The prince and the peasant?!? {yuki sohma}

I sat up in a bed that was unfamiliar to me and got up.My head hurt as did my stomach and I was dizzy.I put a foot on the floor and held onto the wall,my legs felt like jelly and I didn't trust them to hold me up again just yet.I stood up strait and walked down the stairs quietly.walking over to the door I opened it and tried to step outside,but a hand on my shoulder stopped me.I looked up and saw yuki sohma.I lifted an eyebrow.
"why am I in your house?"I asked looking at him confused.I looked past him and saw tohru honda,kyo sohma and some guy in a robe.I arched an eyebrow.
"Shigure,call hatori and tell him ms.shuutoku is awake."He told the man that stood up.I rolled my eyes as I was sat down and food was placed infront of me.I looked at it like it would attack me.They started explaining how I got here.
"Ms.shuutoku do you remember getting into a fight with a couple of boys?"Yuki asked me,I shook my head no."well I found them dragging you into the woods and thowing you into a bush,do you know why?"He asked.
"Theres alot of people who want to fight me because I stop them from bullying other people.Alot of people call me a deranged demon.I think its because I have bad vision and I often squint to see people and they think I'm glaring at them like Im saying 'your next' or something."I said,hearing the rumors that go around.I'm also the witch of the school.I laughed in my head,people were such idiots.I sighed and started eating the food that was infront of me.I finished it and leaned back.
"hatori-san said you were underweight,do you not eat?"tohru had asked.
"I don't have time to take a break and eat,~nor do I have the money~."I felt like saying the last part but I didn't need their concern or their pity.I sighed when a man that looked as if he were a doctor came in.I didn't like being touched by strangers and he was a stranger.I scowled when he took my heartbeat and checked my stomach which I found was bandaged,then I found out he was the one who bandaged me.I inched away every time he tried to reach for me.A hand landed on my shoulder and I fliped the person over,putting a foot on their back to kepp them down.Then I saw it was that kyo kid.I laughed nervously and apologized.They took my weight and it read 98 pounds.The hatori guy told me I was underweight and I should try to stay in the hundreds.like 115 or a little lower or higher.I rolled my eyes and steppe off.
"Thanks for this really but I don't need it,what I need to do is get to work."I said trying not to be rude or mean.
"What you need to do is rest."He said emotionlessly.
"Like hell I will."I mumbled so he couldn't hear.
"What?"he asked,not hearing me.
"Nothing."I mumbled.He turned and gave them the news,they made me stay home today and they left for school,shigure kept singing about highschool girls.I sighed and went baack to tohrus room.I looked around and found a window.I climbed out and left for work.I finally got off and walked to the grave yard.I sat infront of my brother soras grave and smiled sadly at it.
"Sorry sora,im sorry we didn't have enough money for you to grow up with new clothes and decent food that I didn't have to pick from other peoples gardens,Im sorry you didn't have a perfect family with parents and a decent sister who didn't have to fight all the time and was actually someone you could look up to.The house I found was crappy,I know and I can't cook for my life."I laughed sadly.tears falling out of my eyes.I got up and wiped my tears,wipping off the corner of his grave and kissing the stone.I walked away and to my next job.I could only come because my job didn't start for about a half an hour.I walked in the door and put on gloves and a hat,starting the cleaning.I had to move a bunch of heavey boxes and sweep,clean windows and mop the floors.Once I was done it was about ten and I walked out tired as hell.Yuki stood there,he smiled slightly when he saw me.
"you were supposed to rest today ms.shuutoku,"He started a conversation lightly.
"I told you Id be fine,plus I need the jobs I have,Im not allowed to be out sick or they'd fire me.I told him,walking in a different direction.He caught up with me.
"home is the other way ms.shuutoku."he pointed out,pointing to the direction of his home.
"No,thats the direction of your house,Im walking home now and its this way."I told him,I didn't want to burden them any further.He ended walking me all the way home,he looked at my small cabin skeptically.I sighed.
"Really its fine,besides it just a shelter for a while until I can offored a small home of my own."I said putting my arms up in its defense.
