The First Time I Saw Him

How could my mother lie to me? When I got home, I would confront her. No. I couldn't. If I do, she'll suspect something. I wouldn't let her get away with lying.

I got on the tour bus. I didn't talk with anyone the way to my house. When I got home, I quickly changed out of my disguise. When I heard my mom come in, I had an idea.

"So mom," I said. "How was the meeting?" "It was okay." She said. "Tell me, what was it about?" I asked. My mom was starting to sweat. "It..uh..was about..uh..um..acting! Yeah, acting!"

I rolled my eyes. "Mom, were you really at a meeting?" I asked. "Or were you at aTeens from a Smalltown concert?"

My mom was quickly angry. "Gwen Beatrice Green! Where did you hear that?!?" She demanded. "It was televised." I said. "They pointed the camera to front row, and I saw you." I said.

My mom just turned and left. I went to my room. I asked her a question,and she got mad at me? I was too tired to think, SO i fell asleep.

When I woke up, I heard my mom talking. Yes! She finally talked to the principal about Annabelle.

When I got to school, Annabelle was waiting at the front door. "You are such a baby!" She yelled at me. "Because of geeky you, I got detention for a week. It should be you since you are a stupid, ugly, freak! Kurt will never like you!"

I wanted to cry. I saw the principal coming, I confronted Annabelle about the things she said to me. Now, she got detention for two weeks, and she owed me an apology, which she will never give me.

In the middle of Home Ec class, There was a loud alarm. "Attention! We have just spotted a large object coming toward the school! It is not a tornado. Nobody knows what it is. Lock all doors and shut all windows. That is all."

The class was quiet for a moment. Then, everybody started to panic. What was coming toward the school? If it wasn't a tornado, what was it?
