It was the middle of the night. And Akemi woke up and smiled widely while tiptoeing to Zoro and the guys' bedroom. She opened the door quietly and spotted Zoro in his hammock. She crawled in it. “Zoro! ZORO!” she hissed, but in a whisper. “Whaaat!?” he woke up, very annoyed. “Zoro!” she smiled widely again and her face was inches from his, making him blush and fall out of the hammock. Luckily, no one had woken up from the huge thud and to Akemi's snickering. “Heehee!” she giggled. “You know Zoro, you're cute! I can see why I married you!” she laid down in his hammock casually and crossed her arms behind her head. Zoro smiled. “So...what did you need?” “Your full name! Roronoa Zoro's your full name!” And I'm Midori Akemi!” Zoro's eyes bugged wide and he smiled. “Akemi, that's great! You remembered our names!” his eyes lit up.
“Oh yeah? Well I rushed over here to tell you that, but I'm wrong. I got the names wrong.” “Huh? What're you talking about?”
“I'm not Midori Akemi. I'm Roronoa Akemi.” she smirked.
Zoro stared at her in complete awe until his face started blushing again and he opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out. “I thought you might do something like that.” she giggled again at Zoro and winked at him. “Now get up, Roronoa! Sorry I woke you. ...Woah! Why do I feel like I said Roronoa before!?” she held her head. Zoro smiled. “Cuz you did.”
“Now, follow me! There's something I just remembered that could help you!” Zoro whispered eagerly. “Really!?” “Yeah! C'mon!” he grabbed her hand which made a slight blush print across Akemi's face but she snapped out of it when her pulled her outside. “Are you sure you don't wanna go back to sleep? I mean, it's midnight.” “Yeah.” Zoro replied. “Do you remember what you'd do to me?” “I...what did I do? Did I hurt you!?” “No. It was actually enjoyable...but just so you know...it involves a kiss.” “Okay. I'll try. If it's to get my memory back, then it's worth it.” Zoro took off his shirt and Akemi blushed red and practically fainted. “Woah! Akemi, don't faint on me now!” he caught her. “...so hooot.” she muttered quitely. Hopefully Zoro didn't hear. Then she looked at his scar. “OH MY GOSH! Are you okay!?” she panicked. “I'm fine. And no, you didn't hurt me.” He retold her the story of Mihawk and everything and she nodded her head. “Sounds familiar.” she answered. “Good.”
“And...wow! You really keep in shape, Zoro!” she ran her hand on one of his arm muscles and froze. “Sorry.” she blushed and pulled her hand away. “That's okay.” Zoro blushed, smiling.
“Okay, here.” he grabbed her hand, pointed out her index finger and held it up to her face. “What now?” she asked quietly. “Now kiss.” “Okay...” she sounded confused and kissed her finger. “And then?” “Down the scar.” she blushed beet red. “E-excuse me!?” “You heard me! Scar! Now!” “B-b-b-but-” “Do you want to remember?” Zoro asked softly. Akemi sighed. “Fine.” she pouted and blushed again. “But if it doesn't help, I'm gonna feel like an idiot.” she added, while reaching for Zoro's chest and ran her finger down the scar slowly.
After she did that, she froze. Zoro stared at her in a confused way until he grabbed her shoulders and shook her violently. “AKEMI!” “WOAH! Oh...sorry, Zoro. But it's like something clicked inside me and I remembered again.” “What did you remember?” “Our wedding day!” she smiled brightly. “And the other people with us...their names are Monkey D. Luffy, Himeko, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Tony Tony Chopper, and Nico Robin.” “That's right!” and then Akemi recited their positions on the crew and Zoro and her talked all night.
