Everyone tried to stop me, except L. "Don't go and risk your life for her Itazuki." Said someone that I wasn't familiar with. "Why would you go and do something like that for a girl you don't know?" Asked Light. I walked to the door and opened the door "For starters, this is my job. And another reason is...... I don't want that little girl to go what I went through, it is the worst experience anyone could go through." and with that I left. 'L's face was priceless, well they were going to find out soon enough.' I thought as I got into a car. When I got to the crime scene there were cops and helicopters every where. I walked through the cops and got to the door of the murder's home. I shook the doorknob and it was locked so I kicked the door open. When I got in I told the cops to stay outside. I heard screaming upstairs so I got my gun out and walked as close to the wall as possible until I reached the door that the screaming was coming from. I kicked open the door and I saw the little girl being held down by a teenaged boy. "STAY BACK OR I WILL SHOOT!" he yelled as he pointed a gun to the little girl's head, she cried harder. I looked out the window and saw a news helicopter hovering outside, capturing the whole thing on live TV. 'Great...' I thought as I pointed the gun at the teenager. "I came to help you. Just give me back the girl." He shook the little girl. "I'm not giving in to that sort of talk! Do you think I'm stupid? You just want to kill me!"

"That is not true, I want to help you but you have to give me the girl back first." He pulled out another gun and pointed it at me. "LIER!" I held my gun tighter. "Give me the gun, please." I said as I inched closer holding out my hand so he could give me the gun. He was shaking now. "SHE ALWAYS GOT EVERYTHING! MOM NEVER CARED ABOUT ME! SHE NEVER GAVE ME ANYTHING! I WAS SICK OF IT! SO I KILLED HER AND I'M ABOUT TO KILL THE GIRL WHO MADE MY LIFE MISERABLE!" He held the gun closer to the little girl's head and was about to shoot her until I shot his hand. He screamed and shot at me. It hit me but it only hit my hand. I yelled in pain but I ignored it and grabbed the little girl just as the cops ran in. I took the little girl outside and asked her easy and simple questions like "What's your name?" and "Where is your father?" Apparently her father was killed a few years ago and her name was Stacey. The cops took her back to the police station and fixed my hand. It only scraped my hand, gratefully. I got in my car and drove back to the headquarters. When I walked in, almost immediately everyone was asking me questions about what happened and what I said earlier. Apparently they didn't get it, well except Light, he looked worried out of his mind. I walked back over to my desk and started to sing Get Out Alive by Three Days Grace, but barely audible. Someone grabbed me by the shoulder and spun me around in my chair, it was Light. "We are going on a walk." I looked at his wrist and he wasn't connected to L anymore. I nodded and got up and walked out the door with Light. We walked in complete silence for what seemed like forever until he once again broke the silence."You do know L suspects me of being Kira? Don't you?" I looked at him with the face of do you think im dumb? "Yes, he has for a while now. Why?" He just shrugged and we walked into a coffee shop. We sat down on opposite sides of each other. "Earlier today, you said you were raped." I looked down at the table, I could feel my eyes burning and I didn't want to cry in front of Light. "Y-yes." I managed to get out while choking back tears. I felt Light sitting beside me on the booth, it scared me a little so I moved away from him. "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." He said in a soft voice as he pulled me closer to him. "What happened?" I couldn't hold it back 'Why must this happen to me?' I thought as tears rolled down my face. "I w-was sleeping and I h-heard a scream so I ran down to see what was w-wrong. When I got down there my father was dead and m-my mother had a gun on her head. I ran out t-the door and tried to run to the police station a-and a police car pulled up beside me so I stopped and s-started to bang on the door. W-when they opened the door they pulled me into the car and..... you get the rest.... they l-left me in an alley to die when they were d-done." Light pulled me closer and said in a soft voice "It's ok now, they are gone. They won't be getting out of prison. L made sure of that." I just laid my head on his chest and cried. "Good." We sat there like that for a while until Light lifted my head up and bent down to kiss me but Misa Misa's voice ruined the whole thing. Light snapped his head back and saw Misa standing at the door, looking like she was going to stab me. I shivered and whispered to Light "You should go deal with Misa, I'll walk back to the head quarters." Light nodded and got up and walked over to the very ticked off Misa Misa. I sighed and sat in the cafe and ordered a coffee, when I got it I left. I walked around for probably hours just window shopping. 