"It looks as if it'll cave at any second."He pointed out.I laughed nervously and knocked on the wall lightly.
"Na uh,see its big and strong."I said,a second later It collapsed.My shoulders slumped in defeat and yuki sweatdropped.He offered me to stay with him once again.
:No,really its fine,I'll find a motel or something cheap I can stay in."I told him.He shook his head and watched as I walked away.I slipped and fell down the hill and he called my name and grabbed my arm,he was brought down with me and we landed at the bottom,I was ontop of something soft.I picked my self up and looked around,finally looking down when something moved.I saw yuki and quickly got up,helping him up after.
"sorry yuki."I apologized running a hand through my hair and climbing back up hill,yuki following me.

I was stuck in my mind,why hadn't I transformed when she fell and hugged me on the way down.I sighed and followed her climbing up the mountain.We reached the top and I finally asked.
"How are you going to pay for a motel if your in debt?Thats why you have three jobs."
"How did you-"He heald up a small book and I checked my pockets and sweatdropped,I grabbed it away.
"Thats how I knew where you worked."He told me.I sighed and opened the book,looking at the jobs I had writen down,how deep I was in debt and the day my little brother,mother,father and bigsisterhad died,their birthdays along with mine.There was also a to do list on the next page.A picture fell out and I quickly put it back in,shutting the book and put it into my pocket.I told him it was non of his buisness and he told me I could stay at his house for free,Id get the food I needed and the money would be worked up in its own time.I made a decison and finally gave in,nodding.He led me back to his house.This weeks pay was in my booklet.They had set up a small futon beside tohrus bed and I thanked them lightly.They nodded and left me alone for a while,tohru was cooking dinner so I had enough time to count the money I made and minus it from the debt I needed to pay.5,789.16 was now 5,723.43.It was a good amount gone but I think I needed another job.I finished my calculating and put my pencil back,closing the book lightly,the picture falling out again.I picked it up and looked at it.Everyone was smiling happily.I felt like crying but put the picture away,taping it to the page.My father hadblack hair and green eyes my mother had red brown hair and pink violet eyes That I had.My sister had my mothers hair and fun personality my fathers eyes.I had my fathers personality,stubborn,a fighter for whast we believe in.I had my fathers hair and my mothers eyes.My little brother looked exactly like dad with my mothers personality.I smiled at the picture and closed the book.Putting it behind my pillow and walking downstairs.I sat next to yuki,tohru and kyo on the other side,shigure at the end of the table.Everyone was chatting happily until I froze,putting down the food with my right eye twitching.I pulled something out of my shirt to see a shiney white snake.I arched an eyebrow when yuki grabbed it by the neck and held it to shigure telling him to skin it and cook it.I inched away taking my food with me.Smoke appeared with a big sound of 'poof' and a naked sliver haired man stood infront of me,his golden eyes smiling.
"My name is ayame,nice to meet such a beautiful girl."He introduced the smoke starting do disappeare.
"Get some clothes on you creep!"I exclaimed,putting my hands over my eyes and turning away.He came back wearing some of shigures clothes.Then I remembered something.
"Weren't you just a snake?"I asked a bit freaked.Snakes weren't supposed to turn into humans.I poked him thinking it was a dream.I sighed when he was a solid human and real.
"I think we should start explaining."shigure sighed getting serious.woah,shigure serious,thats a first.I sat down and listened intently.
"we are cursed by the spirits of the chinese zodiac animals.Ayame is the snake,kyo the cat,yuki the rat and Im the dog."Shigure stated.I blinked twice and shrugged.
"Ok."I said,accepting the fact completly.I like to stay open minded.Ayame jumped on me,giving me a bear hug.I blinked and squirmed.They looked at me with wide eyes.
"what?"
"ayame didn't transform."They pointed out.I gave a confused look.
"If a person from the opposite sex hugs us then we transform,but with you we don't I wonder why."Shigure stated seriously.I sighed.Then got an idea.I jumped on kyo and hugged him like a little kid would hug a teddy bear.He shouted and yelled making me laugh.I finally let go.
"I love pissing you off."I said pinching his cheeks"Its so easy."I added when he yelled at me.
