this is the worst bullshit I've ever written and I'm getting really tired of writing to this crap story, so enjoy it while you can, dear 12 year old "fans," because when I redo it, you won't see it. :D

Los Angeles, California.

"Let's throw a party." I stare at Macy.

She's always been one for fun, though she's also always pushed people far beyond their comfort zones. She's disrespectful. She's impatient. She's a dumbass. But I can't seem to make her leave.

Party it is. Despite how uneasy that makes Sonny look.

Aaron shrugs "I'll call up some people and tell 'em to come over around ten. Sound good?"

Sonny leans back in his chair and huffs as a sarcastic thank-you to Aaron. "Call Sarah and tell her to bring beer, because I'm not going to move from this spot again."

I pull my legs close to my chest and burymyself as far into my seat on the couch as I can. I've never been one to go for the whole college party life thing... in fact, I've never even been to a party. Especially not one with beer or anything. What if someone pulls out drugs? God, I'm going to go to jail, aren't I? Fantastic.

"Dri." Sonny stares at me, and I give him a questioning look back. "Are you in for tonight?"

"I don't know..." Macy laughs.

"The police won't freak out on you, Adrian, if you don't touch the alcohol." She turned to Aaron and explains, "She's only nineteen."

Sonny shrugs. "I'm only twenty. And, Adrian, I believe it's only bad if, you know, if you can't hold your liquor. If you abuse it."

I sigh. "Partytime it is."

Aaron laughs, and high-fives Macy. Sonny just sits there. So what do I do? Sit there. Awkward situations like this are always so annoying... of course, I suppose I don't help them out much. Oh, woe is me.

"Dri?" I look up, and Sonny's eyes are staring straight into mine, openly, freely- "You don't have to come tonight."

I stare back at him, truly considering his offer of letting me leave- of course, I could just not stay anyway, whether he had said so or not. Hmm... a little extra time with this kid wouldn't kill me, would it? I've been hanging with him quite a bit this week... would he mind?

Wait, you idiot. Of course he's not gonna mind, he's asking you now. Though... he could just be trying to be polite...

"...piece of meat, you know." I turn my eyes towards Macy and frown... What? "Sonny," she shrugs, catching the look I give her, "you were staring at him so hard he started blushing."

"Fuck off," Sonny mutters, and blushes further. I join in with his crimson-face party.

"You two are so perfect." I don't respond, or even look up... instead I focus on the faded green chair in front of me. Dirt and a number of other questionable things coat it, and then I spot a little bit of smudged white powder on the arm of the chair... is that-

"So, Aaron and I are gonna run to the store and grab stuff for the party," Macy says, interrupting my thoughts. I look up at her, nodding. "You two are welcome to come with if you want."

I shake my head. "I'm not one for going anywhere in LA using a vehicle." Sonny laughs and declines the offer as well.

Aaron smiles. "Later, guys."

"Later."

My eyes fall to the floor as the door shuts, leaving Sonny and I speechless. I shift in my seat a second, preparing to speak, but when Sonny turns to me and opens his mouth to say something my nervous-ness takes over and I blurt out- "Where's your bathroom?"

He blinks, taken back a bit, then points past the kitchen. I thank him quickly and run into it.

Wish I hadn't.

Amen.
