~HAIDEN'S P.O.V~
God I couldn't get Stephany off of my mind. What was she warning me about? Why was she the one warning me? If anyone would do something to us you'd think it would be her! Her and her little mind games. How come she can never leave me alone?
"Haiden whats wrong?" Kayden asked looking over at me.
"Why would you think somethings wrong?"
"Because i'm sitting here talking to you and your not listening. Its like your in your own little world." She replied with a frown.
"It nothing." I lied.
"Okay.....but if something was wrong you would tell me right?" She asked calmly. I shook my head yes not quite sure what to do. I wanted to tell her but then again I didn't want to worry her.
~KAYDEN'S P.O.V~
I could tell something was wrong but why wasn't he telling me? I looked over to Haiden and was going to ask him what we were going to do today but just like before, like he was in his own little world.
"Haiden!"
"Wha....?" He looked at me.
"Whats really wrong? You can tell me..." I looked at his face and it looked like he was fighting with himself over telling me or not.
"I don't want you to freak out over it."
"I don't care. Somethings bothering you and I want to help! I want to be there for you." I said trying to convince him that it was okay.
"Well......When I went hunting the other day, on my way home I ran into Stephany. I asked her what she wanted ans she said to warn me and that was it. I keep wondering why she of all people would want to warn me and what she was warning me from." By the time he finished he had a frown on his face.
"Its going to be okay. She probably just wanted to worry you." I reassured him. But he was right it didn't make sense. Why would she warn us? I don't get that girl.....
"Your right maybe I am just overreacting, but I can't help it. I hate not knowing whats going to happen."
" We just got to wait and see. In the mean time what do you want to do?" I asked.
"I don't know......How about we go to the park?"
"I guess so. I've been stuck in the house for three days straight and im gettind thirsty." I said. Haiden looked over at me.
"You haven't drank anything for three days?" I just shook my head.
"Okay well lets go and get you some food."
After Haiden found a meal for me (because I thought it was disguisting) we went to the park. I quickly walked over to the swings and sat down.
"Haiden push me!!" I yelled. He came over and started to push me. It was actually pretty funny because Haiden was trying to see how high he could push me. I was clinging to the swing he was pushing me so high. All of a sudden he stopped. I looked at him to see what was wrong. His eyes were wide and he was looking straight ahead.
"Oh shit. Now I know why Stephany was warning us." He said.
"What?"
"Look ahead." I did as he said and my eyes got as big as him. About fifty feet in front of us were a group of about one hundred people.
Vampire Slayers to be exact.
"Haiden what do we do?" I asked panicked.
"Run back to the house. Quick." He said as he grabbed my hand and took off running.
