Chapter 9- Izzi’s POV
Once Charli arrived, I stayed at the reception desk to help her get started, but after a little while, someone burst through the front doors.
“NIKKI!!!!!!” his voice was filled with anguish. I looked up and recognized the head of wildly curly hair.
“Sir…” Charli warned.
“Is Nikki Sixx here? NIIIKKKKKKIIIIII!!!!”
“Sir, calm down.” Charli stepped around the desk and in front of him.
He continued to yell Nikki’s name at the top of his lungs.
“Okay, Buddy, calm the fuck down-” He screamed again, “HEY!” He continued screaming even as Charli screamed at him. “Look, if you don’t fucking shut your goddamned cake hole, I’m gonna punch your damn lights out! I’m serious, dude, I’ll kick your motherfucking ass if you make one more little peep!!”
He made that mistake. Charli reared back and swiftly punched him first across the cheekbone then in his gut. He fell to the floor, and Charli stood there waiting for him to stand up. I sighed, helping him up.
“Slash, I swear to God, you’re fucking insane.” I mumbled.
“She… She punched me…” He mumbled, wide-eyed.
“Can’t say you didn’t deserve it.” Nikki was standing there, hands in his pockets, smirking at Slash.
After hearing his voice, Slash practically tackled Nikki.
“Ohmigod!! I thought you were dead!!!”
Nikki hugged him and smiled slightly. “So did the entire state, apparently. Did you even recognize who helped you after a girl kicked your ass?”
Slash whirled around and grinned at me, embracing me in a spine-crushed hug. “Izzi!! I missed you!!!”
I laughed, hugging him back just as tightly. “Missed you too, Slash.”
Charli cleared her throat. “So, you gonna introduce me or what, biznatch?”
I laughed. “Slash, Charli- Charli, Slash.”
Slash walked forward, extending his hand and Charli shook it. “You got quite a right hook, there.”
She shrugged. “I try.”
He grinned at her, keeping a hold of her hand. “You have beautiful eyes….”
Charli blushed and mumbled a small thanks before looking at her feet.
I looked over at Nikki, and we exchanged identical looks. I believe love was in the air.