'I could go back to Wammy's house and pay a visit to Watari. If he is even there.' With that thought in mind I got on a bus because I didn't feel like walking their at the moment. 'Mabey I should call L and tell him I won't be back until tomorrow.' I got out my cell phone and dialed L'd number, which again would go straight to the stupid computer. After a few rings L's voice came from the phone. "Hello?" "Hey, L I won't be back until tomorrow. Ok?" There was a pause. "We were all worried about you when you didn't come back. and may I ask, Where are you going?" I sighed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you. Well I'm going to Wammy's house to visit Watari, if he is even there. Or just to see the whack jobs that stay there." L sighed. "You know, you were once one of those whack jobs that your talking about." Everything in the background got silent. "Oh come on! You guys didn't know I came from Wammy's house? Wow, you are all idiots. I thought you would bother to se why I was on the team. Well I'm leaving, bye." Everyone yelled "Bye!" I shut my cell phone and went to sleep. It only seemed like minutes until the bus driver yelled "LAST STOP!" I slowly got up and got out of the bus. I looked up at the Wammy's house and yawned. I walked up to the door and opened it, why bother knocking? I walked in and looked around, it was empty. 'Must be at lunch or something, well Watari probably is with them sooooo to the lunch area!' I though as I walked to the lunch area. When I got there I opened it and everything went silent. 'Wonder if they remember me? Doubt it.' I thought as I spotted Watari on the other side of the room. I walked past a few staring kids, I saw a bright blonde boy and a red haired boy staring at me with interest. I walked faster and when I reached Watari he said "Ah, nice to see you again Itazuki. How is working with L?" I heard chatter starting right behind me. 'Stupid blonde and red head, ugh, they are already annoying.' "Well, to tell you the truth..... It is very boring, well the Kira case is any way." He sighed. "I heard you saved a little girl earlier today. Is that true?" I smiled, for once in my life. "Yes, I did it so she wouldn't go through what I went through. Sadly I got shot in the hand. It is not that bad though." I lifted my hand to show Watari. "Ah, you always liked the more fun ways to do things." I nodded. "Wait.... what's that suppose to mean?!" He ignored it and asked "Do you want some dinner?" I looked confused. "Wow, I thought it was lunch. But ok. What time is it?" Watari lead me to get food. "Well it is around 8:00pm. Would you like to stay in your old room for tonight?" I nodded while I got some food, then I realized that I was starving. Watari sighed and said "Well, I have to go and do some things. You can stay here for a little and eat then you can go to your room." He handed me my old key. "Thanks." I said as I sat away from everyone. When I was finished I went up to my room. As I was opening it I heard the voices of those boys. "I can't believe that girl works with L! Why her?" I could tell he was angry. "Well, mabey she didn't want to be here so she left? I don't know!" He sounded more calm and concentrated on something else. I started to open my door when they came around the corner. "Hey! You girl! Stop!" Yelled the blonde. I just ignored him and walked inside my room. When I got in I locked the door and sat on my bed. A banging came from my door. "WHAT?" I yelled. "LET US IN! WE WANT TO ASK YOU SOME QUESTIONS!" I sighed and got up and opened the door, but barely. "What?" I asked calmly. "You work with L?" The blonde asked sounding a little annoyed. "Yeah, why?" He sighed in frustration. "Why would you quit and come back to this stupid place?" It was my turn to sigh. "I didn't quit, I'm just here because I wanted to see an old friend." I looked at the red head and he was playing with a PSP. 'Wow, he is so cute!' I thought, I shook my head to get that thought out of my mind. "Who's your friend?" He asked I looked away as he asked me that question. "Well, Watari. I never had friends in Wammy's house. Everyone ignored me." The red head seemed a bit surprised by that. "Really?" I sighed "Really. Well I'm going to go in my room now, if you don't mind." I started to shut the door but the blonde put his hand in the way. "Let us come in. We want to know more about you." I shrugged and opened the door. When they walked in they sat on my bed, I went and sat as far away from them as I could without seeming to weird. "So, what would you like to know? I normally don't give information about myself, but seeing that you would annoy me until I tell you, I will." The blonde sighed. "Well, first of all. Why were you in Wammy's house in the first place?" "My parent were murdered." I stated bluntly. The red head glanced up at me. We sat there playing the game of Question and Answer for who knows how long. "Ok, last question. Why are you so far away from us? Are you scared?" I looked at the floor and yelled "GET OUT! NOW!" They both seemed a bit shocked and walked out of the room. I got up and locked it. I laid down on my bed and slowly fell a sleep.
