Nothing's Safe Anymore!

I woke up to voices talking.

"Is she dead?" Mother's voice was shaking.

"M-mother?" I whispered. I shot up. "What happened?"

Mother stroked my hair. "You fainted sweetie."

I remembered everything. "What time is it?"

Father looked at his watch (water-proof). "11:00. Why?"

Mother started to cry. "In an hour, she'll be human!"

"I have to get ready and say goodbye to everyone." I started to tear up. I walked off to my room and cried a good 15 minutes. I packed my stuff (Stuffed animals, jewelry, and cosmetics). I swam slowly downstairs, trying to remember every detail of the castle. (Yeah, my parents are King and Queen. Meaning, me and Lilly are princesses. Yay...)

"Where you going Sister?" Lilly asked.

"Up there," I told her, pointing upwards.

"You're gonna be dead?!"

I laughed. "No. The Human World."

"How long?" I shrugged. "Come back soon ok?" She gave me a big hug.

"Jasmin." I turned to see my best friend Lia. "Say it ain't so!"

I shook my head. "I don't want to go!"

We hugged for a long time until Mother said it was time to go. I gave everyone one last hug and swam, for my last time.
