leon Squall one shot

You sat in the hotel room, looking out the window. Your long red hair neatly tied back, your blue eyes watching everything around you. Your beige cargo pants, and your black tank top reflecting in the window.
"Hey Misa!" Came a voice behind you. Turning you smiled at the girl.
"Yes Yuffie." She ran up, slamming her hand down on the window sill next to you.
"The keyblade is here. Leon went to get it." You rolled your eyes, ever since the heartless had shown up, your only hope was the keyblade. And Leon was being far to agressive about the issue.
"Have we heard anything from anyone else?" You asked. She took a deep breath.
"No, no sign of any of them. Reno, Rude, Tiffa. Not even Cloud. He's got to be around somewhere though. I mean Cloud wouldn't just give up." You looked back out the window.
"It doesn't really matter. Leon's here." It wasn't that you considered yourself weak, it was that there was nothing but Yuffie, Arieth and you here. And Aeirth couldn't fight, so you felt like to had to protect her. Yuffi could take care of herself, but it made you feel better knowing that Leon was around. And seemingly as that thought left you mind, the door to your hotel room opened. Revealing the man you were thinking about. Holding some kid in his arms.
"Leon who's that?" You asked, jumping off the window seal. He layed the kid down.
"Well Misa, believe it or not that kid has the keyblade." You looked at the small boy laying on your bed. Leaning over him you got a better look.
"So small, to small to have such a burden on their shoulders." You said. Leon, just looked at you. "But if he's the one with the keyblade, then he's the one with the keyblade."
"Yuffi can you stay here with the kid, I've got to talk to Misa alone." Yuffi looked at the two of you, back and forth, then looked at him and nodded. Leon grabbed you by your arm, and dragged you through the door, leading to the next room. Shutting it behind the two of you, he took a deep breath.
"Look Misa, I don't know what world you grew up in, but we can't leave the fate of mine up to some kid." You glared at him.
"Look Leon, don't go thinking that your world is any more important then mine. I've fought long and hard to save my world from evil far beyond what you probably know. And I've lost alot of people coming here. Reno, Vincent, Cloud, Tiffa, Marlene. Don't start yelling at me. I know that depending on him may be a big thing, but after everything that I've seen, I'm willing to walk on a little faith." He grunted.
"Listen I'm not saying my world is more important then yours, what I'm saying is that, this kid, is just that, he's a kid...."
"And he's the one with the keyblade, not you. You can't just take it from him. It's chosen him. So stop acting like it's something you have any say in. Look." You said to him, looking down, small years falling down your face. "I know that your worried about your friends, I'm worried about mine. But I need to believe that this kid can do something. I need this. If I don't then I'll never see them again." You couldn't fight the tears as they fell. Suddenly you felt very safe. Opening your eyes, you found yourself in his arms. Your head laying gently under his chin.
"I'm sorry Misa. I didn't mean to make you cry. I really am sorry. And your right. In order to see out friends again we have to believe that this kid can do something. Now please Misa, don't cry. Your beautiful eyes shouldn't look so hurt." You looked up at him. Watching as his face got closer to yours, feeling his breath on your lips, you closed your eyes, waiting to feel his lips against yours.
"HEY GUYS THE KIDS AWAKE!" Yuffi screamed as she slammed open the door. You pulled away from Leon, as he turned toward the door. He walked up to it, grabbed the doornob.
"Thanks Yuffi, we'll be right there." He said shuting the door again. He turned to you.
"Misa." He stepped closer to you, grabbed your face and brought you into him. His lips landing on yours, you wrapped your arms around his neck. The safe feeling surrounding you again. He was soft, he was warm, he was strong. He pulled away.
"Misa, don't worry, I'm not going to leave you. I'm here, I'm going to stay here with you, you won't loose me. I'll stay with you even if we get consumbed by the darkness, I won't let go of your hand." You smiled at him, happy tears falling out of your eyes. "Now come on, we need to go help the kid get started." He took your hand, tighly holding you. You didn't know what was going on to happen, you weren't sure who you'd be able to find, you just knew that Leon was there. He was there and he wasn't letting go.
