(22)Great, I Just Moved in With Three Hot Vampires...Big Mistake!!(21)

Everything just looks the same to me. There's nothing else other than trees. Nothing!! I don't have a clue which way is back to the house. I can't even tell which way I was walking. I looked back up at the sky. It was getting dark fast. Pretty soon I won't be able to see anything. Panic rose inside of me. I really was lost. I took my cell phone out and groaned when I saw that I had no service. It couldn't get much worse, but I was wrong.

I jumped suddenly when I heard a stick break. I looked around the black forest. Why was I even trying to look? I can't even see. Then a dark figure appeared right in front of me. I backed up a few steps until I tripped and fell backwards. I landed on my butt. That's going to hurt in the morning. Out of nowhere a hand appeared out of nowhere in front of my face. I ignored it and got up by myself.

"Who are you?" I asked confidently. I couldn't even see the figures face, but I was pretty sure it was a man. I almost screamed when I saw two piercing blood red eyes. Okay a little creepy. Then I realized I was holding my breath. There was something telling me that I should run or something bad is going to happen.

~Erik's P.O.V.~

I sat on the couch reading a funny vampire book. It's entertaining reading vampire books that humans wrote. They come up with stupid facts, like no vampires can go out in the sun. Then again only vampires that were born can go in the sun, not made. I soon became bored and put the book down. I got up from the couch and walked over to the window. I looked outside. The moon wasn't shining brightly tonight and there were barely no stars, but I could see though. I turned around when I felt one of my brothers presence. It was Lukas. He looked scared.

"Wh...Where's Alezia? I can't find her. The last time I heard her she said she went on a walk, but that was hours ago. She should be back right now, but I looked all over the place. She isn't back. Erik..We have to do something," Lukas said frantically. I sensed the fear in his voice. Why does a foolish human girls like Alezia and Kara worry Lukas so much? I have no respect for the human kind. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked back over at Lukas.

"Yes we have to find her. Vampires crawl around the woods at night. Darrin!!" Erik yelled. Seconds later an annoyed Darrin walked down the stairs. "It seems that Alezia is lost. Let's split up and look for her." Lukas nodded and Darrin rolled his eyes, but nodded his head too. At great speed we all ran out of the house and took off running at vampire speed.

~Back to Alezia's P.O.V.~

Fear ran through me as the moon finally emerged from behind a cloud and I saw the man. He was really pale and his hair was silver. Never saw silver hair or the bright red eyes in that manner. Plus he was really musclar. He was wearing a black T-shirt that was tight, but not too tight and black blacks that fight perfectly. Then he smiled with his white teeth and pointy fangs...Wait a second..fangs?! Oh crap..This dude is a vampire and his eyes were watching my neck.

"Who the hell are you?" I questioned him again. The vampire stepped closer and closer to me with a playful smirk on his face. Then I noticed the other two figures behind him. They were probably vampires too. I held my breath as the vampire got even closer. His eyes were still glued to my neck. Once he was close enough he leaned over and was so close to could probably bite me right now.

"Jared...The names Jared," he whispered. I closed my eyes tightly as I felt his lips touch my skin, before they disappeared. My eyes snapped open to find Darrin fighting Jared. Erik and Lukas were fighting the other two, but then Erik took over and allowed Lukas to run over to me. He picked me up and started to run super fast, but stopped when Jared appeared in front of us. He must of got away from Darrin already. Lukas put me back down and another fight took place between Jared and Lukas. They were so fast that I couldn't see them, but in a flash they got perfectly still. I heard Lukas grunt in pain. I gasped when I saw Jared sink his teeth into Lukas. After a few seconds Jared let go off Lukas and just ran off. I sprinted over to Lukas as he grasped his neck and kneeled over. He stared at me with his usually glowing eyes, but they were dull and showed agony. Realization hit my like a tidal wave. He did this to keep me safe. Without a single thought crossing my mind I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him, but he didn't return it. I buried my head in his chest. It actually felt good to be this close to him. When I pulled away Lukas had a little grin before falling to the ground unconscious. I stared down at him. He almost looked like he was dead.
